Isekaied Into An Eroge, Time To Have Fun!-Chapter 80: Physical Combat (1)
"Alright, that... is... TIME! Gather ’round whelps! Side by side, no hiding behind one another! Quickly now, quickly!"
Bo’Katari tore her eyes off of the clock right as it chimed, drawing us all out of our stupor and sending the room into a bit of a frenzy as we rushed over towards her, standing right beside one another in a large ring with our Orc Professor at the center.
"This is Physical Combat, and every single day that I have you pathetic weaklings here I WILL be trying my damnedest to break you down and build you back up! This class is meant to prepare you for the battles and wars that are waged outside of this city, to help bolster your strength for whenever you rush into a Dungeon and encounter a monster.
If you think you were just here for some light exercise, or perhaps thought that this was just some throwaway class to pad your schedule, not only were you wrong but you are incredibly stupid. Anyone who treats this next hour as anything less than proper conditioning and training WILL be failing this class."
Slowly raking her stony black eyes over everyone gathered here, Bo’Katari curled her lips in a slight sneer as she then asked "Any questions, whelps?", waiting to see if anyone would dare to raise their hand after that little tirade.
I was thoroughly ’whipped’ from just her words, not wanting to draw attention to myself after all of that - mainly because I was one of a few who very much looked like they needed physical conditioning - and yet the two muscular futanari beside me were anything but dissuaded from being themselves.
"I do, Professor."
Kha’Miero was the first to break the silence, raising her hand slightly and drawing the black eyes of our Professor like a predator that had just caught sight of some juicy prey; still leaning on her axe, Bo’Katari just grunted and waited for Kha’Miero to ask her question.
"Will this year be entirely about practice combat between us as a class, or will we ever actually get to whet our blades against a real opponent?"
That sneer turned into a wicked grin that caused all of her scars to twist on her taut green flesh, turning the Orc into a bit of a terrifying monstrosity of violence with merely a facial expression; the excited growl that somehow contained words definitely didn’t help either...
"Oh, we will most certainly~ be whetting our blades this year, Kha’Miero... There will be times where we will be heading into a Dungeon for the entire day just to track the progress you have made, and there will be fun surprises in class all year round. I do hope all~ of you are looking forwards to this class~!"
Both Kha’Miero and Lu’Shaki were nodding on either side of me, their bodies radiating off their excitement as their energy began to flow freely, something that wasn’t missed at all but our grinning Professor.
Her eyes swept over them both before they dropped down to me, her grin widening for a moment as she took in the shorter, definitely not combat ready Human standing firmly between a black scaled Draconian and a somewhat slimmer but still powerful Orc.
A flash of understanding in her black eyes made me blush a little as she drank in my entire appearance, a tiny nod embarrassing me as she seemed to be saying ’I know exactly what you are~!’ without speaking a single word.
Just a glance and nothing more, practically imperceptible to everyone else and just enough for me to be thoroughly flushed now that I felt rather ’exposed’ by the Professor, but for her this wasn’t anything special enough to mull over.
She just smirked at me and then began to look around herself again, taking in everyone else and eventually saying "We have an hour and fifteen minutes each day. Warmups start the moment class starts, and they’ll be seven or so minutes long. Then we get into the training itself.
This could be anything from just conditioning, bodybuilding, or sparring depending on what I believe needs to be done. Finally the last seven or so minutes of the class will be used to wind your bodies back down to a ’normal’ state, and although I think it’s a waste and is far too soft, the Academy tells me I HAVE to provide mild healing pills before you head off to your next classes."
Bo’Katari let out a disapproving snort at that, shaking her head and muttering something under her breath before hoisting that giant axe onto her shoulder and continuing "That means you should be good to go when class is over. All muscle tears and any wounds should heal right up, and if any of you in here are taking Alchemy, you’ll learn that most of the things you make wind up in these classes."
Slowly beginning to pace around the circle we had made around her, Bo’Katari wasn’t looking at anyone in particular as she added "On top of fighting I’ll also be running through combat formations and party composition, though nowhere near as much as the training itself. I am here to turn YOU into a fighter, not a leader or a cog in a well oiled machine. Those sorts of things are taught next year."
Spinning on her heel and returning to the center, Bo’Katari grinned again and shouted "So, let’s get it started! Everyone, let’s start the stretches, then we’re getting right into a run around the training grounds! Reach for them toes!"
She began to shout out random things for us to do for these stretches, starting with the simple yet forever effective toe touch, which began to loosen up the muscles in the legs and the lower back as we held it for fifteen to twenty seconds.
As we did so the Orc began to prowl around again, never remaining in one place and constantly searching for people doing it wrong... or just to use this opportunity to check people out... like me...
She stopped right behind me and was blatantly staring at my ass as she said "Further, Natalie. I know you can reach further...", the slightly husky tone making me blush as I tried to go further; with her being an inch away from me I was equally embarrassed and aroused, which was... definitely something to feel.
All she needed to do was just shuffle forwards a step and she would be right against me, or all I needed to do was lean back and press myself against her... and suddenly we would be in a rather compromising position...
And yet she was gone just as quickly as she had come over, shouting for us to stand back up and reach above our heads, further loosening our backs and telling us we should raise the back of our feet to help stretch our legs as well.
