Chapter 134: Chapter 134: Going to the Capital City

"The potion is easy enough. I can sell them to you in two or three days."

The potions are easy to make. My [Alchemist] skills are at maximum, and I can mass-produce potions.

In Second Life, there is another class that anyone can have, the crafting class. Special crafting classes need to be in the class slot, but the basic crafting class is free to take.

There are four crafting classes in Second Life: [Blacksmith], [Alchemist], [Culinarian], and [Armorer]. Each of these classes has two unique classes that will occupy one main class slot.

[Blacksmith] have [Elemental Blacksmith] and [Curse Blacksmith]. [Elemental Blacksmith] can create a weapon with the elemental’s power, while [Curse Blacksmith] can make a weapon that causes debuff to the enemy.

[Alchemist] have [Alchemist of Life] and [Alchemist of Destruction]. [Alchemist of Life] is the most straightforward; this class can create high-ranking potions and other curing potions that cure many debuffs. [Alchemist of Destruction], on the other hand, does the opposite of the other alchemist class. This class lets the player make a powerful poison and other potions that cause powerful debuff when the enemy touches it. This class is compatible with archers.

[Culinarian] have [Rainbow Chef] and [Hell Chef]. [Rainbow Chef] is the same as [Alchemist of Life], but the difference is that most of its creation will boost someone’s elemental attribute, a perfect job for [Mage] or [Sorcerer], who use mainly elemental attacks. [Hell Chef] can make food that can boost a player’s defense and resistance. They are a great class for Tank or DPS who play as an Off-Tank.

[Armorer] has [Weaver] and [Draconic Armorer]. [Weaver] is a class that can make high-level light armor for magic-type classes. [Draconic Armorer] is a class that lets the player create high-level leather armor and heavy armor. This crafting class is the most straightforward.

I have [Alchemist] at max level, and it lets me mass-produce low-level potions like the one we sell at the apothecary. As long as I have the right ingredient, I can create seven liters of healing potions a day. If I divide it into the right dose for healing injury, I will get around seven hundred bottles of it.

"Perfect. How many of them can you make in three days?"

"You are lucky that everyone here can make them. It should be easy to make sixty of them in three days. We can go to a hundred if we focus on potion making."

"Sixty is good enough. I don’t want to force you. You are a guest, after all. Now, let’s talk about the price."

"Give me an offer."

Because I don’t know how much one potion costs. I know the cost of potions for the people of the South, but I never know about the price for them to be sent to the other territory. My father is the one taking care of it.

I cannot give him the same price as the potions I sell in the South: twenty copper coins. That price is only to cover the price of the bottle and the ingredient. We only take two copper coins for profit for each potion we sell.

Lucky for me, my mother already made sure the potion did not have any side effects other than pissing yourself off if you drank it too much in a day. We already switched all the first versions of the potions with the improved ones. We are lucky no one abused the potion and got cellular death.

"How about three silver coins per potion?"

I hold in my surprise and only offer a smile.

"That is a little bit cheap, don’t you think? Ten and a half Silver Coins."

"And that is a little bit too much for me. Four silver and fifty copper."

"This is a healing potion, you know? It can save your life, literally. Ten silver coins."

"I understand, but the price is a little bit much. We buy more than fifty of them, you know? Six silver."

"How about this? You make the container, and I will let you buy the potion for eight silver each. Take it or take ten silver per potion."

Lord Sarhakan rubs his chin and says.

"What kind of container?"

"Here"

I take the wooden container and give it to him.

"I need to make sure whoever you order makes the exact measurement as the one I give to you."

"Can it be any wood?"

"Yes. You can use any wood. Glass is even better."

"Glass? Are you sure?"

Oh! Why does he look at me like that? Does this continent know how to make glass? Wait! I just remember. The Southern Continent gets its glass from here.

"Yes."

"Then we are in agreement."

"Great! I will start making the potions tomorrow."

"Thank you."

"Anyway, what with the last request?"

"Right! I almost forgot the main reason why I called you here. Ahem! You can start making the potions later. You already know that as a lord of this city, I can directly request something from an adventurer, right?"

"We know. Rawda already explained it to us."

"Good. This will be an A-rank quest that needs to be completed immediately."

"What is this quest?"

"The king knows about your existence and asks you if you can heal his son."

"What happened?"

"The prince has a disease that makes his body release large amounts of blood even from the smallest injury. Not only that, but the prince also suddenly releases blood from his body for some reason. Because of this, the king needs a healer to watch over the prince daily to ensure he does not bleed out."

"Ah, Haemophilia."

I say it out loud as I know this disease. I once saw a young boy have this disease in the hospital before I was stuck in my bed 24/7. He is a bright young boy who always smiles even when blood comes out of every orifice on his body.

"You know this disease?!"

"Yes. This is a lethal disease. Wrong move and the sick will die from blood loss. However, what makes it dangerous is that it can happen if the injury happens to the head or any vital organ. Is the healer there unable to cure him?"

Lord Sarhakan shakes his head and says.

"No. He hires any healer he can find, but no one can heal him. Even the doctor in the palace did not know how to cure him."

"I see. I don’t know if I can cure him if the other cannot do that. They have more experience than me, you know?"

"Can you at least look at it? The other did not know about this disease, but you know about it. That alone I know that your title as Grandmaster of the Gipan Kingdom."

I look at him for a few seconds and nod.

"Very well. I will take a look at it, and if I can heal it, I will do it."

"Thank you, Heir Gwyndolin."

|3rd POV|

A man is sitting on a throne, reading the letter in his hand. After reading it for a few seconds, he releases a sigh and rubs his head.

"Your Highness? How is it?"

The king looks at his prime minister and smiles a little.

"They are coming. The Grandmaster of Medicine of the Gipan Kingdom will come here and look at my son."

The king gives the letter to his close friend and ally. The prime minister reads it for a few seconds and nods.

"That is good to hear."

"However, I don’t know if he can do it. We have been trying for years. However, there is not a single healer and doctor that can cure my son."

"At least he knows what kind of disease your son has. What is it?"

The prime minister looks at the letter and says.

"Hemophilia. That is the name of the disease, and by the description of it, it was the right disease."

"That is the reason why I smile earlier. A little hope appears inside my heart, but I don’t want to have too much hope because it is hurt when that hope is a false hope."

"There is nothing wrong with having hope one more time, your highness."

The king sighs and nods.

"I guess you are right. There is nothing wrong with having one more hope."

After saying that, the king gets up from his throne and leaves the throne room. The prime minister follows him from behind, and they go to the garden, where a group of children and a woman are playing around.

The capital city of Verlagan Kingdom is located in the most fertile place in the entire kingdom. It is located next to a giant river that goes through most cities in the Verlagan Kingdom. This river is their most prized landmark that gives life to their kingdom, as most of their territory is a desert.

"Father!"

The children quickly run when they see the king get inside the garden. The king smiles at his children and gives them a hug. The king has three children, each one of them having a one-year gap. Two girls and one boy.

"What are you guys playing?"

"We are making a flower crown!"

"En! Mother teaches us how to make it!"

"Yes!"

The King smiles a little and rubs their heads.

"Go on. Don’t let me hold you back. I need to talk to your mother."

"Okay~"

The children run back to do whatever they are doing while the king walks toward his wife. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

"How is it? Will he come to visit?"

"Yes. The Grandmaster will come and take a look at our son."

"Good."

The king looks at his wife for a few seconds and says,

"What if he also cannot heal him just like the others?"

"Then we continue to try. We continue to pray to the gods and continue to try because that is what we need to do as a parent."

The king sighs and looks at his children.

"You are right."
