My companion and I arrive at the feast while using our adventurer equipment but with a fancy cloak covering them. The guard let us in and took us to the ballroom, where I could see a lot of food and drinks on the table.

Some of them are foods we have never seen before. Is that a scorpion? Is that a locust and grasshopper skewer?

I look to the side and see that my companion looks curiously at the food except Silva. She looks at the grasshopper and scorpion in disgust. I cannot blame her. Some people hate those creatures.

The six of us take a seat and enjoy the food and drinks served to us. The first one I want to try is the deep-fried scorpion. It is crunchy and salty. Not bad. It is like eating some chips. I take the grasshopper skewer and eat them. They are not bad, a little bit crunchy, and the texture of the inside of the grasshopper is something new to me. Not only that, there is also a bitter aftertaste from the grasshopper.

They decide to try it and ensure they have a glass of wine in their left hand. I chuckle a little when I see Silva make a funny expression as she chews the grasshopper. She quickly chugs the wine, and I can see her eyes widen after she drinks the wine.
