"And of course I’ve heard of the black scaled Draconian; it’s sort of hard to not hear about the ’up and coming’ talent that might one day fulfill the old prophecy that your people have waited so long for."

Kha’Miero kept quiet at that, just staring back at Ishtarnii before looking at Anwen when the Harekin asked "That’s the prophecy talking about usurping the control of the Confederation, right? Or at the very least splitting away and establishing control over the Death Scale Mountains?"

"That would be putting it mildly, and it is also a prophecy that most, if not all of the current generation has brushed aside. It would be suicide to even attempt to fulfill it since the Orcs, Wolfkin and us Elephantkin wouldn’t take kindly to such a betrayal."

For the first time the giantess spoke, her voice rumbling slightly as she glanced at the Draconian by her side; in response Kha’Miero let out a huff before she said "I have no interest in it. All of the Old Scales are eager to attempt it because they have nothing to lose; if I fail they were dead anyways, if I succeed they die in a new place. It matters not to me."

Looking between them all and desperately hoping this wasn’t some sort of barbed conversation that would lead to anything bad, I just sat silently in the middle before blinking a few times as the Elephantkin chuckled and patted Kha’Miero on the shoulder.

"Good, because that would have been such a loss for all of us if you decided to abide by their wishes. Now, I have to wonder... is this the Human I’ve heard so much about? She’s quite cute~!"

Those large and warm amber eyes focused on me, making me squirm a little, especially as she added "I’m Aisha, of the Ivory Clad. Kha’Miero and Lu’Shaki were telling me about you during our class earlier... after some pestering, admittedly."
