Just A Daoist Who Occasionally Kicks Ass-Chapter 584: Unreasonable! The Seamless Master Li! The Bear Clan Demon’s Residence!
Bear demons were renowned for their formidable strength and powerful physiques.
This particular bear demon was a local tyrant of Shituo City, with four hundred years of cultivation and an overwhelmingly arrogant presence.
In battle, he rarely needed spells; he could simply charge with his body and tear his opponent apart. Yet today, he was left utterly stunned. The bloody human leg he had been gnawing on, marked with countless teeth marks, fell to the ground, now coated in dust.
The bear demon froze, staring at Li Yanchu. Though Li Yanchu’s aura was well-hidden, the demon’s sharp eyes could easily discern that he was also of the bear clan. And judging by his size, he wasn’t especially large.
But his strength... it was absolutely staggering.
The bear demon stared blankly at Li Yanchu.
Smack!
Li Yanchu slapped him again.
“Still not convinced, huh?!”
The immense force made the bear demon’s head ring. The skin on his face cracked, blood streaming down.
For a moment, the bear demon even had the illusion that this fellow clansman could have killed him with a single slap! Struggling to rise, he realized he had clearly chickened out earlier. How could someone be this fierce?!
“Who... who are you?! I don’t know you!”
Demons are said to be ferocious and bloodthirsty, but when faced with a stronger demon, even they understand rules.
In a human dynasty, not following rules might just get you beaten. But in the Shituo Kingdom, a place teeming with demons, if you stubbornly resist, you risk being eaten.
Just last month, this bear demon had devoured a demon who had disrespected him. He hadn’t expected karma to strike him so quickly.
“You owe me money and still pretend not to know me? Stand at attention!”
Li Yanchu then kicked the bear demon. The bear demon felt as if a massive iron hammer had smashed into his abdomen! 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
Crack!
His ribs broke, and his internal organs shifted. He was instantly in too much pain to speak. This immense strength could only belong to a top-tier bear clan demon!
The bear demon didn’t understand what “stand at attention” meant, and he didn’t even know whose money he supposedly owed.
The surrounding demons, hearing this, hesitated, fearful to approach. The young man’s spear on his shoulder radiated a deadly aura; he was clearly no ordinary demon. Who would wield such a massive, high-level spear without power and status? The spear exuded an intimidating presence; it was clearly the weapon of a great demon!
“Never thought there’d be someone this fierce from the Ox Clan in Shituo City. Damn, that’s exhilarating!” A tall ox demon thought excitedly.
The ox clan didn’t hold high status in Shituo City, and he lived a fairly ordinary life. Yet he never expected a fellow clansman in Stone City to be so brutally dominant!
“Truly badass!” the ox demon thought with admiration.
Hearing that it was just a dispute between two people, the others didn’t pay much attention.
In Shituo City, it wasn’t unusual to see dozens of fights in a single day.
“I don’t even know you, how could I owe you money?!”
The bear demon was completely stunned. His head was ringing, and he had several teeth knocked out and multiple ribs broken.
He could hardly believe it. For a bear demon with such formidable bones and strength, he had been kicked a few times and ended up in this pitiful state.
“Don’t know me? Owe money and won’t pay it back, and still act like you’re in the right?!” Li Yanchu cursed and kicked the bear demon away!
Crack!
Several more bones in the bear demon’s body snapped as he slammed heavily onto the ground.
The sheer force crushed a nearby watching rat demon into a pulp!
Li Yanchu strode over, the tiger-headed golden spear resting on his shoulder, his gaze domineering.
“Recognize me now?” His tone was calm, almost casual.
“Yes! Yes! I do owe you money, Master! I’ll go home and get it for you right away!”
The bear demon was now barely clinging to life, yet his smile was surprisingly warm.
For some reason, the surrounding demons felt a pang of sympathy.
Shituo City circulated gold and jewels, and even the humans kept as livestock were considered valuable assets.
The demons around watched in nervous awe.
“Which sect sent someone to collect debts? Damn, that’s savage!”
Thanks to the use of an Illusory Form, even though Li Yanchu wasn’t actively using any transformation spells, no one noticed he was human. And the way he spoke and acted was so convincingly demonic that no one sensed anything off.

After a while, Minghe sharply sensed a presence approaching. She could sense an overwhelming demonic qi. She looked up and saw two figures slowly coming toward them.
The one in front was tall and upright, a long sword hanging at his side, his facial features sharp and defined. On his shoulder rested a golden spear, looking flamboyant and commanding! It was Li Yanchu, now in his casual clothes after having changed out of his Daoist robes.
Li Yanchu in robes had an ethereal, otherworldly aura. Now, in plain clothes, he exuded the sharp, ruthless air of a jianghu wanderer. A domineering, virile aura radiated from him.
Behind him followed a large bear demon. This bear demon was nearly fully human in form, retaining only some of its original features. Demonic qi still emanated from its body, but its eyes flickered with fear. Bloodstains marked its body, and it staggered as it walked.
“What’s going on here?” Minghe asked, confused.
“That bastard owes me money, let’s go collect it at his place,” Li Yanchu said with a smile.
The bear demon looked at Li Yanchu with deep reverence. Even with a beautiful fox girl standing right there, he didn’t dare glance at her.
Just like that, Li Yanchu quickly arrived at the bear demon’s residence. The architecture in Shituo City was similar to human-style buildings. The bear demon’s home clearly reflected the layout of a wealthy household.
“Master, please follow me,” the bear demon said politely, leading the way.
Blood occasionally dripped from his mouth; he had lost a few teeth from earlier blows, and his cheeks were split. His speech was slightly garbled.
Li Yanchu nodded and followed behind as if nothing had happened.
Lin Xiuning, the young lady from a wealthy family in the Kingdom of Qian, looked at him in shock. This Daoist was unlike any she had seen before. And somehow, Lin Xiuning felt that he didn’t feel out of place at all in this Shituo Kingdom...
Then, the group quickly settled in. As soon as Li Yanchu stepped into the bear demon’s residence, he felt a strong stench of blood.
“You keep humans locked up in your home?” Li Yanchu asked calmly.
“Yes, yes! Master, if you like, I can fetch a few for you! Ah, no, bring them all!” the bear demon hurriedly replied.
“No need. Just show me,” Li Yanchu said lightly.
Sure enough, the bear demon had twenty or thirty humans locked up in his home. There were men and women, all clearly terrified of him.
The bear demon’s cruelty was so extreme that even numbing themselves to it was impossible. From the way he had walked down the street earlier, gnawing openly on a human leg, it was obvious how savage he was.
And on the floor, there was indeed a corpse. It was a young woman, and one of her thighs had been forcibly torn off. She had died from excessive blood loss.
