I Cultivate 10,000 Times Faster-Chapter 153: [151] Absolute Realm Tomb & Upcoming Tournament
Martina's brain raced rapidly.
If Levi had managed to contract a Golden Wyvern, that means his abilities go far beyond what a normal first-year student should possess. The killing intent, the contracted beast, he was far more dangerous than his cultivation level it and they were both at the peak level of Genetic Soldier!
Her survival instincts screamed as it wen overdrive.
Her posture changed completely and her face changed all as she puffed her chest and spoke.
"That is what I would have said and done if I was someone else," Martina said, tone doing a complete 180-degree turn. She puffed out her chest, which, given her well-developed physique, was quite massive, and there wasn't a single trace of embarrassment on her face as she changed approach with absolutely zero shame.
"Luckily, you met me instead of some other unreasonable person."
She smiled, bright and friendly, as if she hadn't just been threatening him thirty seconds ago. "Apart from sex, you can ask me for anything. Your wish is my command. I'm very useful to have around—I know all the academy gossip, can help with training schedules, know where to find the best resources, et cetera, et cetera."
The shameless about-face was so blatant, so completely without any attempt to maintain dignity, that Levi actually paused.
He'd expected many possible reactions. Fear, anger, submission, even violence. But this kind of instant, cheerful pragmatism that openly acknowledged her change in position without any pretense of having consistent principles?
That was… unusual.
He couldn't help it. A chuckle escaped his lips—a brief, genuine sound of amusement that surprised even himself.
"Fine," Levi said, gesturing toward the couch. "Sit. We can talk."
He moved to the couch himself and settled into it with a satisfied sigh. After six months of sitting on rock, dirt, or the corpses of his enemies, actual furniture felt almost decadent. Luna immediately squeaked and climbed out of his pocket, curling up on his lap in a small ball of fur.
The golden wyvern, recognizing that combat wasn't imminent, shrank down to a more manageable size—about the size of a large dog—and settled near Levi's feet like a loyal guard.
Martina hesitated for just a moment, then moved to sit on the opposite end of the couch. Close enough to converse normally, but maintaining respectful distance. Her posture was attentive but relaxed, like someone who'd accepted their new position and was ready to make the best of it. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
"I don't need much from you," Levi said, reaching down to scratch Luna behind her ears. The little beast squeaked contentedly, pressing into his touch. "Just information. Tell me anything significant that happened over the past six months. I've been… out of touch."
Martina visibly relaxed, as she heaved a sigh of relief. He just needed some information? That was easy.
"If it's that, I can definitely help with that." She leaned back and relaxed as her she thought back to the last six months.
"Let's see… the first three months after you were imprisoned were actually pretty quiet. Just normal academy stuff like classes, training and some minor class assignments, nothing as grand as the assignment of killing dark cultivators
half a year ago."
She paused, then her expression lit up. "But three months ago, things got weirdly interesting."
"The entrance to a secret world was discovered," Martina's face as she started the gossip was interesting as she leaned forward like a true gossip. "A mysterious person called Alan found the entrance to the secret world and its saints the the tomb of an Absolute Being. The realm rumoured to be after the True Fiendgod realm. The mysterious Alan the decided to sell this information as they were weak and couldn't explore the realm by themselves."
"Normally it isn't sich a big deal as it happens every time," she continued. "Secret realms get discovered all the time. Someone finds one, sells the information to an academy or a powerful clan, and they monopolize it for a few years until the resources are exhausted."
"But instead of selling it to just one organization," Martina's eyes gleamed with the excitement of sharing juicy gossip. "This person sold the information to everyone at the exact same time!"
"Every major academy, every powerful clan, every organization with enough money to buy the information. The broker made an absolute fortune and created complete chaos in the process."
Martina chuckled as she shook her head at the amount of money the Alan person made.
Levi's eyes widened slightly. To sell such an information would cost at least a few billion coins. Now he sold it to not one but 30 to 50 organizations that's a lot money to make ones generation rich!
Martina continued.
"Think about it. Normally when a secret realm is discovered, one faction controls access. They can send their best disciples, harvest resources at their own pace, keep everything organized. But this time? The broker sold access to maybe fifty different organizations."
"So now everyone knows about this secret realm, and everyone wants to get their people inside before the others strip it clean." Martina shook her head with a mixture of awe and disbelief. "It was truly genius."
Levi continued scratching Luna's ears, his expression thoughtful. "Since the Mysterious Alan would have to sign a soul bind contract not to sell to others, how was it possible he sold it to others?"
Martina chuckled. "That's the crazy part. They said the mysterious Alan's talent is cloning! He was able to clone himself into 50 clones, enter the organizations, and then signed the contract at the exact same time. With this loophole, he basically didn't tell anyone after signing the contract!"
Levi's eyes rose upwards. Someone capable of releasing 50 clones with independent and organized thought was certainly very powerful. The person even has the guts to offend and scam more then 50 powerful organization at the same time, it was borderline suicidal.
"Where they able to find the person?"
Martina shook her head. "Not yet. All organizations had placed a 100 million bounty on this person head. But now one has come yet to claim it. Including our academy. The situation is both funny and chaotic."
"The academies and other organizations are still discussing on how they would share the resources."
"Moreover, they found out something. The secret realm contains an abundance of extinct fruits and herbs, specifically Spirit Essence Fruits. You know what those are, right?"
Levi nodded slightly. Spirit Essence Fruits were valuable cultivation resources that could help break through bottlenecks, especially for those transitioning from Genetic Soldier to Fiend Warrior realm. Each fruit was worth at least fifty million credits on the open market, sometimes more depending on quality.
"The realm supposedly has hundreds of Spirit Essence Fruit trees," Martina continued. "Maybe thousands. Nobody knows for sure because the first scouting teams haven't finished mapping the entire space."
She leaned back, crossing her arms. "So naturally, every academy immediately started preparing expeditions. Chaotic Star Academy included. The problem is, the realm has entry restrictions."
"What kind of restrictions?" Levi asked.
"Cultivation level and age," Martina said. "The dimensional barrier only allows people below Fiendgod realm to enter, and only those under thirty years old. "
She counted off on her fingers. "So that means the academies can't send their veteran instructors or powerful elders. They're limited to sending students, mostly second year and third year and then us Elite Class students who have the best chance of surviving and actually securing resources."
"Which explains why everyone's been training so intensely," Levi observed.
"Exactly!" Martina snapped her fingers. "The academy announced three weeks ago that they'd be selecting students based on the upcoming tournament results. Top performers get priority slots for the realm expedition. And since everyone knows this is potentially a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity…"
She trailed off and continued. "Everyone's been pushing themselves to the absolute limit. The competition is insane."
Levi blinked his eyes and held his chin in thought.
It would be brutal.
"When does the expedition start?" he asked.
"That's still being finalized," Martina said. "The realm's entrance isn't stable yet—something about dimensional fluctuations that need to settle before it's safe for mass entry. Current estimates say it'll be ready in about a month, maybe five weeks. The tournament in two weeks will determine who gets selected from our academy."
She studied Levi for a moment, her expression becoming more calculating. "You're planning to participate, aren't you? In the tournament."
It wasn't really a question.
Levi didn't answer immediately. He looked down at Luna, she had already fallen asleep in his lap. The golden wyvern at his feet had also dozed off.
His cultivation level hadn't advanced, he was still a Peak Genetic Soldier, same as when he'd entered. But cultivation level wasn't everything.
"It would be nice to know how strong everyone has become."
Martina nodded. "You'll need to register before the deadline that's in three days. The preliminary rounds start two weeks from now, but you'll want to review the tournament format and rules before then."
