Chapter 471: 471. Plan

Dylan and Mark could hear the girls laughing and talking behind them and felt rather helpless.

The two girls didn’t seem to care too much and would only take care of it when these two made any trouble to them. But for both of them, the sooner these people were settled, the better it would be.

They didn’t want to let these people continued to make trouble in front of them like this.

"What do you think?" Mark asked.

"I’ll ask for my uncle for some things." Dylan shrugged. Having a powerful uncle would help him to deal with some things. In any case, all he needed to do was to help his uncle more variety of vegetables because his uncle was having a strong aversion towards potatoes.

For that, he would coax his wife, but Anna usually agreed easily on these things because she also wanted to make their grandfather and uncle stronger and more powerful.

"And what do you want to do yourself?" Mark asked.

Dylan arched his eyebrows and then showed a faint evil smile. "Of course, block their business."

The Davis Family was able to grow stronger because they controlled some part of the business in City A Base. It was also part of their management, but Dylan had messed with them when he dealt with Tara Davis back then.

And after that incident, many people expressed their needs through Mata, which Dylan had heard from time to time.

He has been discussing with Mata to create a ’black market’ to sell other items depending on the needs and also to make the online market again. In any case, he and Anna could work on making the application, a simple one unfortunately because their skills were not very high and the rest would be for Mata to manage.

This cooperation has been talked for some time.

But they hadn’t done it yet.

Now that this has happened, it seemed that Dylan would talk with Anna to make the application. And if they needed help, they could ask for other help.

As long as this made the Davis Family lose money over the trade... everything else would be doable.

"Hehehe...."

Mark shivered when he heard Dylan’s evil laugh. The last time he saw Dylan showed this laugh was when this young man took revenge on their middle school classmates for screwing Dylan.

And that classmate’s situation...

Let’s just say that he didn’t end well and ended up running to Dylan to apologize.

Thankfully, that matter was not very big and everything was settled well. But Mark was sure that Dylan would not end this matter so easily.

"How do you plan to do it?"

"Let’s just say that I have someone who could work for me and do things I want to do but inconvenient," Dylan replied and shrugged.

"Can you protect him if anything happens?" Mark asked.

"I don’t have to." Dylan shrugged. "He had his own ability and means to protect himself because he’s able to operate well so far in the base.

Dylan met Mata by coincidence when he was being troubled and ever since then, they still kept their contact in case it was necessary. And in the past few months when Dylan and Anna were staying in City A Base, they stared to use this connection.

"I see." Mark nodded.

He felt that only Dylan would have such an idea to fight against such a big business on his own. But thinking that Dylan was not the reckless type of person, Mark was sure that Dylan had a good plan to deal with this matter.

In that case, he was not worried.

"And what are you planning to do?"

"Me?" Mark arched his eyebrows. "My position in the military is not that high, but I can still give some suggestion to my father. The Davis Family will have no reach to the military in the slightest bit."

Hearing Mark’s words, Dylan had a guess what Mark was planning.

He chuckled lightly and didn’t talk about this matter anymore.

Having a family who could work together with them was indeed the best because it meant that the burden of the family was not only on their shoulder but everyone in the family. They worked together in order to solve the problem that was presented in front of them.

Besides, why not use their family?

A problem that could threaten their entire family should be discussed together instead of being handled on one’s own.

...

Jake and Brian’s side.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Their luck could be said to be quite bad because they encountered another group of big mutated animals on their way back. These big mutated animals also attacked them for some reasons, causing more casualties.

The end result was that when they returned to the base, there were more and more people who had died in their team.

And they were not the worst.

There was also a team that didn’t return at all because they were killed by the big mutated animals on their way out.

The Davis Family simply recorded their result for the day and then let them get the contribution points and resource they wanted in exchange for these. Since they were working for the Davis Family and had received initial resources, the price for these big mutated animals’ corpses were slightly lower than the market.

But it was good enough for them.

Because if they were only working in the construction team, the amount of contribution point they could receive was lower.

It was simply putting their lives in danger in order to earn money and the amount of contribution points would only increase. The construction work was safe and all, but it would not provide them with a lot of contribution points and only enough for their living for the day.

For ambitious people, it was simply far from enough.

Dylan and Brian received their pay check after handing over the big mutated animals’ corpses and exchanged for some resources.
