Immortal in Horror Game: She is the Fortune Teller!-Chapter 47 - 44: Horror Hospital 12 (Bonus)
Is this the greenhouse chamber?
So Rob and Jiang Can are also in a place like this?
Two nurses stopped in front of a greenhouse chamber, and the door of the chamber was opened.
One nurse walked in and did something to the half-human feline inside, while the nurse at the door was responsible for recording data in a notebook.
After finishing, the two nurses opened the next greenhouse chamber.
It seemed like they were collecting some kind of experimental body data.
Josh gestured to Yushi.
Yushi understood and took her in the opposite direction.
This greenhouse chamber was built on the third underground level, but below the third level were countless densely packed levels.
In the countless greenhouse chambers, it was almost impossible to find out where they had been sent.
They could only avoid these two nurses for now and search in other directions.
Josh jumped down from Yushi.
With so many cages, trying to find a person was like looking for a needle in a haystack.
She climbed to Yushi’s chest, bit off three buttons from his shirt, and threw them to the ground.
The missing three buttons on the collar left Yushi’s hospital gown split all the way to his abdomen.
[Oh my God, look what I see!]
[It’s Yushi’s abs!]
[For a moment, I seemed to see a pink little nipple!]
[So spicy!]
[Huff huff, thank you, little kitty, you’re my saving grace!]
[Which streamer is this little kitty! I want to give her some points as cat food!]
[Is this really something I can watch for free?]
Josh was busy divining, not noticing a large influx of point rewards into her live stream, catapulting her to the top of the newcomer rankings.
She glanced at the three buttons, facing up and down differently on the ground, and messaged Yushi in the group chat: [Let’s go down to the 15th floor together, you search up, I’ll search down. Pay special attention to the edge boxes, they might be inside.]
Yushi didn’t ask her why she knew, just nodded.
The captain said to listen to Little Tactician this round.
He listened to the captain.
The two descended to the fifteenth floor, right in the middle of the thirty-floor underground greenhouse chamber.
The greenhouse chamber exuded a faint blue light, making the entire underground greenhouse chamber look like a giant ice cellar, exuding a chilling aura.
The transparent greenhouse chambers were tightly arranged, resembling ice-cold prison cells.
The cold light shone on the transparent walls, reflecting a sharp glimmer.
In the greenhouse chambers lay living bodies, their faces pale, lips turning blue from the cold, each wearing heavy hospital gowns, seeming more like bound prisoners.
A pair of empty eyes stared at the ceiling, their breathing appeared abnormally weak, each experimental chamber was filled with a terrifying ambiance, making one’s skin crawl.
She felt very uncomfortable.
This place gave off a very bad vibe.
She thought for a moment and sent Yushi another message: [If you notice anything wrong, run upstairs immediately.]
Yushi nodded.
The two split up.
Josh, with her kitty steps, jogged past the greenhouse chambers, scanning down one level at a time.
Fortunately, each two levels were connected by stairs, so after each lap, she could go up or down the stairs.
Not having to use an elevator was somewhat convenient.
Otherwise, Josh really wouldn’t know what to do.
The deeper she went, the stronger that strange, uncomfortable feeling in the pit of her stomach grew.
Even though it was a very quiet environment, she inexplicably felt a bit creepy, a sensation of undercurrents surging.
She couldn’t be sure where Yuze had been taken, but since the divination pointed in this direction, it couldn’t be wrong.
Josh kept searching downwards; most of the beings in these greenhouse chambers were asleep, and almost all were facing upwards.
She could easily identify if these people were her teammates.
Continuing down, she suddenly saw a familiar face.
It wasn’t a teammate but a player she saw at the hospital entrance when logging into the game.
He was also locked in a greenhouse chamber, with white fuzz almost growing on his face, resembling the pattern of a tabby cat.
That person obviously saw her too, but didn’t react, just slowly leaned against the greenhouse chamber and sat up, eyes blank and staring at her, gradually showing a smile.
That smile was strange yet familiar.
The surrounding greenhouse chambers and roads started to ripple like water waves.
It’s him!
That monster!
The person in the greenhouse chamber was still smiling, the curve of his mouth like a sharp knife, gradually tearing his face, creating a bizarre and twisted arc.
Josh quickly ran downward.
But the people in the other greenhouse chambers also began to move.
Josh focused her gaze, as if everyone was looking at her, even those in the opposing, upper, and lower greenhouse chambers were all staring at her.
Everywhere she could see turned into rippling water waves, the roads, greenhouse chambers, and the experimental subjects inside all being distorted under the influence of the ripples.
Everything started twisting, as if being compressed and deformed by something.
Everyone struggled to get up, revealing the same eerie smile as the cafeteria chef, staring at her as if watching a dying toy.
In the silent greenhouse chamber, a sudden "click" sound emerged.
Though the noise wasn’t loud, it was exceptionally abrupt, even echoing.
Josh looked in that direction, an experimental subject was actually crawling out of the greenhouse chamber, arduously and twistedly trying to stand up.
It seemed unfamiliar with its body, its posture extremely awkward while attempting to stand.
A crazy smile spread across its face.
The lights of the greenhouse chamber began to flicker suddenly.
The experimental subject’s smile flickered along with the lights.
Without a word, Josh bolted downward.
With each descending level, she could almost see an experimental subject with a sinister smile at the end of each floor.
The deeper she went, the closer the experimental subjects were to the staircase.
Josh cursed under her breath, running down while trying to contact Yushi in the system.
But the messages seemed like stones sinking into the sea; she wondered if Yushi was encountering the same situation.
Finally, upon descending another level, she encountered a grotesque experimental subject at the staircase.
Its throat emitted a "gurgling" laughter, the twisted and manic smile on its face nearly deforming its features.
It slowly raised its hands, thirsty for killing and blood, its eyes openly expressing a desire to tear Josh apart.
Josh cursed again, turned and continued running downward, only to find another experimental subject already blocking the next stair corner.
She quickly ran back, but there was another experimental subject on her way up.
It looked different but wore the same expression.
A pincer attack.
Josh had no way out, 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
She could only slowly retreat to the corner.
The two experimental subjects approached slowly, one moving up the stairs, the other down, both edging closer to Josh in the corner.
Now’s the time!
Josh suddenly dashed towards the staircase, aiming to leverage her size and dart through beneath her opponent’s legs.
The monster was quicker, though, kicking her back to the corner.
Leveraging the monster’s force, Josh drifted back like a rear-driven car after braking, darting down the stairs.
The monsters didn’t expect her to be so agile, so they continued chasing after her as she darted downward.
The monsters were enraged and roared, quickening their pace in pursuit of her.
