I Just Wanted to Be a Galactic Hunter—Why Am I on the Wanted List?-Chapter 199: Someone Cooperates

After thinking through the Federation’s methods, Loren closed his eyes and began to consider ways to break the deadlock.

His mind started analyzing the feasibility of different options.

One, seek help from the Interstellar Hunter Association, they should know that portion of the blocked knowledge. Judging by how the Association treats me, if nothing unexpected happens, they’ve likely prepared for this, maybe even set aside spirit stones for me. But that would mean I’d have to take a position in the Interstellar Hunter Association.

Two, seek help from the Security Bureau, they should be just as eager, but I don’t want to join the Federation...

Three, seek help from a power outside the Federation, they probably wouldn’t refuse a Rule-Based Psychic.

Four, find someone who knows the advanced knowledge and doesn’t mind leaking it to me.

Five, find Lady Daisy and join her family. Based on that conversation, she should also know that portion of the advanced knowledge.

Six, use the Ninth Ability — Guidance of Fate — to find the answer...

Wait!

The Ninth Ability, why did it predict I could find the answer on the Interstellar Hunter Forum??

Loren opened his eyes, a bright light flashing in them!

From the current situation, I probably can’t find the answer on the Interstellar Hunter Forum...

Is the Ninth Ability’s foresight inaccurate? Or did I overlook some crucial detail?

Loren sat up and tossed a coin into the air again.

When in doubt, flip a coin!

“If the imagery my Ninth Ability foresaw could be wrong, then heads!”

The coin fell, tails!

It can’t be wrong, interesting... Loren unconsciously rubbed his chin.

“If I have so many doubts now and the Ninth Ability hasn’t automatically triggered, is it because the answer has already been given? If so, heads!”

The coin was tossed up again!

Tails!

So it’s not because the answer was already given and therefore didn’t trigger automatically!

“Is it that the Ninth Ability failed to trigger because it cannot produce an accurate vision? If so, heads!”

The coin fell once more!

Heads!

It didn’t trigger on its own because it could not produce an accurate vision!

Seeing the coin’s verdict, Loren felt that his Ninth Ability was an extremely complicated power. There were many aspects he still hadn’t figured out, things to learn and develop...

He pocketed the coin, closed his eyes again, and entered deep thought.

From the coin’s answer, the vision foreseen by the Ninth Ability was correct...

So on the Interstellar Hunter Forum page, I should be able to find the answer...

From my analysis, I cannot find the answer directly on the forum posts page, the Federation has already implemented some kind of blockade...

Could the answer be on other pages?

Wait, there’s also the private message pages!

Loren thought of the few friends he had on the forum...

“HalfAnUnknownHunter,” “WannaCatchADruidAsPet,” “InterstellarTravelerOnBike”...

Could the answer come from one of my forum friends... Loren guessed in his head.

He then grabbed his portable computer and quickly logged into the Interstellar Hunter Forum, opening his friends list.

Two friends were online!

Both “WannaCatchADruidAsPet” and “InterstellarTravelerOnBike” were online!

“HalfAnUnknownHunter” wasn’t online. From Loren’s impression, that person was a mission addict, so if they’re offline they’re probably still on a task.

“Looks like one wrong option is eliminated.” Loren muttered, staring at that gray avatar.

Then he looked at the two lit avatars and started weighing who was more likely to give him an answer...

“InterstellarTravelerOnBike” is a Demigod Tier powerhouse from the Empire, he must know the advanced knowledge, but... would it be a bit presumptuous to ask him...

“WannaCatchADruidAsPet” majored in Sixth-Rank Martial Artist several years ago and minored in Seventh-Rank Hunter. So what about now?

At that thought, Loren didn’t hesitate and clicked that friend’s avatar.

ALuckyPetKeeper: “You there? I need to ask you something.”

After three seconds the reply came.

WannaCatchADruidAsPet: “Shoot. I’m in a forum argument right now, the other party is about to be unable to protect their own mother...”

Loren glanced silently at the raven perched at the other side of his big bed.

You all sure like to argue online...

ALuckyPetKeeper: “Do you know the requirements for a Rule-Based Psychic to advance to Legendary?”

In less than a second the reply came again — an instant response! 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

WannaCatchADruidAsPet: “!!! Holy crap! You’re a damn Rule-Based Psychic?!?!”

ALuckyPetKeeper: “Mm.”

Loren answered with a casual “mm.” His reply seemed very aloof, but the corner of his mouth actually curved into a smile. My act is perfectly timed...

WannaCatchADruidAsPet: “Damn it! You’re the exalted Lord Rule-Based Psychic!! No way!! You bastard! My jealousy is about to overflow the screen!!”

Seeing the messages and the avalanche of exclamation marks, Loren’s smile quietly widened a few degrees.

WannaCatchADruidAsPet: “Wait! You?! I remember two months ago you were still a mid-tier psychic, right?!”

ALuckyPetKeeper: “After two months of relentless effort, I’m now Ninth Tier.”

After sending that message, Loren couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

WannaCatchADruidAsPet: “...You must be some god’s alt account pretending, right?! Or a God’s Favored One?! Answer me, is that it!! You bastard!!”

ALuckyPetKeeper: “If that were the case, would I need to ask you how to advance to Legendary?”

Ten seconds passed before the other message appeared again.

Clearly, Loren’s message had given the other person quite a shock...

WannaCatchADruidAsPet: “The Star Realm is insane, far crazier than those epics and legends recorded in books...”

Loren shook his head and chuckled. When pretending to be something, it’s still more fun if someone plays along.

ALuckyPetKeeper: “Stop gushing. Tell me quickly! Do you know the advanced knowledge the Federation has blocked?”
