I'm In Love With the Guy I Grew Up With-Chapter 1003: Dabai Is Back 1
Ou Fengyi brought Ning Xixi to the top floor of the Canglan Hotel.
"Isn’t this place off-limits?" Ning Xixi pointed at a sign that indicated no entry, suggesting someone had booked the entire area.
Who could be so extravagant, renting out the top floor must be incredibly expensive. Ning Xixi thought to herself, only to hear Ou Fengyi beside her chuckle softly, "We can enter; I’ve booked it for today."
"Uh... so that’s it."
Ning Xixi didn’t presumptuously think that Ou Fengyi had booked it for her, making Ou Fengyi raise an eyebrow.
This girl is quite interesting.
"Have a seat, would you like something to drink?" Ou Fengyi removed his mask, his chestnut hair highlighting his fair skin, and his brown eyes seemed to be filled with a gentle emotion.
"Water is fine for me." Ning Xixi picked up a cup and took a sip, but due to being too nervous, her hand was unsteady, and the cup tilted, spilling water on her clothes.
Ou Fengyi immediately took a handkerchief for her, "Wipe it off."
"I’ll just use a tissue." Ning Xixi smiled dryly, using the tissues on the table to wipe her clothes and the table, noticing Ou Fengyi staring intently at her.
A flash of inspiration hit her as if she remembered something, and she tapped her smooth, fair forehead, scrolling through her phone’s album to find the artwork she drew for Ou Fengyi, "Take a look, do you like this style? If you’re not satisfied, I can redraw it."
Ou Fengyi glanced over, and although the piece was still unfinished, the composition, color usage, and mood aligned perfectly with his current theme.
Though he approached Ning Xixi with an agenda, he had to admit her talent in painting.
"Nice." Ou Fengyi smiled, "I really like it, truly."
His gaze was so sincere, as if it carried fragments of starlight.
"As long as you like it." Having her idol appreciate her work, Ning Xixi was genuinely happy, "I’ll continue to color it when I get home, and send you the original file via email. If you have any suggestions for changes, feel free to tell me."
"Thank you so much." Ou Fengyi bowed slightly, polite and gentlemanly.
"Oh... it’s no trouble at all!" Ning Xixi waved her hands quickly, blushing, and spoke shyly, "If it’s convenient, could you give me an autograph? Ah no, can you sign a few more?"
"Of course, sure."
Ning Xixi took a small notebook from her backpack, and Ou Fengyi signed page after page with a flourish, stopping after a dozen and chuckled, "Want more?"
"That’s enough!" Ning Xixi’s eyes sparkled, wow, she could show off to You Ran and Xiaoxue!
Ou Fengyi took out three tickets from his pocket, "These are for an ancient style music concert, very niche. If you’re interested, you can come with friends."
Ning Xixi thanked him and took the tickets, exclaiming, "Oh, are you participating too?"
"Yes, it’s not open to the media or fans. The invitees are specially selected," Ou Fengyi winked at her, "I heard your mother is quite skilled in playing the guqin and guquin, and her compositions are well-known in today’s Ancient Wind World."
Ning Xixi awkwardly said, "But... I have no musical knack. I’ve always been terrible at music from a young age..."
"No worries, just showing up is enough."
A young girl’s voice suddenly rang out, "Ning Xixi, what are you doing here?"
