Rayen woke up to a sudden smack in his face. It wasn't just once or twice, but a repeated action. He furrowed his brows and gradually opened his eyes to see Lee Seoha on top of him.

Suddenly, Lee Seoha was tugged away by someone else from Rayen.

Once Lee Seoha was out of the picture, Yeo Haru and Xiu Jiji appeared in Rayen's vision.
"Bro!"
"He's awake," Xu Jiji exclaimed.
"What—" A throbbing pain at the back of his head stopped Rayen from speaking. "Argh..."
Hurriedly, Xu Jiji assisted him in sitting up. "Are you okay?"
"No," Rayen replied while massaging the back of his head.
'Who would be okay after getting assaulted by a lady bull and fainting in the process?'
At the very least, that person wasn't Rayen.
Thinking like this, he glared at Lee Seoha whose nose was fuming in smoke like a mad bull while being barred by Gil from approaching him.
"Where's Son Areum?" she asked.
Rayen responded as he kept massaging the back of his head. "How would I know?"
Lee Seoha kept glaring at him. Rayen glanced at Gil with a questioning gaze.
'Why is this woman asking me about Son Areum?'

Before Gil could even open his mouth, Lee Seoha had already provided him with an answer.
"I sent her here!"
Rayen, Xu Jiji, and Yeo Haru jerked their heads her way.
"You sent her here?" Rayen repeated.
"Yes!" Lee Seoha admitted. "And she disappeared all of a sudden after I did."
All of a sudden, Rayen stood up without a word. Jiji and Haru stood by his side. Their eyes remained on Lee Seoha as Rayen approached her, resentful.
"Why did you send her here?" Rayen asked.
"Isn't it obvious? It's to spy on you."
Rayen didn't stop in his tracks until he was in front of her. "How did you know she would be accepted into the club?"
"Weren't you looking for Unaffiliated Entities like us? So I sent her."
This time, Rayen was slightly shocked. "You're also an Entity?"
"Yes," Lee Seoha admitted.
"....." Rayen's eyes remained fixed on her. "If you knew we were looking for Unaffiliateds, why only make her join us without you?"
Suddenly, Lee Seoha's gaze at him seemed disgusted at the mention of that question.

"....." For a moment, Rayen was speechless. "But didn't you bug me to join the club with Choi Jaehan on the first day?"
"We were just sounding you out back then," Lee Seoha admitted again, but then, she suddenly realized something. "Hmph! Why am I even explaining these things to you? I'm here to ask you about Son Areum! Where did you take her?!"
Her sudden outburst reminded her of Roxie from next door.

Ignoring her attitude, Rayen glanced at Gil.
"Hold her tight, okay?"
"Hmm?" Gil was confused, but he still did as he said.

Rayen raised one of his brows. "You didn't know?"
"She will never do that!"

Lee Seoha gritted her teeth. "Liar."
Rayen was unaffected by her words.
He continued with a voice lower than usual, "Her actions cost someone else's life."
As that sentence left his mouth, Rayen unconsciously clenched his fist. The entire room was bathed in silence. Yeo Haru and Xu Jiji glanced at him from the corners of their eyes.
But Lee Seoha remained steadfast and refused to accept his words.
"Areum would never try to kill someone."
"She did."
"No."
"She did," Rayen repeated.
"No!"
"She—"
"No! Don't talk badly about Areum! Your words are so disgusting! It's making me retch."
"....." Rayen was rendered speechless at her insult.
"Even though we hate you to the bones, she would never try to kill anyone!"
