I SHOULD BE THE VILLAIN, BUT I PREFER TO BE A TYCOON-Chapter 34: Going to Karaoke
After Zayden and Yamagi finished the ten laps, the rest hadn’t even reached the fifth lap.
Neither of them had even broken a sweat after ten laps.
Yamagi had stamina superior to even an adult man, and Zayden couldn’t even be compared to an ordinary human.
Now, with the boost to his attributes thanks to Erika and Catherine, he had become even more monstrous.
Speaking of the devil... Erika and Catherine approached him.
Just like the boys, the girls were wearing white shirts with blue sleeves and collars and short dark blue shorts.
The size of both their chests made the shirts stretch, creating the outline of two perfectly shaped hills.
"Impressive... Ten laps and you don’t even show the slightest bit of fatigue. Your stamina is incredible~" Erika teased, touching his chest with her fingertips.
"You have no idea..." Zayden replied in the same playful tone, but hinting at something that made not only Erika blush but also Catherine, who got caught in the crossfire.
"Idiot...!" She gave him a light punch on the chest, looking away while tugging at her shirt collar a bit to cover her face.
If she were wearing a hoodie, she’d definitely have pulled the zipper up to the limit to hide her face.
Well, if it was a zipper, maybe an iconic situation would’ve happened with the zipper breaking due to the pressure?
He could even picture the scene of someone getting hit by the zipper pull and fainting from the impact...
Shaking his head, brushing off those silly thoughts, Zayden looked at Catherine and raised his hand, separating his fingers into pairs: "Yo-ho!"
"Pfft-haha, what kind of weird greeting is that?" She laughed loudly.
Even Erika, who a second ago wanted to hide from embarrassment, upon seeing his gesture and the odd way he made a simple greeting, ended up laughing a bit.
"I come in peace?" Zayden replied.
"Oh, you’re an alien? Well, that would explain a lot..." Catherine pretended to be thoughtful while placing her hand on her chin.
"Yamagi, do something." Zayden looked at him.
Standing with his feet together, Yamagi spread his arms: "Why did the scarecrow win an award?"
Before they could answer, he gave the response: "Because he was outstanding in his field."
"How hilarious. That wasn’t funny at all! Hahaha~" Erika let out a laugh.
"Well, in the end, you laughed, so, yeah, it worked?" Catherine argued.
"You’re right!" Erika stopped laughing and raised her index finger at her.
...
When the boys finally finished their ten laps, it was the girls’ turn.
Unlike Zayden and Yamagi, most of them were dripping with sweat. Their faces were red as if they had run a marathon.
Subaru was one of the most exhausted and one of the last to finish running.
"Boys, if you want, you can use the court to play basketball or soccer," Professor Keiko said. "Though with so few of you, it’s better to use just one side of the court."
Hearing this, the boys looked in Zayden and Yamagi’s direction with complicated expressions.
Obviously, whether in soccer or basketball, the two are hard to beat. Basketball was even worse. Not even the basketball team could defeat them, so imagine them, who weren’t even part of a sports club?
Strangely, this was the first physical education class they didn’t have with another group. Because of that, the fear the boys had of playing against him and Yamagi became even more evident.
"Teacher, I’m going to keep running," Zayden said. "That’s okay, right?"
Teacher Keiko thought for a moment before agreeing: "Alright, but you’re not supposed to flirt with the girls, got it?"
"Yes." Zayden turned to Yamagi: "Yamagi, go be the goalkeeper. But you don’t need to give 100% of yourself, just 30 to 40% is fine, and be impartial."
"Yes." Yamagi nodded, grabbed the goalkeeper gloves, and went to the left goalpost.
The boys flinched but soon played ’rock, paper, scissors’ to decide the division of the two teams.
...
Strength, an attribute summed up in a few words. Speed, another attribute that speaks for itself.
While Erika stood out in strength, Catherine was speed.
When the two started running, they saw the surprise in each other’s eyes.
Keeping a fast pace they normally wouldn’t manage, the two girls were running in the lead.
"Huh? What’s going on?"
Obviously, this caught the attention of the other girls who had run with them before and knew they weren’t that fast.
"Somehow, I feel like it has something to do with Zayden Valtrex..."
One of them murmured loud enough for the rest to hear.
"Maybe training with him?"
It was plausible, but not entirely. Still, acceptable.
"That must be it..."
As for the reason, they could only speculate. Or catch up with them later and ask...
"Why did Zayden start running again?"
Right behind the girls, he was noticed.
One of them said: "It’s just a guess, but maybe he’s too good and made the boys uncomfortable?"
"No way..."
"If it was before, I wouldn’t believe it, but he’s changed, right?"
"Well..."
It was an undeniable fact.
After a week of observing him closely, the girls saw that he had really changed.
Now, whether it was all a facade or not was hard to say, but in the first place, he wouldn’t need to pretend... So, yeah, maybe he really had changed?

*RRRRIIIINNNGGG-A-LIIING!*
And so, another day of classes came to an end.
Not long after, outside near the school’s exit.
"Zayden."
When he turned, he saw a beautiful red-haired girl. Even in her uniform, she looked provocative, with her full and ample breasts clearly visible.
As expected from the girl with the biggest chest at HHHS...
Next to Riko was Inoe. Her golden eyes behind her glasses’ lenses were particularly captivating.
Inoe’s eyes were slightly glazed as she stared at Zayden’s striking features.
"Want to go to karaoke with us?" Riko asked.
"Can they come along?" Zayden asked.
Riko looked at Yamagi, Catherine, and Erika and nodded: "Sure, right, Inoe?"
"What? Oh no... I mean, yes, yes!" She got all flustered.
Riko shook her head as if her friend was hopeless.
