I, The Villainess, Will Seduce All The Heroines Instead-Chapter 34: Passed Out
Chapter 34 - Passed Out
She felt sick to her core - so weak that even screaming felt impossible.
Evelyn's head was shoved down into the sink, dragged up only to be forced back under.
Again. And again.
Damn these cliché bullying scenes of overly jealous women.
She knew this was a bad idea, but she reached for her power anyway.
The Zodiac Threads shimmered in her mind's eye.
Her connection raw, unstable, but pulsing with anger. Heat surged through her veins, her breath shallow as she clung to that single, burning emotion.
Her lips parted. At first, no sound came.
Then, she whispered hoarsely, but firm.
"Stop your hands."
The effect was immediate.
Penelope, the villainess, suddenly froze, her hands numb and useless.
A flicker of confusion crossed her face as she stumbled, knocking into the sink, the wall, and nearly taking one of her lackeys down with her.
"Evelyn!" A sharp voice cut through the chaos.
Verena turned her gaze, barely focusing as Raphael stormed in.
His expression was taut with urgency, eyes scanning the room before locking onto Verena.
He must have heard about the second princess enrolling. He knew of her obsession with him and what kind of person she was.
His first instinct? Find Evelyn.
He moved toward Verena as if to help, but she raised a weak hand to stop him.
"Just... go get her," she muttered.
Raphael hesitated, then nodded.
Everything blurred after that.
Her body gave out.
And she collapsed.

When she awoke, she was greeted by an unfamiliar ceiling.
A deep, pounding ache settled into her skull, the kind that felt eerily similar to a vicious hangover - something she knew far too well.
Every muscle in her body protested, heavy and sluggish as if she'd been wrung out and left to dry.
Yeah... using her power had definitely been a mistake.
Between all the reckless testing, the countless collisions, and the last-minute rescue stunt, her body had finally given up on her.
But oddly enough, she felt warm.
Not the bone-chilling exhaustion she expected.
Just warmth.
Guess I failed that one, huh?

Wait... it wasn't a failure?
Something tugged at her right side.
She turned her head and nearly jolted.
Evelyn was in the same bed.
Verena blinked. Clinic bed. White sheets, faint smell of antiseptic, soft candlelight. Indeed, it was definitely the clinic.
She glanced back at Evelyn, half-expecting distress or awkwardness.
Instead, the girl was smiling at her. Soft. Gentle. Like Verena had just done something wonderful.
"I'm... confused."
Verena's voice came out hoarse, her mind still foggy from exhaustion.
Evelyn hummed, tilting her head. "The prefect told me everything. You ran away from detention, didn't you?"
Verena groaned. "Ugh. Yeah." That was technically correct.
"And... you used your powers?"
Verena stiffened. "Y-Yeah, but... how did you know?"
"Lady Prefect," Evelyn smiled knowingly.
Somehow, her expression shifted into something unreadable. Something dangerous.
In a tone so quiet yet so deafening, she whispered:
"Do you have any idea how much I want to kiss you right now, Lady Verena?"
