Jujutsu Kaisen: I Can Travel Back in Time-Chapter 49 - 43 My head really hurts Q-Q
Chapter 49 - 43 My head really hurts Q-Q
The man with the scar on his face suddenly pulled a knife from nowhere and lunged at Ran Mouri with alarming speed.
Before making this move, he had quickly analyzed his opponents. While Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru were still teenagers, they were likely sorcerers and had undergone some physical training. Conan was too young to be a threat. That left Ran Mouri—slender, seemingly less dangerous. She was the easiest target.
The blade cut through the air in a swift arc, aimed directly at Ran—
But she dodged effortlessly.
Though his initial strike missed, the scarred man adjusted quickly, raising his knife again and slashing toward her face. Just as the blade was about to make contact, a slender hand gripped his wrist. Before he could react, his body lifted off the ground, and he was slammed onto the cold, hard pavement with a textbook-perfect shoulder throw.
"Wow! Hey, kid, your girlfriend's got some serious moves!" Gojo Satoru said, still standing with his hands in his pockets, amused.
"Of course! Ran is the champion of the National High School Karate Kanto Tournament," Conan said proudly, puffing out his chest.
The three remaining men in the alley, seeing their companion taken down so easily, pulled out their own knives and charged forward. One of them barely managed a few steps before feeling a sharp pain in his chest. He staggered back, the metallic taste of blood rising in his throat—a result of a powerful kick from the bun-haired boy with strange bangs.
The other two turned to help but were met with rapid punches to their cheekbones, delivered by Geto. The knives clattered to the ground with a metallic clang.
Seeing the situation turn against him, Yamashita Ryo attempted to slip away into the shadows of the alley. He cautiously crept towards the opposite exit, but just as he thought he had escaped—
A flash of white caught his eye in the darkness.
Heart pounding, Yamashita Ryo froze. "Gojo Satoru? But—you were just at the entrance of the alley!"
Gojo feigned disappointment, clutching his chest dramatically. "I thought you knew me well! Everyone in the jujutsu world knows I can teleport. But I guess you wouldn't, since you were expelled ages ago! So, never mind—it doesn't count."
Trembling with rage, Yamashita Ryo yanked his phone from his pocket, planning to summon a cursed spirit.

Before he could act, a tiny white ball of light formed between Gojo's fingers. It hovered momentarily before streaking through the air—
Boom—
The moment it touched the phone, an explosion sounded.
"Ah—!"
Yamashita Ryo yelped, instinctively letting go as his phone, still burning, flew from his hands. It crumbled into ashes the instant it hit the ground.
"You—what the hell are you doing?!" Yamashita Ryo yelled, enraged.
Grinning, Gojo grabbed Yamashita by the collar, effortlessly lifting him into the air. "I don't like people who need equipment to control cursed spirits. My best friend here (๑>•̀๑) can control multiple curses easily—" he gestured towards Geto Suguru .
At that moment, the distant wail of police sirens filled the air.
The four remaining men in black, realizing the situation, scrambled to flee, but Ran and Geto blocked their escape. One of them, attempting to run, was suddenly struck in the head by a flying rock, nearly stumbling to the ground.
"Ah! Who the hell threw that?!" He clutched his bleeding forehead.
"Me!" came a small, confident voice.
It was Conan.
"Hey! What's going on here? Is this a fight?" Two figures appeared at the alley's entrance—one tall, one short—both in standard Japanese police uniforms.
Seeing no chance to escape, the scarred man suddenly clutched his side, putting on a pained expression as he limped toward the officers. "Officer! Those two attacked us!" he pointed accusingly at Geto and Ran.
The taller officer narrowed his eyes, scanning them before turning back to the scarred man. "Really? Two high schoolers beat you up?"
"Yes! Look at my injuries!" The scarred man rolled up his sleeves, revealing bruises on his arms.
"So... you and your grown men lost to two teenagers?" The officer raised an eyebrow.
"They attacked first!" Conan countered, pointing at the scarred man. "Especially him—he tried to hurt Sister Ran."
"Huh? There's a child here?" The shorter officer finally noticed Conan standing behind Ran. "You seriously tried to attack a kid?!"
"No—I didn't lay a hand on him!" the scarred man protested desperately.
"Ow, Suguru, my head hurts!" ꉂꉂ◟(˃᷄ꇴ˂᷅๑)༡ Gojo suddenly released Yamashita Ryo, letting him collapse onto the ground. He dramatically leaned onto Geto Suguru, holding his head.
"Uh... we didn't touch him!" the scarred man blurted out, panicked. "His headache has nothing to do with us!"
Both officers turned their attention to Gojo's distinctive blindfold and frowned.
"Not only did you attack students and a child, but you also picked on a disabled person?" The taller officer pulled out a pair of handcuffs. "You're coming with us!"
"H-He's not blind!" The scarred man reached out to yank Gojo's blindfold off but was stopped by Geto.
The men in black, realizing the police wouldn't believe them, exchanged nervous glances and attempted to slip back into the shadows of the alley.
But Geto, prepared for this, quickly moved to block their escape—dragging along the "big white-haired cat" beside him. Having already suffered a beating, the criminals hesitated. None dared to challenge them again. One by one, they surrendered.
Half an hour later, Gojo, Geto, Conan, and Ran stepped out of the Shinjuku Police Station, having finished giving their statements.
"Go home now," Officer Megure instructed. "I called Mouri-san. Those guys will be locked up for at least two days."
As he walked back into the station, Geto turned to Gojo. "Satoru, you don't have to pretend to be blind anymore."
"Suguru, I really can't see with the blindfold on!" Gojo said to Geto dramatically.
"You can use your cursed energy to see! And you're heavy!" Geto shoved him off.
Gojo smirked. "So, you would carry me if I were lighter?"
Geto rolled his eyes. "You crazy fucker."
Meanwhile, Ran smoothed her hair and turned to Conan. "Who called the police, anyway? Was it you?"
"Eh? No! I thought it was you!" Conan blinked.
At that moment, Gojo raised his hand. "I did!" ꉂ (˵ •̀▽•́ ˵ )
"You?!" Geto, Conan, and Ran exclaimed in unison.
"Of course! I'm a model citizen. When I see criminals disturbing the peace, I call the police immediately!" Gojo declared without shame.
If Gojo Satoru was a "model citizen," then Tokyo had no need for a police force.
Geto silently mourned for all the buildings, bridges, and roads Gojo had "accidentally" destroyed in the name of peacekeeping.
