"This place isn’t as bright as the academy’s training ground," Royal quickly noted, but he decided to ignore it, figuring that a twofold boost should still be enough to win!

Royal struggled to his feet and straightened his clothes.

"A true warrior must be able to assess the situation and admit defeat when necessary."

"Then..." Lin extended his hand, waiting for Royal to hand over the Low Soul Shard.

Royal didn’t protest and calmly gave Lin the Low Soul Shard he had earned.

Lin smiled.

"I’m glad when people keep their word."
