I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess-Chapter 63: Better Time? (edited)
After that strange encounter with the Catacomb Dweller with the ominous-looking smoke coming out of its empty eye socket, she continued to make her way through the dark Catacomb.
Eventually, stumbling upon a Brawler surrounded by two Dwellers.
’Ah... finally.’ Lillian thought, feeling the boredom within her fading. She clutched the hilt of the sword of water and slowly began to make her way near them.
Of course, that was after making the first move through projectiles.
Streams of water shot through the air at threatening speed, their bodies narrow and like that of a flexible needle that kept its sharpness.
Lillian watched as they twisted their head around, catching a glimpse of the area lit up by her lantern. The two Dwellers seemingly widened their eyes, raising their arms to defend against the sudden attack.

Lillian listened to the androgynous voice of the Jester before the sound of consecutive wet thuds resounded. She moved her eyes towards the Catacomb Brawler.
Its large compound eyes briefly stared down at the punctured bodies of the Dwellers.
Their forearms that were raised to protect their head were completely shattered, pierced by the rapid stream of water that mixed in with the blood and fractured shards of their shells.
It then raised its eyes towards Lillian, staring at her intently while making snapping sounds at her with its mandibles.
Lillian smirked, ’At least I can break through Dweller’s carapace now. Although that is a bit... surprising... Although that is a bit... How about a Brawler then~?’
The two then stared into each other’s eyes. An intense staring contest that was soon broken with the rise of the Brawler’s four arms over its face.
Lillian then watched as it charged at her with hostility.
Its steps resounded like a raging thunder that echoed throughout the Catacombs.
Lillian’s eyes flashed with excitement—excited at the thought of finally being able to put the skills she had trained and gained from the rigorous training she was put through.
She quickly dived out to the side, stretching her sword out towards its stomping legs, shaping it into a whip and wrapping it around its legs.
Lillian expressed disappointment once she saw it snap through the whip. But her face then brightened once her plan of tripping it actually worked.
Hastily pushing herself off the ground, she stood over the fallen Brawler and swung the whip, shaping it back into a sword.
The nearing edge of her liquid blade soon made contact with the rigid carapace on the back of its left arm, which was still unscathed from her strike.
Using its right arm, it pushed itself off the floor towards her, rolling like an out-of-control barrel.

Lillian widened her eyes, shocked at its strange counterattack and backed away, watching as it followed after her before slowing down and getting up.
It snapped its mandibles at her and wiggled its antennas at her mockingly. Possibly making fun of the fact she couldn’t get through its seemingly impenetrable shell.
Lillian’s face twitched at its assumed taunt.
"You better not be mocking me, bug face. Or else I will put a hole through your head..." she then paused for a moment.
"Well... I’m going to do that either way."
Lillian then watched as it charged at her once again, cocking back its arm, twisting its hips around and throwing a powerful punch like a bazooka.
The Brawler then watched as Lillian leaned far back, just narrowly dodging it by a hair length. It stared down at Lillian’s enormous grin and heard her say with a playful tone:
"Oh boy... fight you guys twice and face someone whose speed far surpasses yours for four days straight does wonders."
It then watched as Lillian twisted her entire body around, going around its outstretched arm and standing beside it.
After that, it then watched as Lillian raised her arm, shooting it towards its head like an arrow of a bow before stopping.
A conspicuous droplet of water then formed in the middle of her palm, stretching into a long, narrow staff of water that was soon tightly gripped by Lillian.
The tip of the staff then sharpened, turning it into a spear that snaked its way towards the forehead of the Brawler with brutal precision.
Lillian’s sharp gaze reflected the plan she had formed in her mind. She suspected it would try and catch the head of her spear before counterattacking.
After all, the Catacomb Brawler had never dared to dodge as if its honour would be stained and ruined if it did that—a creature that had to take attacks head-on for those that couldn’t.
However, contrary to Lillian’s belief, the Brawler didn’t catch her spear with its rough hands or block it with its tough exoskeleton... No... instead...
Out of pure instinct and against its own will, it leaned far back, dodging Lillian’s stab—a comical sight due to its large proportions.
Startled and flustered that her predictions didn’t come to life, she quickly had to adapt to this sudden event.
Shrinking the spear into a sword and gripping its hilt with both hands, she swung it down on the Brawler, watching as it placed its hands on the ground behind it.
The Brawler, with surprising core strength, lifted its legs and slammed it towards Lillian’s chest... which was what it wanted to do.
"Huh... they’ve gotten smarter? How troublesome."
It heard Lillian mutter before watching as a droplet of water manifested itself just above its face. Its eyes that saw things in black and white now only saw darkness.
A sight it is quite familiar with.

Lillian stepped back and watched as its kick towards her had lost its power. She then watched as its legs then fell to the ground with a thud.
In the pool of blood leaking through the hole in its head, Lillian’s face reflected back with the help of her lantern—a concerned but interested look was plastered across her face.
"It dodged, huh? Can’t say I am surprised." Lillian tilted her head at it, "It’s either the instinct or intelligence that kicked in." she then thought for a moment before deciding against the latter.
"Nah... I doubt these things can think much other than eating and survival."
Lillian then crouched down to its body, storing it within her spacial ring, "Still! This is the best time I had against these things, I think." she smiled to herself before getting up.
Lillian then stood dazedly, raising her lantern towards the darkness around her before scratching the back of her head.
"So... how am I going to get back?"
She then suddenly felt a pair of arms softly wrap around her neck.
