He was standing near the bed where Sera was sleeping and his figure was looming over her.

Rael looked at her face and then slowly stretched his hand toward her.

"Sleep well, my love," he whispered, as he leaned forward, and his lips were close to her ear.

"I will keep you safe," he muttered, as his lips pressed on her forehead, and he planted a kiss on her skin.

"Always," Just as those words left his lips, Sera’s eyes opened, and she looked at his face.

"Hmm," she hummed, "What are you doing in my room?" she asked, as her purple eyes were looking into his blue ones.

"And, why are you kissing me?" She narrowed her eyes, and her tone was slightly cold.

"Hahaha," Rael couldn’t help but laugh.

"Can’t a man kiss his girlfriend good night,"

"Or is it a crime," he smirked.

"Idiot," Sera uttered, and her cheeks were slightly flushed.

"Whatever,"

She waved her hand and shifted her gaze from his face to her blanket, which was covering her body.

"Get out," she ordered, as her lips were pouting, and her cheeks were a shade of red.

"Fine," Rael smiled, he brought his head closer to her face, and his mouth was right beside her ear.

"Good night, my lovely, beautiful, and stunning girlfriend," his voice was low and gentle.

’L-lovely? Beautiful?’

Sera’s face was heating up, and her heart was beating faster.

Her whole body was shivering, and her skin was tingling.

But, after a moment, as he was trying to think, his ears caught the sound of her soft and gentle voice.

"Good night," Sera whispered, and her voice was barely audible. But, somehow, he was able to hear her.

He couldn’t help but grin, as his whole face was filled with a bright smile.

He was happy, and he was satisfied.

He was satisfied, because he had finally gotten Sera to say something nice to him, and he was proud that he could make her blush.
