I Contracted All Ancient Divine Artifacts-Chapter 410 - 309: Trouble, Duel, Be My Slave
Han Zhan’s mind tensed, thinking there was another sudden situation.
Unexpectedly, coming towards them were a few Jiuli people dressed just like Li Wu and his group.
What surprised Han Zhan even more.
When Li Wu saw them, his expression didn’t relax, and even the four Jiu Li Warriors resting by the creek instinctively moved closer.
This abnormal behavior made Han Zhan narrow his eyes slightly.
"Li Wu, the High Priest said there was a big fire discovered in this forest area and sent me to investigate."
The speaker looked younger than Li Wu, and was much taller, with two other Jiu Li Warriors standing by his sides.
As he spoke, he was also observing the situation on Li Wu’s side.
The Iron-Eating Beast lay weakly by the creek, drinking water.
It should have been a team of ten people, but now only five were left, and each had a considerable amount of soot on their faces, looking very disheveled.
Besides them, there was a person who was obviously not from the Jiuli Race, and judging by the physique, likely from the Yellow Emperor Tribe.
Seeing enough of the situation, he withdrew his gaze and continued, "Li Wu, it seems you’ve suffered quite a loss in this fire."
"Li Hui, that’s none of your concern. If there’s nothing else, please leave."
Li Wu’s tone was indifferent; it seemed the two didn’t get along well.
Facing the obvious dismissal from Li Wu, the Jiuli Warrior known as Li Hui stood indifferent.
The three of them stood firmly, blocking the only path.
Li Wu’s face darkened even more.
Having already lost three of his warriors and two Iron-Eating Beasts was a considerable loss.
And now, running into someone difficult was making it worse.
"Have you finished drinking?"
Li Wu no longer looked at Li Hui, but turned to look behind him.
Hearing Li Wu’s voice, the sensible Iron-Eating Beasts stood up clumsily.
Li Wu mounted his own and raised the whip again.
"Set off!"
He shouted loudly.
Li Hui’s group stood on the path, and Li Wu’s call to set off seemed as though he hadn’t seen them.
Was he planning to let the Iron-Eating Beast trample over them directly?
Han Zhan leaned back slightly, not expecting Li Wu’s character to be so unyielding.
Entering the Wilderness of Zhulu Fruit World, was the first major confrontation about to play out?
Li Hui saw Li Wu’s actions and snorted.
With a stature nearly three meters tall and built like an iron tower, his cold snort was like the rumble of distant thunder.
The Iron-Eating Beast under Li Wu couldn’t care less for human subtleties and charged forward without hesitation.
The Iron-Eating Beast, nearly six meters tall and much larger than the Jiuli, charging head-on with Li Hui might even be hard for him to handle.
Yet, he advanced instead of retreating, taking a step forward.
Finally, Han Zhan could see how the Jiuli Race transformed.
A layer of white mist emerged from Li Hui’s skin, seeping out of his orifices, and then his entire body began to inflate remarkably, growing to match the size of the Iron-Eating Beast.
He slightly bent his legs and grasped the Iron-Eating Beast’s front hooves, exerting great force upwards.
"Ha!"
Li Hui’s hands bulged with veins, his muscles swelling like exaggerated pieces of iron.
With his effort, the Iron-Eating Beast, along with Li Wu sitting on it, was forcefully lifted up!
"Ha!"
Another angry shout echoed.
Fueled by anger, Li Wu leapt off the Iron-Eating Beast, and his size instantly became gigantic during the descent.
Two towering giants clashed fists, emitting sounds like muffled drums echoing through the air.
"Li Wu, are you sure you want to fight me here?" Giant Li Hui’s deep voice boomed. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
The opposing giant, Li Wu, shouted lowly, "If you want to fight, then bring it on!"
Watching from the sidelines, Han Zhan observed the first exchange between the transformed Li Wu and Li Hui.
Li Wu was noticeably smaller compared to Li Hui.
If Han Zhan’s speculation was correct, the strength of the Jiuli Race was directly related to their size.
Li Hui was younger than Li Wu, yet his size was more robust and taller, making him more advantageous after transformation.
Thus, it seemed that Li Hui was stronger, and Li Wu was not his match?
Even Han Zhan could see this, and Li Wu, as a Priest, could surely make such a calm judgment.
But clearly, he was caught up in the moment.
While Han Zhan was assessing the situation, the two Jiu Li Warriors were already exchanging heavy blows.
Li Hui’s face was swollen, looking like he had an entire mountain stuffed in his mouth.
Li Wu staggered back, falling onto the Iron-Eating Beast, causing its four "legs" to tremble, almost buckling under the pressure.
The intensity of the fight clearly indicated Li Hui’s slight superiority.
"Hey, still want more?" Li Hui pressed on relentlessly.
Without waiting for Li Wu to respond, he raised his fist high again.
If this punch landed, Li Wu would surely be severely injured.
Just then, Li Hui unexpectedly lost footing on his second step.
The ground underneath him mysteriously disappeared.
The momentum of his punch, combined with his large body’s inertia, made him stumble forward.
Seizing the opening, Li Wu slapped the Iron-Eating Beast’s belly and stood up.
The Iron-Eating Beast let out a low, pitiful wail, as if saying: You’d better have a good reason.
Ignoring it, Li Wu clenched his fist and aimed at Li Hui’s right cheek.
In Li Hui’s widened eyes of disbelief, the punch landed squarely on his face.
Crack.
The sound of bones breaking.
Li Hui was sent flying in an arc through the air, landing heavily in the distance.
The tables had turned.
Now it was Li Wu’s turn to be relentless.
He darted forward, quickly closing in, and knocked the two subordinates Li Hui brought flying with just a punch each.
Li Hui, wobbling his head swollen like a pig, felt his brain severely rattled from the previous punch, almost becoming an idiot.
Before he could regain his senses, he saw a towering black figure charging towards him.
And then, there was no more.
Li Wu merely knocked out the three provoking Jiu Li Warriors, not really killing them.
The Jiuli Race was competitive; challenging each other and fighting was a matter of skill, and no one would say much if one side was beaten.
But if it escalated to mutual killing, this would face the harshest punishment if discovered by the High Priest.
"Thanks for the help earlier."
Li Wu returned to his original form and walked up to Han Zhan, expressing his gratitude.
Han Zhan waved his hand.
Unexpectedly, Li Wu added another sentence:
"When we return to the village, you can become my slave."
Han Zhan: "???"
