[Enchantments: None]
"The Active eye of Morbaskor...?" Lillian stared curiously at the eye before reading the last part of the description.
She widened her eyes, "G-gateway! This thing is a Gatebearer!?" She rushed to store the unnerving eye, storing it within her ring and after finding nothing out of the ordinary had happened, she sighed in relief. (12)
"Phew... that was close... I almost had to attempt my second trial. Who knew what could have happened?"
She shivered at the thought, especially since trials were known to be rough. Although she didn’t know what period she would be sent in, she wouldn’t doubt it would be after the Celestial War. (2)
Trials after the Celestial War were most common due to it being the most filled with monsters. Monsters born from the corrupted energies of fallen gods.
Her eyes then flashed with realisation, "I should probably note down some stuff just in case I forget." Her eyes then glanced at the drawers of her desk, "I remember the academy handing out school supplies in these."
She stood up and rummaged through the drawers, eventually stumbling upon one filled to the brim with blank A4 pieces of paper, a notebook, pens, pencils, and whatever that may assist a student in their studies.
She grabbed the notebook. Its black leather cover caused her to see it more as a journal than as a notebook—an overly large journal.
She placed down her notebook and began to scribble down some future events that may take place while also vaguely writing down some smaller events.
She only needed a small idea of what each event was about. She was sure just reading back over again would cause her memories to click back in.
Lillian then spent the rest of the day doing this, eventually heading off to sleep after feeling her fingers go numb from writing.
She fell on her bed, surrounded by her plushies. Her eyes soon grew heavy as she fell into a world of temporary eternal darkness.

Under the mountain of white plushies of her favourite animal, bunnies, she stirred as she felt a ray of light shine onto her eye.
Lillian’s eyes slowly fluttered awake, staring irritably at the open slit in the curtains that let the sun in. (2)
She gave a groggy groan, awakening and causing the mountain of plushies to tumble over her rising body. (2)
Like an avalanche, their soft bodies rolled and fell off the bed, softly bouncing against the ground.
Lillian let out a tired yawn, rubbing her eyes as she stretched her back, feeling and hearing a few satisfying pops. (5)
She glanced around her room, sensing something different before gazing at the mirror that happened to be hanging on a wall facing her.
She smirked when she stared at her reflection. Although her hair was messy, she still gave a silly smile. (11)
"Looking good, Lil..." She complimented herself like a narcissist. (8)
Lillian got out of bed, widened her curtains, and walked to her bathroom, freshening up and preparing for the day ahead.
Whilst she was doing this, a thought appeared inside her mind—a question about what she would do today.
There were countless secrets around the academy realm. Most being easter eggs that gave achievements, though...
Lillian sighed, "The real juicy eggs are within the academy buildings, which I am not allowed in yet." (2)
She would only be able to enter it after being given an item that would display whose class she was in.
Why won’t they let her in, even though she has a student ID? Lillian doesn’t know. The game never went into depth about it.
’If I had a guess... I would assume it’s because they’re suuuper paranoid like hell...’ she thought, putting on her blazer.
Although she could go around in any type of clothes, she felt that being in her uniform would give a good first impression on the teachers who might be wandering around the realm.
And also because...
"It’s super comfy. Isn’t that right, Lillian?" She shaped her hand into a gun and shot towards her reflection with a smirk. (12)
She stared at the mirror, awkwardly awaiting a reply, "Eh... I think being on my own back home had fiddled with my brain... socialising suddenly didn’t help as well..."
She walked towards the exit of her dorm, briefly glancing at the kitchen as she walked by.

"Groceries..."
She clutched the door handle, falling into a deep ponder, "Wait... do I even have money?"
Lillian thought hard, retrieving her memories. She then pulled out her phone, checking the bank app that was illustrated with a sword piercing through a copper coin.
The coin face reveals the side profile of a man wearing a monocle. Lillian recalled the man to be someone named "Cornelius." An individual who, though he had long passed away, still holds power to this very day through the currency he had created and flooded the world with.
She tapped the app, watching as its interface stretched across the screen, revealing a number at the top that was separated in half by a comma.
[100,000 Semi]
Lillian stared at the screen blankly, frozen. The world used a currency called Semi. Her mind calculated at high speed. One semi here was approximately One Dollar and Fifty cents in the real world... so that would mean...
"I HAVE A HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS RIGHT IN MY BACK POCKET!" She exclaimed, falling to her knees as tears seemed to spill out like twin waterfalls. (18)
She gently placed her phone to the side, putting the palms of both her hands together and giving a prayer, "Thank you, god, for letting me take over the body of a rich-ass girl..." (10)
After getting up, her eyes flashed with excitement. She was going to go on a shopping spree. As she widened her door, feeling the cool metal handle on her palm, she suddenly faceplanted into two soft floating pillows.
"Eh...?" With her vision gone, she moved her hand over the soft surface. Her fingers sank into the pillow that was unusually curvy. Did someone suddenly fill the corridor with pillows or something?
She then felt something pushed against her shoulder, removing herself from the odd pillows that smelt rather well, in her opinion, like the smell of a well-grown flower.
Like a rose, for example.
She suddenly froze, slowly raising her eyes towards a pair of dark red ones that stared down at her. Lillian recognised the eyes, especially the face that owned it. (2)
It was Marionette.
Marionette looked down at her with a raised eyebrow, "You really have to stop doing this, Lillian. It’s... inappropriate."
Lillian blushed furiously, embarrassed, "W-well! You didn’t have to grab my waist yesterday!" She retorted. (8)
Marionette nodded, "That’s why I am here. I would like to formally apologise for my inappropriate actions yesterday in the elevator." She bowed, causing Lillian to widen her eyes.
She... came here to apologise for that?
