Chapter 72: Chapter 72: Wolfmen Meeting

With the creation of the First Bride, Dracula had gained even more authority toward the Undead.

Carter wasn’t simply just a character without roots anymore. He had a home base and his underlings worked for him.

Carter was sitting on his bed with Delilah laying peacefully next to him. Her newly regenerated skin was as smooth as butter.

Carter gently caressed her in her sleep.

’Thomas and Eleanor are a force within the human society. I can construct a secret vampire society within Luandon through them. Additionally, they can provide the wealth that I’m missing in this world. As for Delilah, she will be the one who builds my own Undead Force.’

Delilah and Philip could make their own children. Delilah already had her own Undead. Philip absorbed the remaining Undead that Harry left behind.

’Everything is going according to plan.’

Carter stood up and looked at the distasteful bedroom.

’This White Castle is hideous though. The place of the Dracula’s bride needs to be better.’

He began reconstructed the White Castle and the Field of Ghosts right after he turned Delilah into his bride. With Thomas and Eleanor providing the money for materials, and the Undead in the Field of Ghosts as workers, the new City of Ghosts quickly came to fruition.

Delilah’s Undead Control grew much more powerful after she became a vampire. She turned a few of her loyal lieutenants into vampires also and they helped her control the Undead.

Thomas turned a brilliant architect into vampire and sent him to the City of Ghosts to supervise the construction. Everything went smoothly without any hiccups.

Meanwhile, the people of Luandon were wondering where the famous Dr. Frankenstein had gone. He had disappeared for months.

The Institute already gave a statement that the Head of Surgeons was going on a research trip, which was his excuse before leaving them as well.

The vampire population slowly became more and more crowded. They became the fourth Pure Blood branch in this world. They called themselves Dark Blood, a variation from Black Blood and their former name Dead Blood.

The Wolfmen caught smoke of what was happening with the Undead. They heard many rumors.

The true master of the Undead had returned. They were capable of making new Undead quickly and with very little side effects. This had always been the obstacle that stopped the Pure Blood from creating more of their kind.

Corruption might turn any living being to the Mindless Variation. Only a few of them survived and became the Pure Blood.

Vampire circumvented that and every faction wanted to know how they did it.

The Wolfman Tribes were separated. But they had to admit that the fourth Pure Blood was becoming a problem. The tribes agreed to join forces together to stop this new faction.

In the woods, all the big factions of Wolf Blood joined together for a meeting.

There were the Grayson, a tribe of gray fur wolf with the biggest pack amongst Wolfmen.

There were the Ashborn, a tribe of Wolfmen that worshiped the Fire God.

There were the Manley, a rather influential tribe operating around the capital of Anglas.

And of course, there were the Farrow, the tribe that Carter had come across before.

"I see all the Alphas have gathered here today." The Alpha of Grayson spoke. He was a muscular old man with a gray head of hair. "You must know that we are here to discuss about these ’vampire’. Their number has grown too quickly. If they decide to attack us, we will be doomed. our four tribes must stand together!"

All the Wolfmen nodded in agreement.

Suddenly, the Farrow Alpha stood up. He had a visible wound on his arm that was still healing.

"A union is good. But the Manley must answer to their crimes." The Farrow Alpha said. "They hurt my people. And they hurt me when I came to ask them for an answer. There must be justice."

The Manley Alpha stood up, "Answer? Ridiculous. Your boys came to our territory first. It’s lucky we let them live."

"Since when does that district of Luandon become your territory?"

The two Alphas barked at each other.

"Enough!" The Grayson Alpha growled loudly. "This is not the time for conflict. If the vampire wins, there won’t be even any territory left for us to fight."

"But..." The Farrow Alpha said.

"I said enough! We can deal with this later once we deal with the vampire."

The Manley Alpha smirked and sat down.

The Farrow Alpha clenched his fist. He didn’t want to. But he kept his mouth shut and sat down anyway.

They didn’t know that a small bat was standing on a tree branch nearby eavesdropping on everything.

_’The Wolfmen isn’t united... I do want some Wolfman skin shards.’

If they’re stupid enough to attack the City of Ghost, he would gladly decimate them. However, there was an issue with that.

As powerful as the Pure Blood were, they were still the minorities in this world. Carter didn’t want to expose the existence of vampire to the human society yet. Not unless he was sure he could ignore them completely.

’The power of human cannot be underestimated. I heard that some inventor had already created a revolver overseas. If all Anglas has their hands on the revolver, the tide of power may change.’

Anglas was still using flintlock pistol and rifle. The revolver was a generation of firearm advancement. Carter obviously didn’t worry about those weapons harming him. He didn’t even scare of automatic rifles in Terrorstate, there was no reason he would be bothered by revolvers.

But his underlings and bride may suffer. Carter was beginning to have a hold on this world. He wasn’t willing to let go of it yet.

’Since they all gathered here for me. It would be a waste if I don’t teach them a thing or two.’

The Terror Bat flew away.

Carter found a secluded area to land and changed his skin.

[ELDRITCH SKELETON KNIGHT EQUIPPED]

The skeleton reappeared with the purple cloak around him.

’It’s time to test the power of this baby.’

The skeleton walked toward the Wolfmen Tribes hungry for war.
