From a wizard to a bloodline.

As for before, it was basically cut off. Even if there were sporadic traces, after Isso, they would only dig up the magic power within the bloodline like him.

Of course, later it was reversed naturally. Gu Shanhai wasn't too sure how it was achieved as the rise and fall of magic power tides left many records lost to history.

But now, definitely don't think about these things.

"No, I don't want to!" Isso appeared particularly resistant after learning the truth.

"That's really a pity, I thought you would be very happy." Gu Shanhai's tone carried regret.

As the protagonist in the script, Isso's future was the dean of the Dawn Wizard Academy, the first non-noble aristocrat loyal to God, and the greatest White Wizard in history.

These series of titles sound good, but upon thinking, he's just a dog of the nobility and church, inherently brainwashed, which is why he ends up like this.

The cause of his eventual death was naturally because he was too powerful, causing the nobility and church to view him unfavorably, so they used some means to kill him and then took control of the Wizard Academy. From then on, wizards became exclusive to the nobility and church.

During the time when Isso controlled the Dawn Wizard Academy, occasionally, commoners could still enter, and those who activated their magic power bloodline could live normally even if they didn't become wizards.

However, after his death, the original situation not only returned but became even more stringent.

The nobility and church did not want another White Wizard Isso to emerge, such powerful forces should be in their hands, making witch hunting more terrifying than ever.

As a wizard, Isso's talent and aptitude were remarkably outstanding, but Gu Shanhai didn't think much of his thoughts and character, so a good deal of polishing was in order.

This was unavoidable, due to the church and nobility's rule, all people had thoughts similar to Isso's. Even if they weren't, they had to display it as such.

And someone like Isso, who is straightforward, certainly is the same inside and out.

"I won't speak of what happened today." Isso gritted his teeth, unwilling to stay any longer.

Gu Shanhai's revealed truth instilled an unspeakable fear in him, more importantly, he didn't think the other was talking nonsense, but these truths rooted in his heart clashed with his faith and loyalty.

In fact, Gu Shanhai was also quite speechless, how could anybody endure and not resist the church and nobility wantonly exploiting ordinary people and exercising life and death over them?

Know that in the No-magic Era, everyone had no extraordinary abilities. Even in the current Low Magic Era, the supernatural is unremarkable. The mightiest magic power is just like a knife cut and leaves the wizard exhausted after use.

"That's very kind of you, are you planning to leave?" Gu Shanhai asked.

"Yes, I'm ready to leave and won't disclose your whereabouts." Isso's heart rejoiced.

"Alright, then I won't see you off, I'm planning to leave once the weather clears." Gu Shanhai didn't stop him.

At this point, Isso was free to move and left immediately without hesitation.

After Isso departed, Gu Shanhai muttered to himself in a low voice: "I wonder if he has nurturing value. If not, I'll have to find another protagonist."

Isso's problem was extremely serious, unless Gu Shanhai performed direct brainwashing, which wasn't favorable for Gu Shanhai.

After all, they had a teacher-student bond.

So if there's no nurturing value, Gu Shanhai would have to learn Cihang Jingzhai's way of selecting the emperor on behalf of heaven.

"Hopefully, he can withstand the upcoming tribulations."

Gu Shanhai is a good person and wouldn't intentionally create tribulations for Isso, but rather, they come with him already, he just needs to intercept the other's opportunities.

He didn't think much of these small scraps, but perhaps they could be used as resources for the next protagonist.

"Dentro de Isso conflicting a powerful curse, it's embarrassing, Gu Shanhai willing to call it the victim's curse."

"To be honest, I suspect I walked into the wrong set and ended up in a butter world."

The curse running through Isso's veins was simply disgraceful and Gu Shanhai referred to it as the victim's curse.

Any female with affection for Isso would inevitably be taken away by a blonde bully. Of course, it wasn't necessarily blondes, it could be other character types too.

Thus, he had to suffer a lifetime.

Fortunately, for Gu Shanhai, there's a lot of room for manipulation.

For instance, if this curse is well managed, it's very suitable for establishing a matchmaking platform, constructing an entire network of relationships through female affection to control various powers.

After all, it's about women having affection for Isso, not Isso needing to have affection for them. By maximizing good feelings, first let the woman have affection for him, then through the matchmaking platform, introduce the bully as an excellent resource network or subordinate, further expanding his influence.

According to NTR principles, as long as women's affection remains constant, the bully stays under control.

Just imagining it is amusing; originally being 'cuckolded', and instead manipulating the bully and various forces through such measures.

However, without Gu Shanhai, Isso couldn't achieve such manipulation and genuinely remains the afflicted, even after becoming a White Wizard, he remains equally miserable, constantly oppressed.

The operations Gu Shanhai refers to require someone of his exceptional level to aid, otherwise, with Isso's own abilities, how could he possibly resist the curse?

This curse rooted in his body, placed by powerful wizards of the High Magic Era, a mere apprentice in the Low Magic Era like him could not possibly combat such a considerable curse.

Isso never reached the Middle Magic Era during his life, muddling through in the Low Magic Era, just a third-rate Wizard Apprentice, never reaching even a level-one wizard.

How could he have any capability to contend with this curse?

The curse does have its perks, as it enhances women's impressions of him, potentially boosting allure or attraction-related abilities.

In the predetermined script, he survived deadly encounters multiple times thanks to this favorability, gaining residuals of the previous magic tide to strengthen himself, and more.

Thus, blessings and misfortunes are intertwined.

But these intertwined fortunes are not inherently part of the curse; it requires the protagonist's aura to be effective. Without the protagonist's halo, it truly remains just a victim's curse.

"Yet, seeing how things are, there isn't much hope. Preparations for the next protagonist need to be anticipated."

"Furthermore, extracting the curse from the opponent's bloodline for research purposes."

In Gu Shanhai's view, the most valuable element on Isso was definitely the curse. This curse is undoubtedly destiny-type, its power was immense, surviving even the retreat of the magic tide.

At the minimum, it would take a Level 8 Bright Moon Great Wizard to accomplish that.

Wizard levels are varied, with apprentices having three levels, classified as three grades, ascending further are divided into one to nine levels.

From Level 7 to 9 wizards, they are respectively titled Morning Star, Bright Moon, and Dawn Sun.

As it stands now, there are no such divisions yet; not even a paradigm of wizard levels. Wizard levels were solidified only after this world became the Wizard World.

It was during that era that celestial convergence, magic tide fluctuations, etc., were stabilized, cementing the Wizard World eternally in the High Magic Era, rather than going through repetitive tide cycles over time.
