Chapter 53: Rampage Part 1

In terms of size, Velos 32 is larger than Velos 33.

However, perhaps due to the arid environment, many buildings appear dull with a slightly yellowish color.

Even some newly constructed and painted buildings are not exempt from this.

This is unavoidable because Velos 32 is often hit by sandstorms.

Essentially, it is not an ideal location for a city, but due to its former oil industry, it has developed on its own with many residents.

Its prosperity continues to this day, even though oil is no longer valuable, thanks to the wealth generated by the oil industry.

If there is one thing that makes Velos 32 famous, it is its enormous bus terminal.

In the past, during the New Year, many migrants arrived by bus, so the terminal was built very large and it still stands today.

Of course, it’s a very barren area, and the flying buses land at the terminal.

When Luis stepped off the flying bus, he immediately felt the scorching heat of the city, which was extremely uncomfortable for someone accustomed to the fresh air of Velos 33.

Additionally, he noticed quite a few gangsters at the terminal demanding protection money from bus drivers, but only from local buses that couldn’t fly. They dared not approach buses from the empire, whether they were ground buses or flying ones.

They even charged people using the terminal’s restrooms.

Luis quickly exited the terminal, which reminded him of a riot zone.

However, just as he arrived at the gate, something shocking happened in the middle of the terminal.

A large dimensional rift appeared there and expanded rapidly, reaching from one end of the terminal to the other. ƒrēenovelkiss.com

"Damn it, did an accident happen?" Luis muttered.

From the looks of it, the big event had begun.

Of course, gathering so many high-level monsters in one area wasn’t without risks.

One of the biggest risks was that the space, which happened to be in a weakened state, tore apart due to the pressure from the monsters’ auras.

BANG!

Suddenly, a blonde-haired man was flung out of the dimensional rift.

He appeared to be in his 30s and was wearing a military uniform.

His face was pale as he crashed into a large bus.

His aura indicated that he was a Level C Awakener, but he didn’t seem very strong.

ROAR!

A deafening roar echoed from within the dimensional rift as the massive mouth of a monster emerged.

It was the mouth of a lion with thick, golden-colored whiskers.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t just a lion, as its enormous head was large enough to make everyone at the terminal fall to the ground in fear.

’Sandstorm Lion!’

Luis immediately recognized the lion’s name, which was said to possess the ability to summon sandstorms.

It was a monster with above-average strength, with an Estimated Power of only about 15% below that of a Primordial Monster.

A monster of this level, if it appeared in a city, the disaster it could cause was unimaginable.

Ordinary humans wouldn’t stand a chance.

The empire had certainly considered all the risks, but clearly they didn’t care much because, at worst, the victims would only be local residents.

They might have prepared something to minimize damage and casualties, but it would still happen.

Luis suppressed his anger and quickly entered the Apocalypse World, finding Velos 32 reduced to ruins with no buildings left standing.

At the terminal, he saw the remains of a lion that hadn’t fully stepped into the dimensional rift. It had only sent its head inside to monitor the situation.

And he saw many other monsters at various points, consisting of desert monsters like lizards or scorpions and yellow desert snakes, most of which had three or four heads.

’It seems I’ll have to become the Brumak,’ Luis thought.

He chose to become that ice monster because its form was more suited for one-on-one combat, and he wanted to lure the lion away first so it wouldn’t enter the real world.

With a single thought, he instantly transformed, growing enormous and tall enough to clearly see the entire ruined city and the surrounding area.

[Estimated Power: 17,959!]

(Skills:

- Absolute Zero Domain

A domain that lowers the temperature to absolute zero!

- Infinite Ice Spear

Creates countless ice spears that can be sent to a single target!

- Ice Mountain

Summon a massive ice mountain from the sky and drop it onto your target!

- Spear Knight

A combat ability that allows you to fight with a spear like a knight!)

Luis looked at the list of skills, which only numbered four, but to him, the Estimated Power seemed rather unreasonable.

He was a Level C Awakener with a Tier 2 Spirit and a Tier 3 Monster Core, yet his Estimated Power in Brumak form was far above his current level, more than three times higher.

Even if he advanced to Level B, his Estimated Power would likely still be significantly lower unless he added more Spirits.

It was even far above Malzagor, who was essentially on par with the Primordial Monsters.

Of course, this is because Brumak is a True Primordial Monster, the king of Primordial Monsters, requiring an Awakener to possess three Tier 3 Spirits.

Luis couldn’t fathom how someone could obtain that many Tier 3 Spirits.

Perhaps in other places, they could be found more easily.

However, his main focus was still on the special body, which he believed was more attainable for himself while its power was considered unpredictable.

The sudden appearance of his massive figure was, of course, extremely shocking to everyone, as he emerged out of nowhere, not coming from any direction.

As soon as he appeared, the environment of Velos 32, which should have been extremely hot, began to grow cold, with snow falling from the sky and some forming into ice blocks.

Some Awakener even mistook him for an 8th-level Monster.

The first thing Luis did was kick the Sandstorm Lion.

Though it was indeed massive, he thought it would still be difficult for him to reach the lion.

The size of a True Primordial Monster is slightly exaggerated, but his kick easily sent the lion flying far away.
