Chapter 85: Chapter 85: Graveknit In Action (part 2)

Graveknit didn’t dodge.

It simply raised one arm.

CRACK.

The elder’s fist smashed into the creature’s forearm.

Bone fragments shattered slightly under the impact.

But Graveknit didn’t move.

The elder’s eyes widened.

"What—"

Graveknit’s other arm shot forward instantly.

Several thin bone fragments extended from its wrist like grasping claws.

They wrapped around the elder’s arm.

"Got you," Graveknit said calmly.

With a violent pull, it yanked the man forward.

Then its head slammed forward.

CRACK!

Bone collided with flesh.

The elder’s nose shattered instantly.

Before the man could even scream, Graveknit drove its knee into his stomach.

The impact knocked the air out of him.

Then Graveknit’s arm twisted sharply.

SNAP.

The elder’s arm bent in the wrong direction.

His scream filled the courtyard.

Meanwhile, the other three cultivators attacked together.

One elder swung a long saber toward Graveknit’s back.

The Sect Master charged straight from the front, his palm strike aimed directly at the creature’s chest.

The third elder leapt from the side, aiming a kick toward Graveknit’s ribs.

Three directions.

Perfect coordination.

But Graveknit simply smiled.

Its body suddenly moved in an unnatural way.

Several extra bone fragments extended from its shoulders and back like additional limbs.

The saber struck first.

CLANG.

A bone extension intercepted the blade, locking it in place.

The kick landed next.

CRACK.

The impact shattered a few ribs.

But the ribs immediately began stitching themselves back together, black threads pulling the bones tight.

The elder stared in horror.

"It’s regenerating—"

The Sect Master’s palm strike finally landed.

BOOM!

The impact blasted Graveknit backward several steps.

Dust rose from the ground as the creature slid across the courtyard.

The Sect Master exhaled slowly.

His strike had enough force to crush a man’s chest.

But when the dust cleared...

Graveknit was still standing.

The cracked bones along its chest were already pulling themselves back together.

Bone Stitch.

The Sect Master’s face hardened.

"What an abomination!"

Graveknit rolled its shoulders lazily.

Then it rushed forward.

Its speed was terrifying.

The nearest elder barely had time to react before Graveknit grabbed his throat with one hand.

The man tried to punch free.

But Graveknit’s other arm split into several thin bone strands.

They wrapped around the elder’s arms like ropes.

Then tightened.

CRACK.

Both arms broke instantly.

Graveknit lifted the screaming man off the ground.

Then slammed him head-first into the stone courtyard.

The skull shattered.

The body went limp.

One elder down.

The remaining two elders hesitated now.

Fear had finally entered their eyes.

Even the Sect Master’s expression had changed.

Behind them, Aiden stood quietly near the entrance.

Watching.

Aiden leaned casually against one of the wooden pillars near the sect entrance, his arms folded as he watched the fight unfold in the courtyard.

Dust drifted through the air.

Broken stone scattered across the ground.

Graveknit stood in the middle of the courtyard like some stitched nightmare, surrounded by the bodies of fallen cultivators.

Aiden’s eyes followed every movement.

’What an interesting undead,’ he thought.

Back in his previous life on Earth, when he played the game for years, he had summoned countless undead creatures.

But a Graveknit?

This was the first time he had ever seen this undead species.

The last elder tried to retreat across the courtyard, his breathing ragged, blood running down the side of his face.

"This... this monster...!"

He swung his saber wildly, trying to keep Graveknit away.

But the undead creature simply stepped forward.

Its stitched body moved in strange, unnatural ways. Extra bone fragments extended from its forearms like claws.

The elder swung his blade.

Graveknit caught the weapon with one hand.

Crack.

The bone claws tightened around the steel until the blade snapped clean in half.

The elder froze.

Graveknit tilted its head.

"You are finished."

Before the man could react, bone strands shot out from Graveknit’s arm and wrapped around his neck.

With a sharp pull.

SNAP.

The elder’s body went limp and collapsed to the ground.

Now only the Sect Master remained.

The man was breathing heavily.

His robes were torn, and blood dripped from the corner of his mouth.

But his eyes were still burning with anger.

He stared at Graveknit like he was looking at a demon straight from hell.

"You demonic beings, someone will destroy you all!!!"

Graveknit didn’t answer.

It simply stepped forward again.

The Sect Master roared and charged.

His fists flew like hammers, each strike powerful enough to crush bone.

Several punches landed.

Cracks spread across Graveknit’s ribs and shoulder.

But the damage barely mattered.

Black necromantic threads immediately pulled the broken bones back together.

The Sect Master’s eyes widened.

"Impossible—"

Graveknit grabbed his wrist.

The grip was like iron.

Then its other arm split into multiple thin bone limbs that wrapped around the Sect Master’s torso.

The man struggled violently.

But he couldn’t break free.

Graveknit pulled him closer.

"You fought well," the creature said in its calm, hollow voice.

Then it twisted.

CRACK.

The Sect Master’s spine snapped instantly.

His body fell to the ground like a broken puppet.

Silence filled the courtyard.

For a moment, the only sound was the wind moving through the broken gates.

Aiden slowly straightened.

"Well," he muttered.

"That was faster than I expected."

Graveknit turned and walked back toward him.

Its stitched body was covered in cracks and chips from the fight, but the bone threads were already repairing the damage.

When it reached Aiden, it bowed its head slightly.

"My lord, the enemies have been eliminated."

Aiden nodded.

"Not bad."

Just then.

Heavy footsteps echoed from outside the compound.

A few seconds later, the Carrion Knight walked through the broken gate.

Behind it marched lines of skeleton warriors and bronze-grade undead.

Some of them were dragging corpses.

Others carried sacks filled with coins and valuables.

The Carrion Knight stopped in front of Aiden and lowered its head.

"My lord."

"Report," Aiden said calmly.

"The town has been secured."

"Resistance has been eliminated."

Aiden glanced past the knight.

Through the open gates, he could see smoke rising from parts of the town.

Bodies littered the streets.

His undead soldiers were already moving through buildings, dragging out corpses and gathering loot.

The Carrion Knight continued.

"Our forces are currently collecting all gold coins and valuables."
