"What do you mean, your territory! Stop bragging, you fake Celestial Maiden!"
Gu Mo’s voice rang out, and instantly appeared in front of the demon. With the super-high synchronization rate of the Demonized State, almost transforming into the Nine-tailed Demon Fox, Gu Mo’s physical attributes exploded for a moment, enabling him to traverse the corridor in the blink of an eye and arrive in front of Kaguya.
Five fingers pierced through the air, like sharp claws directly stabbing through Kaguya’s chest, only then did the sound of a sonic boom erupt.
But this strike hit nothing, Kaguya’s body faded and disappeared into the air, the body being pierced was merely a visual afterimage left in place because of the high speed.
Gu Mo missed his strike but did not pause at all, he turned around immediately, as a massive tail emerged behind him, swinging viciously 180 degrees along with his turning motion!
As the tail swirled around, flames burned fiercely, spreading outward violently, sweeping through the spacious hall, breaking pillars wherever it passed, causing the ground to burst into flames instantly!
Boom!
The ground shook, the dome collapsed, and large, red-lacquered pillars, big enough for two people to wrap their arms around, fell one by one, smashing down half of the grand hall as if it were fragile clay!
"Meaningless! All these efforts are futile!" Kaguya, who had just appeared on the other side, almost got hit by the giant fox tail again, forcing her to flicker rapidly to another direction. She looked up at the broken hall with eyes full of anger.
In the next moment, as if time had reversed, or as if a broken surface of water had returned to tranquillity, the reflected scenery became as good as new.
The hall that had just been blasted apart was restored to its original appearance in the blink of an eye, following the fall of her words.
"This is the world within the mirror... You cannot oppose me here!"
She shouted loudly, without hiding the rage in her tone, simultaneously holding the unblemished mirror in front of her, clearly reflecting the image of Gu Mo opposite her: "Let me see into your heart, the mirror will reveal your mind, often the best weapon against you is hidden within your own heart..."
"This trick again? It didn’t work before, what can it do now? I’m going to turn completely into a demon, I don’t need you to teach me!"
Feeling his body overwhelming with Demonic Power, Gu Mo clenched his fist into a claw and slammed it into the ground, the rapidly spreading massive fissure rent the newly restored hall asunder, with the crack swiftly expanding, like a black lightning extending across the floor, instantly reaching far off to where Kaguya stood!
Yet, the demon masked as the Celestial Maiden once again vanished, leaving only the space at her location and behind it torn and penetrated, the heavy solid wood, pillars, and thick floorboards emitted cracking noises, crashing down, sinking into the dark water below amidst an earthquake-like commotion.
"Hmph!" Kaguya snorted coldly, "Who said it’s the same trick..."
In the mirror before her, Gu Mo’s reflection disappeared, leaving only a piece of darkness, slowly revealing a blurry shadow.
It was like a silhouette walking towards the mirror’s exit from within the darkness, slowly becoming specific, its outline becoming more distinct...
It was a quiet girl with neat bangs in a Hime cut, and rose-colored eyes.
Under those long eyelashes, the eyes were very calm and indifferent, there was a tear mole under the left eye corner. Wearing a spirited light outfit, resembling a female general charging on the battlefield, she appeared calmly within the mirror.
