Chapter 133: Pompo Administrative Region

Amber nodded in understanding. Her task was to protect the 17th group’s team before reaching the Pompo Administrative Region.

Before reaching the Yixia Border, the mage group was required to arrive at the administrative region.

She and Rachel flew away from the place, flying through the window of the VIP room following the direction of the Horse Carriage carrying Neil’s group.

Neil turned around, his heart smiling as he saw two of Aiden’s team coming to their aid from behind. They were Amber and Rachel.

"Thank goodness they’re back," Neil said, Allana smiling in relief at the reinforcements coming from Aiden’s team.

Instead of continuing to fly above the carriage, Amber and Rachel flew far and fast ahead, their purpose not to guide the direction of the carriage, but to protect them from the threats ahead, especially from the small group of bandits.

Neil looked ahead and clearly saw that Amber and Rachel had left them. Just like before, the two of them must have been assigned to destroy the small group of bandits.

Aiden turned his head, looking at Aurora who was ready with her ice-blue armor. Her gaze was stern, a clear sign that she would help Aiden eliminate the small bandit group.

"Are you ready?" asked Aiden, Aurora smiled and nodded, more ready than anything.

The man nodded. The two of them flew out of the place by flying through the window of the room, following in the footsteps of Amber and Rachel’s flying magic. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

Aiden could clearly see where they were and how their magical abilities fluctuated.

That way, Aiden and Auroa could find their whereabouts easily. According to Aiden, Amber and Rachel were fighting against a small group of bandits.

Just as Aiden had expected, he clearly saw that Amber and Rachel were fighting relentlessly against the small group of bandits. Even so, they seemed helpless against Amber and Rachel.

Not many of them could defeat Amber and Rachel’s group, not even one of them could do that. However, it was certain that the two girls had no trouble fighting them.

Their limbs were scattered, their internal organs scattered all over the road to the Pompo Administrative Region.

When Aiden arrived, he saw clearly that they had killed the entire small group of bandits in the area.

Amber and Rachel turned around, smiled and greeted Aiden gently. He told them that he and Rachel had killed the entire small group of bandits left in the area.

Now, there was no longer any threat to their lives, especially the 17th Mage Group. Aiden smiled happily at that.

"Now, we just need to go to the Pompo Administrative Region," Aiden replied.

Amber and the others nodded in understanding. They would do as Aiden had told them. Without having to wait for them, Aiden and his team left the route to arrive at the Pompo Administrative Region.

From a distance, the administrative region was much more distinct than other regions. It was called an administrative region because of their strict guards and systems that allowed one to enter.

Aiden and his team landed right in front of the eastern gate of the Pompo region.

The place had at least three different gates, the northern gate connected to the trade route, the eastern gate connected to the southern route of Dourstad City, and the western gate connected to the route of Annan City.

For Aiden, they arrived in the city and met with the guardian of the east gate. Because of the frequent tensions in the place, the soldiers’ attitudes and responses were different, more tense and more serious.

"Who are you? What do you want?" the guards asked, curious.

"We are the bodyguard team of the 17th Mage Group. We’ve come because we’ve finished killing bandits along the southern route of Dourstad City," Aiden replied.

The guards looked at each other, curious as to what was going on. Still, the rules had to be enforced. They were only welcome to enter if they had a messenger group token.

In this case, Aiden’s group did not have one. The only group that had the token was Neil’s group.

"Can’t enter. No token, no entry," the guard soldier replied, much to Aiden’s annoyance.

Having no other choice, they settled for waiting in front of the east gate and staring ahead, again waiting for Neil’s group’s carriage to arrive.

Again, Neil and the others looked shocked at the many human corpses strewn about the place.

From severed heads, lacerated arms and legs, to all of their organs being ripped out.

The two summoners who were disgusted by the sight chose to turn their faces away and cover their mouths, they really felt sickened by the horror that happened.

"Damn Aiden! I already told him to get rid of the bodies," Allana replied.

"Looks like Aiden and his team killed them all. That’s impressive," Neil explained.

"Where are they now? I don’t see them in this place," Allana said.

"It looks like they’ve arrived in the Pompo Administrative Region," Neil replied.

Allana nodded. The horse-drawn carriage carrying them continued to drive away from the area. From the front, they slowly began to see a large black castle filled with guards on standby.

That was the Pompo Administrative Region!

From afar, they saw that Aiden and the others had arrived at the place.

The two teams met again and smiled at each other. Neil again praised Aiden’s impressive skills. He and his team managed to defeat many bandit groups along their journey.

"So, you’re their core team?" asked the soldier guard.

"Yes. I’m Neil, 17th mage group leader," Neil replied.

"Show me your messenger group token," said the guard soldier, Neil nodded in understanding.

He pressed his magic pouch and showed the messenger group token to the guard soldiers. They looked seriously, then nodded in understanding of what they were showing. The messenger group token indeed belonged to the 17th mage group.

There was no reason for them to refuse their arrival. The guard soldiers validated the token and agreed to their proposal.

The 17th Mage group led by Neil entered the Pompo Administrative region. Aiden’s group followed close behind.

When they passed through the gates, they saw that the castle and other buildings were made of deep black marble, creating a mysterious feel to the place. The Aiden Group’s task officially over, they had successfully escorted Neil’s group to the Pompo Administrative Region, close to the Yixia border.

"Thank you for your help. From this moment on, you won’t have to help guard us anymore," Neil replied.

Aiden smiled, honored that he could help Neil and his team members to safety. By becoming an escort group, they could at least come to the Pompo Administrative Region and have a chance to meet Gerard’s team of knights.

Neil and Aiden’s teams parted ways at that place. They went in different directions from each other, Neil’s team went to the mage command room while Aiden’s team went to check elsewhere.

"What should we do now?" asked Joe.

"We need to find Gerard’s whereabouts. I’m sure he and his team are in this place," Aiden replied.

"Do we need to split up to find them?" asked Aurora.

"If you don’t mind, then we should split up," Aiden replied.

"If you find Gerard’s Knight Team, bring them back to this place immediately," Aiden explained.

Amber and the others nodded. They scattered all over the place to find the whereabouts of Gerard’s Knights. However, they had trouble finding them. That annoyed Aiden.

They didn’t know where to look for Gerard’s team. It was possible that their team had been sent beyond the borders on a special mission against the Xiliang Kingdom’s forces.

A soldier approached Aiden’s team, asking about their identities. Aiden clearly said that he and his team were searching for the whereabouts of the Knights of Gerard’s team.

"What are you looking for them for?" the soldier asked.

"There’s something that needs to be done to them. I need them," Aiden replied.

"Hmm... I know their last location beyond the border, but that’s all I know," the soldier replied.

"Alright. At least, I can find out where they are," Aiden explained.

After thanking him and saying goodbye, they stepped onto the border of Yixia. The distance from the Pompo Administrative Region to that place was about half an hour, and Aiden and his group could see many people arriving; they were border guard soldiers.

They turned their faces and looked at Aiden intently. They were shocked to see a group with colored armor approaching the Yixia border. They were not the soldiers they had expected.

"I don’t know what they’re doing, but guarding Yixia’s borders is no joke. It can’t be done by just anyone, let alone new people like them."

"Let it be. If they do this, I can be sure that they’ll die."

Aiden listened to their words, but it did not make his heart flinch. No matter what, he had to go beyond Yixia’s borders to search for the Knights of Gerard’s team.
