They enjoyed wealth and a lofty status for so many years that, over time, it naturally gave rise to a desire for eternal life,

and a thirst for higher civilizations, because they had already indulged in all the pleasures of this world.

It's like playing a level-up game, where you've reached the max level in the starter village, and every monster is just a one-hit kill for you,

items sold in merchant shops are cheap for you, and new players initially praise you,

but after a while, you grow tired of it and want to leave the starter village and explore higher-level maps.

This is the psychology of the mages in the Taiping sect.

And Shambhala is the grand vision painted for them by the Taiping Guru, a brand new and unknown advanced map.

There, new thrills await, new items, new systems.

Even new civilizations, learning the true secrets of this world, and perhaps even... leaving this planet.

No wonder even these delicate-skinned mages dared to follow the Taiping Guru to climb Kangchenjunga.

"Poor souls." Wang Longhu withdrew his gaze and continued walking towards the mountain peak.

In the face of life and death, everyone is equal. Death takes everything, and people have only one life.

...

On the snow-covered peak.

Five people, dressed in mountaineering suits, sat cross-legged on the ground, devoutly reciting true scripture towards the northern glacier.

The man sitting in the center took off his hood and protective goggles, staring fanatically at the glaciers.

"Soon, the time for Shambhala to descend is near."

Da-da-da.

But at this moment, a rustling sound came from the hillside below.

The man turned his head to see two people climbing straight up the hillside, his expression instantly becoming extremely shocked.

How could it be!

He was the only chosen one recognized by the Dakini, and only he and his disciple were qualified to enter Shambhala.

What's with these two, and why are they here? 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

If they were just casual mountaineers, the man would never believe it.

Because this place is too remote, and not the main peak of Kangchenjunga worth conquering, it would be impossible for anyone to specifically come here.

This means these two must also be here for the entrance to Shambhala.

"Oh!"

Seeing the five people sitting on the mountain peak, Chi Ming couldn't help but smile.

To meet fellow companions in this remote, godforsaken place, this is surely the group of Taiping Guru who entered the hidden mountain range early.

Wang Longhu looked puzzled at the man sitting in the center. He looked old, with clear eyes, exuding an aura of sanctity.

But neither his features nor his face shape matched the Taiping Guru Wang Longhu had seen in the illusion at Pujue Temple.

This Taiping Guru looked too old.

The four disciples beside the Taiping Guru all took out guns from their pockets. In a situation like this, casting spells was not as fast as shooting.

"Taiping Guru?" Wang Longhu asked the old man sitting in the center.

"Who are you, and how do you know this place?" the Taiping Guru asked coldly.

If it weren't for being forced, he wouldn't want to share the secrets of Shambhala with others.

"You don't recognize me? Then do you recognize this?" Wang Longhu asked, puzzled, taking something out of his pocket.

It was the blue gem he had pried from the ceramic head at Pujue Temple.

Seeing the blue gem, the Taiping Guru's expression turned extremely shocked: "How did the Dakini gem turn from stone into this! How is it possible!

How could you also be a chosen one recognized by the Dakini! Impossible!"

The Dakini, pronounced Tögyal in Sanskrit, means the goddess who walks in the sky. They are immensely powerful and can freely walk in the blue sky, representing wisdom and compassion.

The Dakini is said to have three forms: inherent, sudden, and karmic, each shaped differently.

They are divided into human-faced Dakini and beast-faced Dakini.

In records, Dakini are the bridge between the pure lands of Buddhas and the human world.

They enable mortal practitioners to connect with the Buddhist pure lands.

Mr. Zhang Chengji explains in "The Songs of Milarepa":

The Dakini is the female guardian protecting the path of esoteric practices, and is also a revered term for all women practicing esotericism.

More broadly, female Buddhas are all Dakini, such as the Twenty-one Taras and the Victorious Queen.

Since Buddhism believes that the original teachings of Shakyamuni exist in Shambhala, the so-called Buddha land naturally refers to Shambhala.

The Buddhist land is also known as the Western Pure Land, the Ultimate Bliss of the West.

The location of Shambhala is precisely to the west of the Central Plains.

Viewed like this, everything wonderfully aligns.

The Dakini is the mysterious being with the qualification to guide chosen ones into Shambhala.

When the Taiping Guru obtained the Dakini gem in Wang Longhu's hand years ago, it was just a pebble-like stone with nothing unusual.

The Taiping Guru even had the Dakini gem scanned, finding nothing amiss.

It seemed just an ordinary stone.

Before preparing to enter Kangchenjunga and search for Shambhala, the Taiping Guru had a dream during a daytime meditation.

In the dream, a Dakini told him to sculpt a ceramic figure representing the Taiping Guru before departure.
