Interstellar Beast World: All My Husbands Are Powerful and Rich!-Chapter 123: Just like that?
After reminding Paros, Ethan turned to Vincent with a conciliatory smile.
"Prince Vincent, my lord didn’t mean it that way. He simply wanted to see Female Rory once. What happened back then was indeed our lord’s fault—he failed to consider things properly. That part is on him. We apologize."
"If possible, could you allow Female Rory to come out and meet my lord just once? I guarantee that after this, my lord will never trouble Female Rory again."
Vincent’s attitude toward Ethan Gabriel was still courteous.
After all, the old dragon had just helped resolve the matter of the Violet Serpent Clan that had wronged Jasper and endangered Rory.
"Second Elder," Vincent said calmly, "I sincerely appreciate your help yesterday with the Serpent Clan. If you ever encounter trouble in the future, I will help you without hesitation."
"But one matter is one matter. I will not allow my Female Master to meet Paros. You may both leave."
With that, Vincent didn’t spare Paros another glance.
He stood up and walked away.
Outside, male attendants entered and made a polite please gesture toward Ethan and Paros.
Seeing Vincent dismiss them so decisively, Ethan looked at his lord—who was still seated—feeling torn.
"Lord Paros... perhaps we should head back for now. Female Rory may still be angry with you. How about we wait until she cools down before coming again?"
As he spoke, Ethan picked up the black crystal Vincent had tossed onto the table earlier and handed it to Paros.
The moment he held it, his heart jolted. His lord claimed he didn’t like Female Rory. Claimed he never wanted to bond with her.
And yet—
The soul core was sealed inside this black crystal. This was equivalent to placing his life directly in her hands.
A dragon’s soul core was condensed from mental energy. A dragon could only form it once in their lifetime.
If it were destroyed, the mental sea would be violently damaged.
Thankfully, Female Rory was kind-hearted. Even in anger, she hadn’t ordered Vincent to crush it outright—otherwise, his lord would have been crippled if not killed.
Paros took the black crystal, stood up, and tossed it back onto the table.
"Let’s go back."
Ethan was speechless.
Just like that? Throwing away the soul core? Had he lost his mind?
Ethan hurriedly picked it up and followed Paros out.
Even if his lord wanted to leave the soul core with Female Rory in this way, Vincent might not even pass it on.
That man had a dark heart.
If it were Yuel instead, Ethan was certain—Yuel would have crushed the soul core without hesitation.

Rory woke up in the afternoon.
After waking, her blood and vitality had recovered, and she felt refreshed and energetic.
Seeing that Rory was awake, Jasper brought over the clothes Vincent had just had delivered.
"These are beautiful," Rory said, looking at them.
The fabric shimmered softly, as if it carried its own gentle glow, and felt incredibly smooth. Once she put them on, they were light, flowing, comfortable—and elegant.
"These were sent over this morning," Jasper said honestly.
"Vincent personally chose them. They’ve all been cleaned and prepared."
Rory looked down at what she was wearing. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
"Vincent has really good taste."
Much better than Yuel.
"Of course," she added smoothly, "my Jasper has good taste too—out of all those clothes, you picked the one I like best at a glance."
Rory was a professional at balancing the scales.
Jasper suppressed a smile and helped her tidy her hair. "Rory, you don’t need to flatter me like this. I’m not that petty. I won’t get jealous over something like this."
Male possessiveness was strong—every one of them wanted the Female Master’s exclusive affection.
But that possessiveness was never directed at her. It was aimed at rivals instead.
"I knew my Jasper was the best."
Rory kissed him on the cheek.
"By the way, Jasper—I forgot to tell you this morning. When you advance in rank, I was thinking of preparing some of my blood for you. Don’t worry. I’ll control the amount carefully. I won’t hurt myself."
She looked at him seriously.
Jasper was deeply moved by her intention, but he couldn’t accept it.
"Rory—if you give me your blood when I advance... Then what will happen when Nix advances? When Yuel advances? Will you give them your blood too? And when other suitors arrive—if they also want to bond with you... When they advance, will you cut yourself for them as well?"
"I..." Rory was caught off guard by his questions. She had, in fact, thought about it that way.
She knew her blood was precious. She also knew this approach wasn’t right.
But once something began, it was hard to know where to stop. Give to one but not another—it would always be unfair.
At first, when she’d given Yuel a drop of blood, it hadn’t been intentional. Later, she hadn’t known his true identity and thought he was just a silent divine tree.
After he awakened, it felt like no big deal to give a little more.
She’d fed Vincent her blood because they were bonded—because through the beast mark, she could clearly feel his love.
She could even decide his life or death through it.
As for Jasper, it was because she trusted him.
"Rory," Jasper said softly, "I know you’re good to me—to all of us. We love you, and you want to love us back in the same way."
He understood exactly what she was thinking. "But love was never meant to be fair. We don’t need this from you. We just need you to be well."
"If all of us had to rely on your blood to advance," he continued quietly, "then how would we be any different from the Golden-Winged Roc clan that once persecuted human females?"
His words struck Rory hard. Jasper knelt on one knee in front of her.
"Rory, I can advance through my own efforts. Trust me—just once. All right?"
Rory nodded. "I trust you, Jasper."
She had been wrong. She’d only thought about how good they were to her—and wanted to return that goodness.
But some things couldn’t be measured that way.
Thankfully, Jasper had stopped her in time.
Knock, knock, knock.
There was a knock at the door, and then Vincent’s voice followed.
"Rory, it’s time to prepare dinner."
Vincent had never cooked before. He didn’t know what Rory wanted for dinner and needed to learn on the spot.
Jasper stood up and took Rory’s hand. "Rory, I want to learn how to cook dinner with you too. We can’t let Prince Vincent handle the kitchen alone forever."
If he learned to cook, he could make meals for Rory anytime. Jasper wasn’t about to miss such a chance to show initiative.
"Then I’ll teach you both," Rory said.
The more the merrier!

Meanwhile, outside the room.
Seeing Rory and Jasper come out together, Vincent smiled at Rory. "Rory, Jasper hasn’t chosen his room yet. Let him pick one first."
"No need," Jasper replied directly.
"The rooms closest to Rory are already taken by Nix and Yuel. I’ll just choose the room right behind theirs."
That way, he’d still be close to her.
Vincent didn’t reply.
This one really was too idle.
"Then let’s go make dinner," Rory said, pretending not to hear Vincent’s attempt to send Jasper away as she headed for the kitchen.
Jasper immediately followed.
Vincent walked behind them, watching Jasper’s back, a faint smile tugging at his lips.
Since he’s so free...
Looks like tonight is a perfect time to make him start cultivating seriously.
