Chapter 201: ...You are heavy

They exist for one purpose alone: to be trampled into dust beneath the boots of those strong enough to stand above them...For that, is the law of the worlds."

Although he said, seeing this side of her, Rahu’s heart tightened; it was as if an invisible force squeezed it, stifling his breath. That sensation was awfully uncomfortable.

The storm of souls and screams did not vanish.

The souls still howled and screamed at her...still accusing her.

But right that instant, something shifted. Yveline’s trembling gradually slowed. Her finger, which had been clutching her head, loosened. Her breathing slowly became steady.

Rahu smiled when he saw this. He could have directly devoured the souls present here. But he didn’t, because this was the first woman he respected. It would be more cruel to her than helpful.

He stood there beside her, tall and unwavering. His presence shielded her like a pillar driven into the void itself.

The souls screeched again.

"Monster!"

"Traitor!"

"You don’t deserve love!"

But this time...Yveline did not roar back. She slowly lowered her hands from her head.

Her pitch-black eyes began to flicker and glow. Then...

She laughed! It was faint at first, then it grew slightly hoarse.

The laughter echoed across the entire mental world; it was sharp and...confident. And for the first time in centuries. Yveline looked up to the souls with a smirk on her face.

"You are right, I have killed you." Her voice was calm, no longer trembling.

Her gaze rose as the lifelessness within them began to fade, replaced by something far colder.

"Yes, I choose power," Her lips curled upward.

"If I truly regretted it...I would have died with you. Now, if you’d please get lost? I have already embarrassed myself enough in front of my man." Her body started to glow in a green light.

She spoke, her voice playful, and before she could do anything. Rahu’s voice echoed.

"Leave it to me," Rahu said, raising his hand, he muttered lightly.

"Infernal Soul Devouring"

And in front of Yveline’s stupidified gaze, from Rahu as the center. Pitch-black clouds began to rush from him.

They were slow at first, but as the seconds passed, they grew. Slowly, it began to spiral.

Yveline gawked at this scene; she got chills just by looking at that cloud.

The souls reacted instantly, their screams erupting in fear.

But the black clouds were like emotionless predators. The pierced through the cyclone slowly began enveloping them,

Wherever they moved, the souls were swallowed...Devoured whole.

Their shrieks distorted into echoes before being dragged into the cloud.

"We were wrong!!!"

"Spare us!!!"

"We are your clan!!!"

Rahu smirked when he saw this, "Next time, you’d better not bitch in front of my wife."

Just like that, the black clouds swallowed the entirety of souls before going back into Rahu.

Yveline watched this in silence, his earlier words still echoing in her mind. Looking around, she watched the world with stunned silence. The centuries of mental torment, endless accusations were all erased...in mere moments.

Rahu exhaled lightly.

Crack!!

A thick crack formed and spread throughout the sky. Then, like a plate of glass shattering, it began to break.

A second later, the world cracked!

BOOM!

...

Rahu snapped his eyes open, seeing the familiar sky. He took a deep breath as his consciousness returned. Then he felt something incredibly soft and...warm.

He blinked. Yveline was still in his arms, and the next second, her eyes fluttered open. For a brief second, they both stared at each other.

Then.

"You’re heavy."

Yveline spoke, looking into his eyes.

Rahu’s brow twitched when he heard that. Looking down, he saw that his entire upper body was on top of her stomach. It seems the positions were switched during the fall.

Shaking his head, he slowly got up. Dusting his clothes, he looked at Yveline.

"Care to explain?"

"I would, but it’s a long and boring story."

"Nothing is boring about you."

"...O-Ok, bastard. How long do you plan to butter me?" Yveline asked, and for the first time in centuries. Her cheeks flushed.

"For as long as I could," Rahu smirked,

"...Thank you." Yeline looked at Rahu and spoke in an unusually soft voice.

"Hey, thanks are all nice and good, but you gotta show some sincerity. How do you plan to thank me?"

Rahu teased as he pulled her hand to hold her in his arms. Yveline’s cheeks flushed further.

"I can...give you anything you want."

Hearing her words, Rahu smirked. "Shall we go to your residence first?"

"With pleasure"

Saying that, Rahu waved his hand, and both of them disappeared. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

...

Inside the courtyard of Yveline’s residence.

It was nighttime, and the moon’s gentle light soothed the present souls living on the continent.

In the middle of it stood figures. Standing face to face.

"Yveline...I want you to dance. Dance only for me," Rahu whispered in her ears. Yveline looked at Rahu strangely before nodding.

Separating himself from him, Yveline stepped back, turning around, and she walked forward a few steps. Swaying her hips deliberately for his debauched eyes.

For a second, she stood still, as though recalling some melody. The wind blew past her figure, and her dress changed. It had been replaced by a far more revealing dancer’s dress. Her flat stomach was bare, faint abs visible beneath the moonlight. Both of her arms were completely exposed.

She moved.

Her first step was slow as her bare feet graced the unworthy land across the courtyard. Her arms rose gently, and her wrists bent delicately with her finger unfurling like the soft petals of a midnight flower.

Her eyes never once left Rahu, the corner of her lips curled up slightly as she watched his stunned expression.

She turned gracefully like flowing water, the hem of her dress swaying, revealing her thick, meaty thighs.

Each of her steps carried the intention of impressing Rahu; she advanced, then retreated. Her body swayed in precise control.

Her hips rolled again, a bit deeper this time. She stepped forward...once, twice. Each of her steps was measured, closing the distance between him, her fingers threaded through her hair strands, lifting them a bit only to let them fall again.

Rahu’s eyes were glued to the cosmic treasure in front of him. A quote couldn’t help but crawl into his head.

"If this is the treasure...No wonder nations go to war for a single woman; some beauties are worth more than worlds combined."
