I Cultivate 10,000 Times Faster-Chapter 138: [136] Meeting The Elders!
Time seemed to compress. What should have taken weeks of careful recuperation was happening in mere minutes thanks to the combination of the jade extract, his Regeneration ability, the Celestial Moon Necklace's healing boost, and the system's multiplication effect.
When Levi finally opened his eyes again, nearly an hour had passed. His body felt significantly better—not perfect, but functional. He could use techniques again without risking permanent crippling, though he'd need to be careful not to push too hard too soon.
He stretched experimentally, feeling the improved flexibility in his joints, the reduced pain in his muscles.
As if on cue, the driver's voice returned. "Chaotic Star City now visible on the horizon. We'll be landing at the main terminal in fifteen minutes."
Levi looked through the window and he couldn't help but me mesmerize once more. Even though he had see it before, it was still stunning.
Closer to the center, commercial districts rose like mountains of glass and metal. Skyscrapers reached toward the clouds, their surfaces gleaming with holo ads that played. Hover-cars zipped between buildings like schools of fish, following designated traffic lanes connected to their vehicles.
And at the very heart of the city, dominating the them all was Chaotic Star Academy.
The academy occupied an area roughly the size of Ironpeak City's entire city. Massive walls—easily fifty meters high and covered in defensive formations that pulsed with golden light—surrounded the campus. Guard towers punctuated the walls at regular intervals, each one manned by cultivators whose auras blazed like miniature suns even from this distance.
But what truly took Levi's breath away were the floating islands.
That must be where the academy leadership resides, Levi thought. The Dean and the elders.
The hover-car began its descent, joining a steady stream of traffic heading toward the main transport hub. As they dropped in altitude, Levi got a better view of Chaotic Star City's street level.
This is what true civilization looks like, Levi realized. Not just survival, but thriving. Multiple species, multiple cultures, all coexisting in one place.
The hover-car touched down at the transport hub with barely a vibration. The driver turned in his seat and announced, "Chaotic Star City main hub. Those heading to Chaotic Star Academy, there's a dedicated shuttle service outside Terminal Three. Thank you for flying with us."
Levi gathered his belongings, secured Luna in his pocket, and disembarked along with several other passengers.
Levi followed the signs to Terminal Three, there, he found the Chaotic Star Academy transportation service just where the driver had indicated.
A young woman in academy staff uniform stood at a podium, checking identification badges. Her cultivation was at least Level 5 Super Soldier.
"Identification," she said without looking up as Levi approached.
He presented his academy badge. She scanned it with a handheld device, her eyes widening slightly when information populated the screen.
"Levi Borne," she read aloud. "First-year Elite Class." Her eyes lifted to meet his, and for the first time, genuine interest entered her expression. "There's a note on your file. You're to report directly to Elder Council Chamber upon arrival. Someone will be waiting to escort you."
Levi's frowned. Even a bus driver was made aware?
"Understood, where do I board?"
"Bus Seven," the woman replied, pointing. "It departs in five minutes and goes directly to the academy's main gate. Your escort will meet you there."
"Thanks." Levi nodded and thanked her and headed toward Bus Seven. As he walked, he noticed other students boarding the various vehicles.
Bus Seven was already half-full when Levi boarded. He found a seat near the back, away from the chattering students.
The hover-bus lifted smoothly and joined the traffic heading toward Chaotic Star Academy.
The main gate came into view after ten minutes. It was a massive gate more than a 100 meters tall.
Guards flanked the gate, each one an early stage Fiend Warrior!
"Are fiend warriors so easy to see nowadays?
The hover-bus passed through the gate without slowing—students with valid identification badges were automatically cleared by the security formations. But as they entered academy grounds, Levi felt a subtle shift in the ambient energy.
The density of Astra energy here is insane, he realized. Just breathing this air is like cultivating with low-grade spirit stones.
No wonder academy students advanced so much faster than frontier cultivators. Living in an environment saturated with this much energy gave them an inherent advantage.
The bus pulled to a stop at a designated student drop-off area. Most passengers disembarked and immediately scattered—some heading toward dormitories, others toward administrative buildings, a few toward what looked like massive training facilities.
Levi stepped off the bus and looked around, searching for his escort.
"Student Levi Borne?"
A voice called out from his left. Levi turned and found himself facing a young woman who appeared to be in her early twenties, with long black hair tied in an elegant ponytail and sharp, intelligent eyes that assessed him quickly.
She was beautiful—not quite at Lyra's level, but definitely above average. Her academy uniform was crisp and well-maintained, suggesting either high rank or meticulous care. The badge on her chest identified her as a third-year student, and her cultivation…
Levi's eyes widened slightly. A peak Fiend Warrior close to breakthrough.
For a third-year to have reached that level was impressive, marking her as either incredibly talented or from a powerful background that provided exceptional resources.
"I'm Levi Borne," he confirmed.
The woman smiled and replied. "My name is Athena Vale, third-year Elite Class. I've been tasked with guiding you to meet the elders immediately upon your arrival."
Her tone was polite but she seem to be in a hurry.
"Lead the way," Levi said simply.
Athena nodded and began walking. Levi fell into step beside her.
As they walked, Athena glanced at him from the corners of her eyes and spoke."You've caused quite a stir, you know. place in the trial examination despite F-rank talent. Rumors about killing a Peak Fiend Warrior demon. And then…" She paused delicately. "The incident with the two students."
Levi's expression remained neutral. "I'm aware."
"The academy has been… divided about how to handle your case," Athena continued. "Some elders want to make an example of you. Others argue your achievements outweigh your transgressions. It's become quite the political issue."
"And where do you stand?" Levi asked, curious despite himself.
Athena's smile became slightly more genuine. "I don't have a vote. I'm just a student. But personally?" She glanced at him sidelong. "I think anyone who can place first in the trial examination and survive a dark cultivator base deserves the benefit of the doubt."
They walked in silence for a few moments, passing through academy grounds that grew progressively more impressive. Beautiful gardens with flowers that glowed softly. Ponds where fish with crystalline scales swam in perfect formation. Buildings that seemed to defy physics with their impossible architecture.
Finally, they reached their destination—a building that radiated authority simply through its presence.
The Elder Council Hall was a massive structure built from some kind of white stone that seemed to absorb and reflect light simultaneously. Tall pillars supported an entrance that could accommodate giants. Formation arrays covered every surface, their complexity suggesting defenses that could withstand attacks from Star Realm cultivators.
"This is where I leave you," Athena said, stopping at the base of the stairs leading to the entrance. "The elders are waiting."
She hesitated, then added in a lower voice, "Good luck, Levi. I hope it goes well for you."
With that, she turned and left, her ponytail swishing as she walked away.
Levi stood alone at the base of the stairs, staring up at the massive entrance.
Levi took a deep breathand knocked.
"Enter," came a voice from within—neither male nor female, but carrying absolute authority.
Levi pushed the doors open. They moved silently despite their massive size.
He stepped inside, and the doors closed behind him with a sound of thunder!
As Levi stepped across the threshold, reality twisted.
The hall was actually diffenrt from what it was from the outside! This was a totally different world!
Levi found himself standing in the center of what appeared to be an entire pocket dimension, a circular valley surrounded by seven towering mountains that stretched toward an artificial sky swirling with primal energy.
"What the…"
The words died in his throat as his enhanced senses tried and failed to process what he was seeing.
This was an actual dimensional space that existed inside the Elder Council Hall, compressed and contained by techniques so advanced they might as well have been divine miracles.
This is what true power looks like, Levi thought with a mixture of awe and terror. The ability to casually create and maintain entire worlds as meeting rooms.
Each of the seven mountains was a manifestation of elemental power made physical, and each one was so overwhelming in its presence that Levi could feel them pressing against his consciousness even from this distance.
The first mountain blazed with eternal fire that made the Golden Wyvern's flames look like candle light in comparison. Rivers of lava cascaded upward down its slopes in defiance of gravity, the molten rock spiraling toward the peak where a miniature sun seemed to burn with the fury of creation itself. The air above it shimmered with such intense heat that Levi could feel his skin beginning to dry out even though he was at least a kilometer away. If an ordinary person had stood where he was standing, they would have been incinerated instantly just from the ambient temperature.
