I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100-Chapter 531: The Godslayer
Everyone wasn’t excited to see their brand new weapons. It was in Francoise’s shop for only three days, but knowing the man, he would made great improvements with their weapons.
Elliot in particular was excited. His weapon was made of the previously hardest known metal, Valorium. Now that it was incorporated with the new hardest metal, Excaliborium, he was looking forward to how strong it would be.
Francoise made them line up inside Azure Scorch’s guild house where they waited for their turn to receive their sword.
Lance was the one who was called first. His black and white sword now had a half of the silver gray metal of the Excaliborium. The guard of each of the sword, which was located right where the handle and the sword would meet were also altered.
From the previously crescent shape metal that encircled the eighth of the blade with smaller orbs that reached out with an elongated diamond shape, was now four thin elongated diamond metals protruding from the handle, encircling upwards until it reached right to the blade where it opened up like a flower.
Each guard would contrast the color of each blade, the black sword had a white guard and vice versa. Lance was in awe as he watched his brand new swords, smiling happily and thanking Francoise.
The next one was Ed. He had a longsword that would morph into a smaller dark purple one when he activates his Chaos Form. This longsword was rather plain looking. This was because this wasn’t its final form.
"I’m sorry I couldn’t enhance the overall aesthetic of the blade," Francoise said. "I’m afraid that it would alter the Chaos Form of your blade so I didn’t meddle with it much."
"Are you kidding me, you can’t fool my eyes," Ed laughed. "The hombre finish of the sword is amazing. My weapon had a light gray color and it would transition to this dark gray color of the Excaliborium."
Francoise laughed loudly and gave Ed a pat on his back. "Fine, fine. You caught me."
The next one that would receive his new weapon was Frederick. The man was mysteriously getting a weapon when he was a mage that wouldn’t carry anything.
"For the man who decided to change his fighting style," Francoise chuckled.
"Everyone," Frederick took his sword and sighed. "I have decided not chamge my fighting style to fit the current demand. We need more fighters in the front line, so I will now fight with a sword."
A series of cheers and hollers erupted from the crowd. They were proud of his decision because there is an increasing number of battles and the most vulnerable back lines have been increasing in number.
Elliot was worried about Frederick, but knowing that Luck was beside him, he was confident in the red haired guild master’s skills.
A few more weapons were distributed until it was turn for Connor. He rushed forward and received his sword and his staff.
Connor was one of the few mages who switched fighting styles, like what Frederick was going to do. He used to be a mage of the backlines, providing support and damage at a distant but now he would only use his staff as a vehicle for him to have good mobility.
Previously, Connor had a regular sized sword with a guard that had two horns protruding from the center. The horns represented his Infernal origins. The guard would connect to an elongated skull shape that had eyes of ruby that will lit up with flames when he morphs into his Infernal Form.
The mouth of the skull would open up too when he activates his form. It would blaze with flames that will encircle the rest of the guard until it lit up the entire blade above.
Meanwhile, his staff was completely altered. It was now a skull shape that looked up. It had long horns on its forehead, representing the Infernal origins of the user. When he activates his Infernal Form, the skull would open its mouth like the sword and would pour flames all over the head of the staff.
The body would have a thin line of lava encircling the shaft until it reaches the other end which was a small orb that would burn.
Elliot watched when Hope was called next. For his weapons, the sword and shield weren’t altered a lot. The forms of the weapons would change when he changes form, so Francoise avoided altering them.
It was still the giant great sword that towered over Elliot and was thicker than him. It was shaped like a four-pointed star because the center of the sword would protrude in the middle that would create smaller blades.
The sword had a shape of a dragon with its mouth wide open. The eyes were made of a dark gray gem and it would lit up when it receives damage. The shield would also a gem outline and the tip that was pointed on the ground was sharp enough to pierce through metal.
The distribution of weapons continued until everyone was done. Everyone apart from Elliot. When it was his turn Francoise gave him a small smile before returning back to his workshop.
"Francoise?" Elliot called out and followed the man inside. "Did you forget my sword? There must be a mistake."
Francoise did not speak for a couple of seconds. Instead, he took a rectangular crate and placed it on his desk. "Elliot, I didn’t know what happened but the reaction between your metal and the Excaliborium wasn’t was what I expected at all."
"I-Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" Elliot asked. "I am seriously scared right now."
"What’s happening here?" Lance asked as he and the others from Elliot’s gang followed them inside. "Why didn’t Elliot received his sword? Everyone is worried."
Francoised sighed and opened the crate, making everyone gasp after they saw what was inside.
"This is your sword, Elliot," Frederick said. "Currently the most powerful weapon in the world. I call it, the Godslayer."
