I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess-Chapter 216: Little Flag?
"Hey, Reph. Do ya know where Red-eyes is?"
Millis looked at the empty seat beside her before turning her gaze towards the Prince.
Reph shrugged as he looked towards the holographic cube at the centre—specifically, the one that displayed Lillian's figure.
"Not... Entirely sure. I did see her leave earlier... Probably to go get something."
Millis rubbed her chin with a worried expression, "Well, she better be quick, ya know? She could miss her girlfriend's performance!"
"... Yeah... Telling the Roselle herself would've did more than telling me, but sure."

Lillian stretched her back, letting out a small moan as she breathed in the "realistic", earthy air of the forest.
Looking around and gazing at the green canopy of the tall trees, she couldn't help but let out an awfully large grin as her fingers twitched in excitement.
She was actually here participating in such a major event, just right before another major one.
She looked up towards the sky, finding a large screen of a timer that counted down from 20.

'Just a few more seconds…' She thought.
Her attention was then drawn from the timer towards a rather annoyed woman.
"Honestly, Vice Rep, why must you put me on something as laborious as Monster Hunting?"
Charlotte flicked her curled blonde pigtail over her shoulder as she hissed a bit. This left Lillian to give her a deadpan expression coupled with a wry smile.
This woman, Lillian and Reph decided, was one of the many nobles in their class. An entitled one at that. In the game, she was depicted to be rather snobbish as she…
"Please don't give me such a look. I'm merely saying that those of lower social classes should be the ones to do such a barbaric task instead of one such as myself."
… Flaunted her social class in society.
In other words, she was an arrogant noblewoman.
Lillian sighed and looked to the side.
'Her ability to manipulate sound will be very helpful… Let's just bear with her…'
She then drew her eyes towards a tall, young man with round glasses. He had black hair and a hint of mystery to him. His name was Norman Bracket.
Lillian blinked at him.
The game depicted him as a relatively quiet individual. While some may say it could be due to his social anxiety, Lillian knew it was because…
'Isn't this guy the edgy one?'
The youth, who had crossed his arms and was looking off to the side, was putting on his silent facade in the name of acting "Cool"...
She then watched as he raised his middle finger to the bridge of his glasses, pushing it up and saying:
"Victory awaits us, comrades… We must move when the time is right."
Lillian facepalmed as she turned her eyes back to the timer, waiting for it to finish counting down. In all honesty, she really didn't think much when putting together this team besides their ability.
Sure, she could've done better.
But…
There was one thing she wanted to know… Could she take on a 3 v 1?
'As much as I want to try, this competition is ultimately about how many monsters we can kill in a set amount of time.'
Turning back to her team, she began devising a brief plan with them.

Millis's eyes darted between the cube that showed Lillian's team and the other. Her attention was then drawn away once she saw someone sit in the empty seat beside her.
"Hm? Oh! Ya finally here, Red eyes?"
Marionette, having finished whatever she was doing, nodded.
"Yes. I see that they haven't begun yet."
"Yep! But there's only a few seconds left until it begins anyway..." She then eyed the Assassin curiously, "So! Could ya tell me what you were doing before coming here?"
She then added, "I doubt that would have wanted to miss out on your girl's big game~..."
Marionette stared at the woman before tucking her hand inside her blazer pocket.
Millis then watched as the woman pulled out a small white plastic stick wrapped in a white piece of fabric.
Marionette unwrapped the stick and revealed to Heroine what was on it.
Millis couldn't help but widen her eyes as she discovered that on the white cloth was an illustration of a rabbit with the name Lillian under it.
"One of the stands outside was making custom miniature flags." She then began waving it around. "I wanted to cheer Lillian on through this way."
"..."
Millis's eyes widened as she stared at her with an incredulous expression.
She then smiled slightly, "Such devotion to ya lover~..."
She then turned away and shook her head, chuckling, "This must be what true simping looks like."
Marionette tilted her head, still adorably waving the flag, "Simping?"
"Hm? Don't know the meaning of that word?" The Heroine raised an eyebrow before grinning, "Well! It basically means—!"
Just before she could explain, the announcer's voice erupted.
"Alright, everyone! May the Monster Hunting begin!"

Lillian's team was located on the north side of the island, whilst the other was on the opposite side, separated by the huge mountain at the very centre.
If Lillian were to recall correctly, the peak of the mountain was around 600 metres off the ground.
It was also at the peak where monsters that had taken on the ability of flight, for example, Avian-type creatures.
If one were to travel further down the mountain, one would find monsters with extremely tough defences.
Currently, their plan wasn't to encounter and defeat these monsters. Instead, they would go to the eastern side of the forest, which was vastly more populated.
This decision would lead them to avoid the enemy team, keeping them safe while they garner points.
Lillian sighed as she ran through the forest, 'Eliminating the enemy team members would also rack up some more points for us.'
She then turned her eyes up into the sky and through the canopies.

"1 point for an E rank, 3 for a D rank, and 5 for a C rank. I remember it's 4 for each elimination."
Just before her mind could wander away, her steps slowed down once she heard the sounds of heavy breathing behind her.
