Just as Loren was wondering who that scholarly middle-aged man was, the other party seemed to know Loren's confusion.

Immediately after, a mental message from the other party quietly transmitted over.

"Sir, allow me to introduce myself. Chief of the Star Traveler Society, Chadi Lac Fwens. We should have met once before."

A gentle smile graced the scholarly middle-aged man's face.

Upon hearing the introduction, Loren furrowed his brow and sent another mental message back.

"Mr. Fwens, may I ask, how did you recognize me?"

"Sir, one's bearing is difficult to disguise. Moreover, there aren't many people at your tier who can give me a sense of threat..."

After receiving the answer, the deep furrow in Loren's brow eased slightly.

So it wasn't that he saw through the disguise of my Demigod-level mask...

"What brings you here?"

"I came to announce something." Fwens stated his purpose.

Upon hearing this answer, Loren silently sighed inwardly:

Someone actually wants to cause trouble? I was just asking casually...

"Then what brings you here, sir?"

A mental message from Fwens tossed this question back to Loren.

"I came to accomplish something." Loren briefly stated his purpose.

"Then my apologies in advance, sir. I hope it won't affect what you need to accomplish, as my actions later might cause quite a stir."

Fwens's mental message revealed a hint of information.

A glint flashed in Loren's eyes.

Quite a stir? Good, the bigger the better... I was just worrying about how to complete the assassination...

"It's fine, my actions might also cause a stir." Loren swiftly sent a mental message back.

Right at that moment.

From the audience seats, two mental messages that had been silently observing the area also quietly joined this conversation.

"Need any help? You two." This was the mental message from that Empire's Military intelligence personnel.

"Could you two wait until this old man makes his move?" This message came from the white-bearded old man of the Arcane Research Society.

Loren was speechless at this: "..."

This is the one downside of mental messages—in the eyes of those with powerful mental strength, they're too easy to intercept!

In contrast, Fwens wasn't overly resistant to these two newly joined powerhouses in the group chat.

"If you're willing to help, it would be an honor. Also, I can let you go first." Fwens stated his stance.

Regarding this, Loren also sent out his own mental message, joining this "group chat" he had inadvertently started.

"I can wait until you make your move before I act."

After all, I need to wait until evening for the assassination, if the awards ceremony can even proceed smoothly... Loren silently grumbled in his heart.

"Thank you both."

The white-bearded old man from the Arcane Research Society expressed his gratitude to Loren and Fwens.

"Strange young man, do you require the Empire's assistance?"

That powerhouse from the Empire's Military sent a mental message to Loren.

In response to this message, Loren pretended to think for a moment before declining.

"Not needed for now, it's just a minor nuisance."

Getting involved with the Empire's Military here is not a good idea...

It would complicate the commission to assassinate that politician. I'm not actually a cult organization; I'm just a law-abiding Interstellar Hunter...

Loren's reason for refusing was simple.

"Empire's Military assassinates Federation politician" and "a lone assailant assassinates Federation politician" are two entirely different concepts.

Next.

Both Loren and the white-bearded old man from the Arcane Research Society fell silent.

They quietly observed the conversation between Fwens and that Empire's Military powerhouse...

As the Chief of the Star Traveler Society, Fwens clearly did not reject assistance from the Empire's Military.

The two men seemed to regret not having met sooner, chatting animatedly for quite some time.

They even discussed future cooperation matters between the Star Traveler Society and the Empire's Military within the Federation.

And just as these two reached a crucial point in their discussion...

Suddenly!

From the edge of the Giant Stadium, another vast yet concealed mental force forcefully joined this "group chat."

"You guys are really not considerate... having a group chat and not inviting me! I only just discovered such an interesting event!"

The newly joined mysterious message complained.

"You are?" the Empire's Military intelligence personnel inquired curiously.

"Oh, I forgot to mention, I'm from the Security Bureau~"

The scene fell into an awkward silence for a moment.

Instantly, the mental energies of everyone in the air were quietly withdrawn.

The "group chat" was thus disbanded.

"Don't cause trouble, I'm watching you all. Don't force me to call for backup!"

Finally, that mysterious mental message left a sentence hanging in the air above the front rows of the inner field before retracting its vast mental energy.

Not a trace of mental energy remained in the air of the front rows.

The four individuals possessing immense mental strength all refrained from releasing their mental energy again, sinking into silence.

Half an hour later.

After the performance segment of the Silver Radiance Festival had been underway for a while,

a somewhat restless Loren tentatively released a sliver of mental energy.

"Anyone still there?"

Ever the one to rely on his resurrection opportunity and act recklessly without fear, he began assembling a new "group chat."

"Young man, you have quite the nerve..." The white-bearded old man from the Arcane Research Society was the first to respond.

"Which one of you attracted the attention of the Security Bureau's Demigod-level powerhouse?" Loren asked quietly. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺

"Ahem... ahem. That would probably be me. He was the one who severely injured me last time. He's probably afraid I'll cause trouble again this time..."

The Empire's Military intelligence personnel voluntarily stepped forward to claim responsibility.

"I didn't expect there to be a Demigod-level powerhouse stationed here from the very start this time. Would you two care to cooperate?" Fwens quietly sent over a mental message.

Fwens's question was directed at Loren and the white-bearded old man from the Arcane Research Society.

He and the Empire's Military individual had already formed an alliance.

After the appearance of the Security Bureau's Demigod-level powerhouse, he realized he might need some additional help to secure sufficient time for his plans.

"No, this old man is only here to promote our organization's philosophy. I have no desire to get involved in your affairs."

The white-bearded old man from the Arcane Research Society directly refused, not wanting to be entangled in this trouble.

"I'm the same. Cooperation would complicate matters."

Loren also directly refused.

"Then how do you two plan to deal with the Security Bureau's Demigod-level powerhouse?" asked the Empire's Military powerhouse.

Loren turned his head and exchanged a glance with the white-bearded old man from the Arcane Research Society.

Simultaneously, a smile appeared on both their faces as they each sent out a mental message:

"This old man will wait for you to start fighting with that Security Bureau powerhouse."

"I plan to wait for you to start fighting first."
