Infinite Range: The Sniper Mage-Chapter 258 - : The Things Are Nice, I’ll Take Them!
"Bad news, he’s escaped!"
Skyslasher and Ivy exchanged a glance. As old rivals of the Godslayer guild, they knew just how terrifying a figure Triple Crown winner was. At that moment, only one thought dominated their minds—run!
Even though there were thousands of main fighters from the eight guilds around, just the thought of Orson’s terrifying magic made it hard for them to even consider fighting him.
"Dammit, turn the Demon God Flag in a different direction! Don’t let him escape!" EclipseRider shouted.
He tried to reorient the Demon God Flag to trap Orson and his dragon again.
"But Boss, it’s still in cooldown! We need five more minutes before we can reset it!" A mage quickly reported, causing EclipseRider to freeze in place, caught off guard.
"You can’t reset it, right? Didn’t you check the instructions before you bought the pay-to-win items?" Orson mocked with a smile.
The Demon God Flags were incredibly powerful in large-scale guild battles. Even if you only had four out of eight flags, their effects were deadly. But there was a catch. Once activated, the Demon God Barrier had a five-minute cooldown, and it needed coordination with the other guilds’ flag bearers to be repositioned and reactivated. Moreover, once the flags were deactivated, they entered a special state where they couldn’t be recycled, meaning if a player died while holding them, they’d drop them entirely.
"Don’t worry, I’ll be the one to rule this world, this city," Orson said casually, his calm voice sending a shiver down the spines of everyone present. The eight major guild leaders paused in confusion, unsure if he was being arrogantly reckless or if he truly had absolute confidence. But whatever it was, it radiated an undeniable dominance.
Crimson Lizard King flapped its wings and slowly rose into the air, its blood-red eyes full of disdain and cruelty. Orson’s gaze flickered, and the Chaos Six-pointed Star appeared, his hand moving down toward the flag bearer: "Awaken · Grip of the Underworld!"
His magic doubled in size.
A massive, shadowy hand materialized in the air, casting a shadow that quickly spread over the battlefield. The members of the [Sword of Inquiry] guild, stunned, looked up...
EclipseRider: "Is this really happening? Are we being treated like flies?"
His eyes shifted from greed to fear in an instant. Despite wearing ultra-luxurious gear, he knew he couldn’t survive a hit from that hand!
Boom!

The King of the Underworld unleashed its power, and the earth trembled, the raised ground sinking into the depths, the whole area shaking violently. The [Sword of Inquiry] flag bearer and over four hundred players were flattened into the ground!
"Your stuff is nice, so I’ll take it," Orson said with a loud laugh as his Heavenly Fire Staff swirled. He stepped forward and snatched the flag from the stunned players.
The pay-to-win items in Infinite Dimensions were powerful but came with drawbacks, often serving as shortcuts with significant limitations.
"Just a little more..." EclipseRider muttered, his face pale and throat dry. If he hadn’t reacted quickly enough and used a skill to block, the debris from the Grip of the Underworld would have killed him.
Skyslasher: "I knew it, damn it! These idiots still didn’t listen to me!"
Ivy: "I just wanted them to show some strength, I never told them to die for it!"
"Dammit, Dragon’s Kiss Guild, why are you running?! Get your people over here to support us!" EclipseRider shouted, his fury mounting.
Looking behind him, two riders were speeding away, their horses galloping at a pace so fast it was astonishing.
The battle leader cursed angrily, muttering under his breath, "These damn fools!"
The eight sages were so arrogant that they wouldn’t listen to anyone except Usher. Now, thanks to their arrogance, they had let the freak escape the barrier and gifted him their equipment!
"Bad news! He’s going for the flag!"
CrimsonTiger snapped back to his senses, urgently ordering his guild’s flag bearer to run. The Demon God Flag was worth millions of gold. Losing it wouldn’t break the guilds, but just handing it over so easily would definitely hurt!
"Too late. You were eyeing the meat in my pot, but I was already eyeing the delicacies in your bowls. Interesting," Orson said with a grin.
From the moment the Demon God Flags appeared, Orson had already treated them as his personal property.
"Earthquake!"
The Dragon Curse spell erupted!
The ground heaved as a stone dragon slammed down, blocking the flag bearer’s path. Orson teleported again, raising his staff and launching three Chaos Magic Balls at the rider on a land dragon, blowing him up. He picked up another flag with a damage reduction effect.
"We’re in trouble! We’re in big trouble!" RedPhoenix, the female sage, screamed.
With a shout, RedPhoenix led a group of knights to protect the flag bearer, but they were met with the furious wrath of the Crimson Lizard King.
Doom Dragon Breath!
The fiery dragon’s breath swept across the battlefield, instantly incinerating over twenty knights, leaving nothing but a turtle-shaped flag behind. Orson scooped up another million-coin flag!
Crimson Lizard King roared again, summoning a rain of fire. Dozens of fiery meteors appeared in the sky, bombarding the area where the guild’s flag bearers were. The players were blown apart, unable to mount any meaningful resistance.
"I really appreciate the gifts you’ve given me. I’ll remember your generosity!" Orson chuckled, his voice brimming with mock sincerity.
Skyslasher, frustrated to the point of bloodlust, cursed: "A bunch of idiots! What good could come from cooperating with these people? Damn it!"
Facing the massive wealth that was being thrown his way, Orson had no reason not to accept it. After all, this was a lavish gift from the eight sages!
In less than a minute, Orson flashed around the battlefield like a wolf among sheep, stealing no fewer than seven Demon God Flags.
Though these flags had many drawbacks in skilled hands, they were still worth a lot. Used in the right scenarios, they could be very powerful.
"Activate the teleportation array, retreat!"
TitanBreaker, his face dark and grim, cast a quick glance at Orson, who was now surrounded by flags. Two rare space mages from his guild joined forces and summoned a precise teleportation array.
TitanBreaker, cautious and low-key, had always kept the flags in his own hands, unlike the others who distributed them to different players.
He turned and entered the light screen, determined to escape with the flag.
Orson’s eyes narrowed with intent, and he sneered: "I’ve been watching you for a long time. How could I let you leave so easily?"
TitanBreaker: "Don’t get cocky just because you’re winning for now. You might have a head start, but that doesn’t mean you’ll win in the end."
TitanBreaker quickened his pace, trying to retreat with the flag.
Orson’s body emanated a blue glow as the Wind Elemental Goddess appeared, ready to strike. He raised his hand to cast: "Awakened · Hurricane Spear!"
TitanBreaker’s expression changed drastically. His gray robes flared, his hair flying in the wind as he pulled out an eerie staff made of skulls, shouting: "Awakened · Ninefold Underworld Shield!"
Nine demonic gates descended from the sky, like vengeful spirits blocking TitanBreaker’s front.
Orson raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised. "B-class awakened dark magic? This could severely weaken my magic attacks."
TitanBreaker might be ranked 100th on the Leaderboards, but in actual combat, he was far stronger, probably within the top 50. The Leaderboards only reflected potential, not real combat effectiveness.
"Do you really think the gap between you and me is just 98 places?" Orson chuckled, a knowing smirk on his face.
"This is the limit of the Leaderboards, not my limit," he added, and with a sharp command, his Hurricane Spear suddenly veered off course.

TitanBreaker’s face went pale as the spear streaked toward him. He barely had time to react.
"Mirror of Folding."
With a quick flick of his fingers, the Hurricane Spear redirected itself and appeared behind TitanBreaker, striking him at high speed.
"Wh—what!?"
TitanBreaker could only watch helplessly as the spear tore through him, and in a split second, he was defeated.
Orson calmly walked over and picked up the flag. He looked around at the remaining players and said, "Anyone want to go back to town quickly? I’ll give you a free ride."
