Interstellar Beast World: All My Husbands Are Powerful and Rich!-Chapter 191: Suspicious
Inside the villa.
After Rory left, Aren remained sprawled across the sofa, barely moving. Every now and then, a foolish little smile would creep across his face.
It felt wonderful.
The Female Master hadn’t disliked him.
She had even worried about him.
He really wanted to kiss the Female Master.
When would she come back today?
If he had known that losing the fight would mean he couldn’t go out with her, he would never have fought Xarion in the first place.
Being tied up for a while wouldn’t have killed him anyway.

Inside the aircraft, Rory watched the villa’s surveillance feed for a while.
The rabbit on the screen showed no unusual behavior whatsoever.
Had she simply been overthinking things?
"Female Master... are you suspecting that rabbit?"
Xarion sat beside Rory, his head resting lightly against her shoulder. Seeing her stare at the surveillance image of the rabbit for so long, he asked quietly.
Rory glanced at the place where his neck had been wounded earlier. After applying Yuel’s leaves, the injury had already healed completely.
Only two faint red marks remained as proof that he had been hurt there not long ago.
Her gaze returned to the surveillance screen.
"I’m a little puzzled," she said slowly. "How could an ordinary rabbit manage to bite through your neck?"
After all, Xarion was Rank Eleven. No normal rabbit should have been capable of injuring him.
She turned to look at him. "When it bit you, didn’t you suspect anything?"
"I did."
Xarion lifted his arm and wrapped it casually around Rory’s waist. His cool lips brushed against the edge of her ear as he spoke in a low voice.
"That’s why I beat it up. I wanted to force it to reveal its true form. But nothing happened. So I dropped the suspicion."
He paused briefly before continuing. "I hit it pretty hard. If that rabbit really had something to hide, it would have exposed itself by now. Unless... it’s Rank Eleven, like me."
But how many Rank Eleven powerhouses could there really be in the entire interstellar empire?
And one that happened to be a rabbit?
Rabbit clans were notoriously weak in terms of survival ability. It was almost unheard of for one of them to reach Rank Eleven.
In Xarion’s opinion, the rabbit was probably just unusually tough and happened to have sharp teeth.
Besides, at that moment, he had been in the middle of his rut and completely unguarded.
When he lowered his guard, even the wolf pups back in the Snow Domain could bite through his hand.
He finished explaining his reasoning to Rory.
Rory listened thoughtfully, rubbing her chin as she considered it. After a moment, she looked at him and said slowly, "Is it possible... that it really is Rank Eleven?"
After all, the Astrium empire was vast. It wouldn’t be impossible for a few hidden powerhouses to exist.
Xarion still found that unlikely.
But since the Female Master suspected something, he could test the rabbit again.
"Then when we get back," he said calmly, "I’ll beat it up again. If it really has something to hide, it’ll definitely slip up."
Rory nodded, finding the method reasonable.
But in her mind, another thought had already begun to take shape. If Cotton Candy really did have a secret... if it truly was a Rank Eleven male ability user...
Why would it disguise itself as an ordinary rabbit and follow her around?
What exactly was it trying to do?
The aircraft soon landed outside the hospital.
Carrying the cakes and cookies she had baked earlier that day, Rory headed inside to visit Gina and her newborn cubs.
When she stepped into the room, Gina’s mate, Leif, was there as well.
It had only been a few days since Rory last saw them, yet the five tiny cubs—who had once been small enough to lift with one hand—had already grown larger than kittens.
They were now crawling everywhere across the bed.
Leif stood beside it in complete chaos, constantly reaching out—catching one cub before it tumbled off the edge, only to whirl around and grab another trying to escape in the opposite direction.
He was already sweating from all the effort.
Rory stared in astonishment at the frantic scene: Leif scrambling to keep up with five wildly energetic cubs looked hilarious.
"Gina, they’ve grown so fast," she said.
Gina, meanwhile, was happily eating the cake Rory had brought.
"This is their fastest growing stage," she said with a smile. "In another month, they’ll be able to take human form—and they’ll crawl even faster."
In an interstellar society, it was the fathers who usually cared for the cubs. Rory glanced at Leif again. Then, the five cubs scattered across the bed.
The corner of her mouth twitched.
She suddenly understood why Yuel had been so delighted when she said she didn’t want children for the time being.
She didn’t even dare imagine what it would be like if she someday had five or six wolf cubs with Xarion.
The scene played vividly in her mind—
A half-dead wolf father lying somewhere in the corner, barely alive...
While a pack of tiny wolf cubs howled and demanded food around him.
The thought alone was chaos.
Over on the bed, Leif had just managed to catch one cub that was about to tumble onto the floor when two others suddenly started fighting. They were growling and yipping at each other fiercely as if there was actually a valid reason for them to fight.
Leif looked like he was about to collapse. Finally, he cast a pleading glance toward Gina.
"Female Master... can I take them back now?"
Normally, the cubs didn’t stay in Gina’s room.
But before Rory arrived, she had messaged Gina in advance.
Gina wanted Rory to see how much the cubs had grown, so she asked Leif to bring them over.
Because of that, there were no safety rails installed around the bed.
Seeing the pitiful look in her mate’s eyes, Gina nodded immediately.
"Go ahead and take them back."
The moment he got permission, Leif grabbed the basket nearby and began scooping the crawling cubs into it.
But the moment he placed the first cub inside and reached for the second, the first had already climbed right back out.
He shoved the second cub into the basket and rushed to catch the escapee—
Only for the second to crawl out immediately.
Rory: "..."
Gina: "..."
In the end, Rory and Gina both had to help before they managed to gather all five cubs into the basket.
Leif let out a huge sigh of relief and bolted out of the room with the basket in his arms.
Fortunately, Gina had several other mates who helped care for the cubs.
If Leif had to handle all five alone, he would have gone completely mad.
After Leif left with the cubs, Rory stayed and chatted with Gina for a while. When she saw that it was getting late, she prepared to leave.
She had already promised Jasper—they were going to watch the meteor shower tonight.
***
Outside the hospital, Rory had just stepped toward the aircraft when Jasper’s light-brain suddenly rang.
The moment he saw the message on the screen, his expression changed dramatically.
"Rory... something’s happened to my older brother. I—"
Before he could finish, Rory immediately said,
"I understand. Go."
No meteor shower, no matter how beautiful, was more important than someone’s life.
"Do you want Xarion and me to come with you?" she asked.
She was worried Jasper might not be able to handle everything alone.
"No, it’s fine. I can handle it myself."
Jasper shook his head.
He already felt guilty about missing their meteor shower.
He couldn’t let Rory and Xarion exhaust themselves helping him too.
"Rory, let Xarion take you to watch the meteor shower. I’ll be back early tomorrow morning."
After saying that, he gave Xarion a few final instructions before boarding another aircraft and leaving.
With a Rank Eleven powerhouse like Xarion beside her, Jasper wasn’t worried about Rory’s safety.
Watching him depart, Rory turned to Xarion.
"Come on. Let’s go watch the meteor shower."
Xarion seemed to be in decent condition.
Rory grabbed his hand and led him onto the aircraft, heading toward the cockpit to pilot it herself.
But the moment she stepped inside, Xarion followed after her.
"Female Master, let me fly the ship," he said gently. "You should rest."
The journey to the Stellar River would still take three or four hours.
He didn’t want her to get tired.
Rory didn’t argue. She simply sat down in the empty seat beside the pilot’s chair and leaned back to rest.
At the same time, she reopened the manor’s surveillance feed.
Cotton Candy was no longer on the living room sofa.
Looking through the cameras, she discovered that the rabbit had slipped into a guest room on the first floor.
There were no cameras inside the guest rooms, so she couldn’t see what he was doing.
The feed showed that he stayed inside for more than half an hour before finally coming back out.
His injuries looked unchanged.
It didn’t seem as though he had secretly healed himself.
When Rory finally closed her light-brain, the aircraft had already reached the outskirts of the Stellar River.
Xarion found an excellent vantage point and let the craft hover in midair.
Rory had just stood up when Xarion walked over and wrapped his arms around her from behind.
"Female Master," he murmured softly, "can I have another kiss?"
His body was even hotter than it had been the night before.
