I'm Really a Villain-Chapter 1203: Saving the World, The Act Continues
The world-ending palm of Chaos struck down.
In an instant, a deafening “boom” resounded, and the entire formation began to tremble precariously.
"Hold on, everyone! Even if you persist for just one second longer, it will increase our chances of victory,” Mr. Wen shouted.
"Destroy this monster and restore peace to the Divine Continent.
Then we shall all be hailed as the heroes who saved the world.”
Upon hearing this, everyone’s aura grew increasingly powerful.
Someone wielding a sword cleaved through the sea of swords as the Sword Prison descended like Hell itself, cutting through everything in its path.
Another transformed into a bat, their gloomy eyes scanning the surroundings. As their wings spread, countless small bats flew out.
The formation was reinforced once again and stabilized.
"Young Master Xu, hurry up! We can’t hold it off much longer,” Qin Haoshi roared.
Watching Xu Zimei step through the void toward the mountaintop, Chaos seemed to grow even more frantic.
It roared furiously, madly slamming against the barrier.
Blazing heat erupted around it, as though flames consumed its very being.
"Humans, how dare you oppose me,” Chaos bellowed.
"Not one of you will escape; all will face judgment.”
Chaos straightened its massive body, revealing an unfathomably deep vortex spinning at its abdomen.
Within that vortex, lightning flashes and thunderclouds stormed as a dark red torrent surged forth amidst the chaos.
The torrent engulfed everything in its path, enveloping the void as it raged forward.
With a thunderous explosion, the torrent slammed against the barrier, which held momentarily before shattering along with the formation.
Hundreds of figures were sent flying all at once.
With just this one attack, nearly half of the warriors were rendered incapable of fighting.
Chaos strode barefoot forward, stepping out once, causing the Liaobei Sea to erupt into boundless tempests.
Wave after relentless wave surged with roaring ferocity.
A rumbling vibration echoed loudly.
"Block him,” Mr. Wen shouted first.
He struck the ground with his right palm, propelling himself into the sky, suspended in the void.
He chanted an incantation under his breath.
"Rivers and mountains unite, Nine States vast and wide.”
As his voice fell, spiritual energy floated around him, and each word he uttered materialized into tangible forms.
They floated around him.
The righteousness of heaven and earth surged, rippling through mountains and rivers across thousands of miles.
These characters, imbued with Taoist Charm, radiated concentrated Taoist might that descended oppressively.
The void shattered as they pressed down upon Chaos.
"Such petty tricks dare flaunt themselves?” Chaos sneered coldly.
With an enraged roar, its steel-like claws ripped through the Taoist Charm characters, tearing them apart entirely.
"Cease your insolence!” Yin Ruozhuo of Shu Mountain yelled fiercely, standing sword in hand.
Breathtaking Sword Intent crossed the heavens before him.
The Sword Intent cleaved the Firmament in two, directly striking Chaos.
Another deafening explosion rang out.
The Sword Intent dissipated, yet Chaos remained entirely unscathed.
"This monster’s defensive power is truly overwhelming,” Yin Ruozhuo muttered gravely.
Another of the Liu Tao, known as Spear King Wang Te, stepped forward and spoke up: “All Monster Beasts develop intelligence late.
Yet they are naturally born with incredible defensive power. This monster is beyond impenetrable, impossible to contend with.
If it weren’t for this durable flesh, we might still stand a chance.
As things stand, only the Divine Blade can harm it.”
"Then no matter what, we must hold him off. This may very well be our last battle,” Gold King Wei said resolutely.
"Spear Array in the Galaxy!” Wang Te drew his long spear.
The spear’s tip aimed at Chaos, instantly splitting into three spears, their points swirling endlessly with galaxies as starlight surged.
The void appeared to transform into a galaxy backdrop.
"Kill,” Wang Te roared mightily, as Spear Intent soared to the heavens.
The intent coalesced into streaks of starlight, hurtling toward Chaos with speed imperceptible to the naked eye.
The target was none other than Chaos’s eyes.
Though Monster Beasts are born powerful, they have weaknesses—one being their eyes.
Wang Te sought a single decisive blow. Yet, as Chaos’s claws swiped up in retaliation,
The spear, shining like a galaxy streak, was effortlessly swatted aside.
"Hold on a bit longer! The Divine Blade is almost within reach,” Qin Haoshi shouted.
He looked up to see Xu Zimei already at the summit.
"Come down,” Chaos roared, soaring toward the mountaintop.
Its massive form slammed ferociously into the peak, causing the entire mountain to tremble violently.
It seemed as though the mountain might collapse halfway down.
The six figures of the Liu Tao, their eyes bloodshot, rose once more to confront Chaos.
Everyone was already drenched in blood, bearing severe injuries, yet they dragged their broken bodies into one final desperate struggle.
"You bothersome ants,” Chaos snarled in fury, each claw strike falling with the weight of a thousand pounds.
Shattering voids, crashing through boundless waves.
"Fight! Even in death, we find glory,” someone shouted.
"To die as weighty as Mount Tai, returning the Divine Land to its bright heavens, is worth it!”
One by one, figures fell under Chaos’s claws.
Qin Haoshi, charging forward with unmatched determination, exuded a domineering aura as he approached Chaos.
Screaming, he intended to self-detonate to take Chaos down.
"City Lord Qin!” someone cried.
But just as peril loomed, a Heaven Slicing blade light descended from above, exploding between the two.
It halted Qin Haoshi’s self-detonation and sent Chaos flying backward.
"What is…?” The crowd gazed upward.
At the summit, Xu Zimei stood gripping the Divine Blade Tyrant Shadow with both hands, standing tall amidst the Mad Wind.
A fierce Blade Intent continued to rip through the air.
"He’s got it,” someone shouted with joy.
"The Divine Blade! The Divine Blade is ours,” another among the Liu Tao shouted.
"Today marks the end of this monster.”
Xu Zimei stepped into the void from the mountaintop, his expression devoid of joy, his gaze heavy.
He addressed the group, “Something has changed. I’ll hold off the monster—return to Flame Stone City.”
"What’s wrong?” Mr. Wen asked suspiciously.
"This Divine Blade isn’t what I expected,” Xu Zimei said.
"I can’t explain right now. Retreat to Flame Stone City first; I’ll explain when I return.”
The group exchanged uncertain glances before finally nodding.
Of the hundreds who had arrived, only thirty remained. They stepped through the air, leaving no trace upon the waters, vanishing toward the distant horizon.
Chaos grew increasingly enraged, lunging at the fleeing crowd.
But it was firmly blocked by Xu Zimei.
Once everyone had departed, Xu Zimei, sensing no one left within the area, lowered his blade.
He said calmly, “They’ve all gone.”
Chaos chuckled darkly. “How was my performance, Master? I think I did well.”
"Not bad. Prepare for the next step—attack Flame Stone City,” Xu Zimei said.
"Understood,” Chaos nodded slightly, its colossal form vanishing into the vast ocean.
Xu Zimei gazed ahead intently before striking his own body several times.
Fresh blood gushed, mangling his flesh, before he escaped toward Flame Stone City, feigning severe injuries.
…
Three days later, a weary and wounded group escaped from the Liaobei Sea.
