Chapter 47 -47: Interest

In fact, Dimos never went anywhere else on Taiji Island. He never left the Five-Color Dragon Castle at all. To him, everything on the island that Muria had done seemed like child’s play.

Dimos has travelled almost his entire life across Elasia, and he has seen many unbelievable things. In the eyes of many giants, the majestic Giant City is the largest city in Elasia, and its splendid and glorious White Jade Divine Palace in the city center is the most luxurious castle in Elasia.

But in Dimos’s eyes, these constructions are really nothing, mere trifles. In Elasia, there are many buildings that can surpass the White Jade Divine Palace and Giant City in terms of scale and grandeur.

For example, there is the Sky City, held in the air by a powerful magic array, the Mage City with over ten thousand towering Mage Towers scattered around, and the City of the Dead, constructed from endless piles of bones….

In Taiji Island, the only things that truly attracted Dimos were those hundred or so Evil Dragon Cubs inside the Dragon Fortress, which were learning magic.

“Such a number.” In the study room of the Dragon Fortress, Dimos watched the young dragons that were sprawled over the magic books memorizing magic models. He smacked his lips, “Atris is more ruthless than I was. He actually got so many evil dragons for my grandson.”

“However, my grandson is even more interesting. He actually made the evil dragons learn magic.” Dimos looked with interest at the young dragons bobbing their heads while memorizing magic.

Dimos moved around the study room, but oddly, no dragon could see him. It was as if he didn’t exist.

“Each dragon is learning different magic,” Dimos mumbled after looking at a few young dragons memorizing magic books, “It seems my grandson has invested a lot of effort in them.”

“Huh?” Suddenly, Dimos stopped next to a white dragon that was swishing its tail while memorizing magic. He bent down to look at the magic book the white dragon was memorizing from. “Third-Ring Magic, Ice Spear.”

“A Bronze Three Level white dragon learning third-ring magic.” Dimos looked at this somewhat unusual white dragon, “This quality, it’s not something a white dragon should have. It’s more like a crystal dragon, but it’s actually a pure-blooded white dragon.”

“Have you memorized this third-ring magic?” Focused on memorizing the magic model, Clodia suddenly heard a gentle male voice beside her.

“Hmm, almost, almost finished,” Clodia answered subconsciously.

“Can you construct it in the Sea of Spirits?”

“No prob…” Just as Clodia was about to say the last word, she turned her head sharply, looking at a golden-haired youth next to her who was smiling at her.

Seeing this tiny human, several scales on Clodia’s body shot up. The little white dragon pulled her paws back and retreated a step unconsciously. Even with her tail, she could tell that this human was not ordinary and may not even be human.

Clodia looked around and, to her horror, discovered that no other dragon could see the human youth in front of her. Her voice started to tremble, “What are you?”

“…” Instead of answering, Dimos looked down at himself, then at Clodia whose body was visibly shivering, “Even though I’ve completely concealed my aura, you can still sense my strength?”

“Feel… can’t feel.” Clodia stuttered in response. The youth in front of her had no trace of extraordinary power, just like an ordinary human youth. But only a fool would think that he’s just an ordinary person.

“Then why are you afraid of me?”

“Woo woo… Can’t you just stop messing with me? I’m just a common little white dragon. There are so many dragons here, go find another dragon.” Clodia grumbled, feeling so scared she almost cried.

“…” Looking around, Dimos suddenly realized the reason, it was because he looked “ordinary”, and that is what made the white dragon afraid. It is the unknown that can be the most frightening.

“Smart white dragon, you really are different. You haven’t answered me yet, can you construct a third-ring magic model in the Sea of Spirits?”

“I can.” At this moment, Clodia was no longer stuttering, and the fear in her heart faded. She understood that if a being of this caliber really wanted to hurt her, there would be nothing she could do.

“You’re only Bronze Three Level and you can already cast third-ring magic?” Dimos asked somewhat puzzled.

“I can.” Hearing the young man’s doubt, Clodia puffed up her chest and held her head high. She said proudly that among the hundred dragons in the castle, only she could cast magic above her level. Even Muria couldn’t, and that was something she was proud of.

“Incredible.” Dimos looked at the buoyant, confident white dragon in front of him, “Even among the Golden Dragons and Silver Dragons, very few are gifted enough to cast magic above their level. Are you really a white dragon?”

“Of course I am.”

“What a pity.” Dimos sighed, of all the dragon races, white dragons are the weakest, with no exception. This prodigious dragon was born into the weakest dragon race, “Do you like magic?”

“Yes, I do.”

“Why do you like it?”

“Because learning magic can compensate for my innate deficiencies. I am the weakest White Dragon, but if I master magic, even the Red Dragon wouldn’t dare to provoke me.”

Clodia answered, then recalled something Muria once taught her: “Also, Muria said that in Elasia, out of every ten dragons that die, seven are White Dragons. To avoid being slaughtered in the future, I need to study magic diligently, become stronger, strong enough that no one dares to provoke me.”

“That makes sense. Among the dragons slaughtered by humans, the number of White Dragons is indeed the highest.” Dimos nodded.

“Muria also said that even if I’m a White Dragon, I’m still a dragon. I shouldn’t live dazedly like those ordinary beasts. A dragon should live like a dragon.”

“So, what does it mean to ‘live like a dragon’?” Dimos, upon hearing his grandson’s words, became more interested.

“True dragons outshine all beasts and are revered by all spirits.”

“My grandson sure is interesting.” Upon hearing Clodia’s words, Dimos couldn’t help but laugh.

Laughing, an idea suddenly popped into Dimos’ mind. With this idea in his mind, he approached the front of the study room, undoing his almost invisible state as he walked.

“Who is he? When did he come in?” All the young dragons in the study room observed Dimos, who was very small compared to their sizes.

“Is this a human?” A Red Dragon looked at Dimos, licking his lips with some saliva dropping.

“Idiot.” Seeing her fellow dragon’s behavior, the juvenile dragon, Cynthia, smacked his head to the ground with her claws. “How could there be humans here? Just think about it logically.”

“Big sister, then who is he?” Another Red Dragon turned its head to look at the juvenile dragon, Cynthia. Muria had temporarily appointed Cynthia and Renata as the supervisors of the Red Dragons in the castle.

“I don’t know. I can’t figure it out. But he’s certainly not human. If you don’t want to suffer, stay in line.”

Meanwhile, Dimos had reached the forefront of the study room, successfully attracting the attention of every dragon present. Looking at the dragons staring at him in unison, Dimos’ mouth curled upwards. He wanted to do something fun.

“I have an announcement. Because my grandson, Muria, has just entered his dormant period, I will be your magic teacher from today onwards.” Dimos announced his newly conceived idea with a smile. “Any objections?”

“I have no objections!” The juvenile dragon, Albert, immediately took the lead in expressing his stance. He heard this man mention Muria as his grandson, implying he was Muria’s grandfather.

He had met the Golden Dragon Mother, Muria’s mother, once in Crystal Castle. The Mother was a legendary Dragon Mage. Therefore, if the daughter was so powerful, how much more potent would her father be? Then, Albert remembered the earlier terrifying pressure that almost scared him off. He seemed to have understood something.

Once a dragon took the initiative, the others immediately followed. No dragon playing the fool. After many years of studying in the Five-Color Dragon Castle, these dragons had radically changed from the other five-colored dragons in the wild. They were disciplined, reasoned in times of trouble, not just recklessly charging in.

“Very good!” Dimos was somewhat satisfied looking at these hundreds of five-color dragons. His grandson seemed to have done a good job in training and educating these dragons; all were obedient without him showing off any tricks.

Atop the castle platform, above the golden cocoon into which Muria had transformed, phenomena of hurricane, thunder, and flames were continuously appearing, caused by the rampant absorption of the three elements.

Meanwhile, several Cloud Giants dutifully poured Elemental Crystals onto the cocoon according to the given instruction. Near the cocoon, quite a number of young female Cloud Giants were cleaning up the discarded crystals that had been devoured.

On the outermost perimeter, hundreds of Storm Giants armed with various heavy weapons and donned in armor loyally guarded the area.

Inside the golden cocoon, Muria’s body was changing rapidly under the influence of the Dragon King’s Primordial Blood, his body scaling up and down with the Titans’ bloodline inhibiting it.

The bloodlines of the Golden Dragon and the Titan were countering each other benevolently within Muria’s body. Under this interaction, Muria’s body was growing incessantly, with his bones, meridians, and muscles strengthening each day.

Inside the castle, Dimos was teaching the young dragons magic with great interest, while atop the castle, Muria was undergoing a crucial transformation in his life.

Time was passing stealthily. It seemed like nothing had changed, yet everything had.
