Chapter 565: Supreme Celestial Beast

After waiting hours for the supreme elemental cores to settle, Nash activated his Spiritual Ability and began manifesting each into a celestial beast.

The moment he started, he felt his void and elemental energy drain at a frightening rate.

Nash immediately pulled back, focusing only on condensing a single supreme celestial beast.

Thanks to his quick reaction, the materialization didn’t fail, allowing the Supreme Origin Celestial Beast to take form.

Floating before him was a small, pure white fairy, no bigger than his fist, drifting gently in the air.

"That small?" Nash frowned.

The origin elemental core itself was compact, but given the sheer amount of energy needed to summon it, he had expected something at least a little more imposing.

"Come."

Extending his hand, the Supreme Origin Celestial Beast drifted quietly onto his fingertips.

"It doesn’t seem to have any power."

Feeling nothing from it, he ordered it to attack.

In an instant, every bit of elemental energy in the room was absorbed, compressed into a single point, and fired straight through the wall.

Click.

Like a shard of glass, it struck the wall without any flash or explosion.

Just when he thought the attack was too weak, the room suddenly trembled.

"This—, how did it carry so much force?"

The training room was more solid than the Star Alliance’s treasure vault.

Even a War God striking it with full strength wouldn’t make it flinch.

Walking toward the impact point, and let out a quiet breath of relief when he saw no visible damage.

Otherwise, the chamber would have been destroyed the moment it was finished.

"How is there so much power? Can it also manipulate the laws?"

Sensing that the law energy in the room was noticeably thinner than before, Nash confirmed his suspicion.

"An elemental celestial beast that can control the power of law? That’s absurdly overpowered."

Even if it was only a fraction of law, it was still immense.

Given the concentrated nature of the attack, even a War God would be in danger if caught off guard.

However, looking at the Supreme Origin Celestial Beast already beginning to dissipate after just one attack, Nash felt a little helpless.

"My strength is just too weak."

Now, it wasn’t that the ability had severe after-effects; it was that he simply didn’t have enough energy to sustain it.

The moment he tried to use it in a real battle, he would be too exhausted to follow up or even escape.

"I can only use it as a trump card until I think of a solution..." Nash sighed.

For now, like his other overwhelmingly powerful abilities, it would have to stay dormant until he had the strength to use them regularly.

"I’m just too weak."

His abilities could threaten even a tier 8 War God, yet he was still at tier 4 Void Venerate Rank.

"I need to advance to tier 5 Void Marshal Rank first."

With all elements now condensed, the next step was to advance.

The next Chapter of the Infinite Void Manual had been deduced long ago.

Once his elemental cores fully settled, he could advance whenever he chose.

Soon, as the Supreme Origin Celestial Beast completely dissipated, Nash slumped down, feeling his energy drained.

"How is this any different from suicide?"

He had wanted to test the full scope of the supreme celestial beast’s power, but he had nothing left in him.

"If only I could convert the abundant soul sea into void and elemental energy," Nash thought suddenly.

Unfortunately, after analyzing the problem during a session of soul enlightenment state, he had come up with nothing.

Converting soul energy into void energy was fine, but turning it into specific elements seemed impossible.

Soul was itself one of the elements, and no matter how refined his technique, he couldn’t transmute it into something else.

"Wait. If my skills can’t do it, why not use the module system?"

Since soul energy could be converted to void energy, and void energy was the impure form of all elements, converting it further into elemental energy was entirely feasible.

More importantly, his body could already produce elements on its own, albeit slowly.

With the right design, control, and acceleration through a module system, he might be able to turn the soul sea into an endless fuel source.

With soul energy drawn from quadrillions of people, he wouldn’t just have enough to use the Supreme Celestial Beast in battle, he’d have enough energy to spare for almost anything.

Turning the idea over in his mind, Nash couldn’t help but smile.

"It’s been a while since I built a new module system."

Filled with anticipation, he was ready to dive straight into work.

Unfortunately, his soul enlightenment state was still on cooldown.

He could work on it manually, but without the boost from soul enlightenment, it would take far too long.

It was better to spend the time in the Chronos Arena or hunt for more fragments of the Severance Knife.

---

10 days later.

Waking from his battle frenzy, Nash received a notification from Philo.

"Is the modification of the Void Pulse done?" he wondered, rubbing his aching body.

Every muscle carried the phantom pain of ten days’ worth of punishment.

During those ten days, he had been either on the dark plane hunting for fragments or fighting in the Chronos Arena without pause.

As a result, his rank had shot up quickly.

[Noir (03805)

Rank: Silver 66

Win: 481 Loss: 390 Draw: 0]

The win-to-loss ratio told the whole story.

Reaching Silver 50 had been a challenge, while reaching Silver 70 was hell.

At this level, his opponents were those who had virtualized over a thousand laws.

Even when he dispersed their attacks, they had more than enough law power to keep coming.

If not for the newly optimized [Combat Module System] and the supreme celestial beasts, Nash wouldn’t have known how to win half those fights.

"It’s truly satisfying to fight stronger opponents." Nash wiped the sweat from his face and prepared to return to reality.

He had lost more than he won, but each fight let him push further.

Now, aside from the [Overlimit Module System], he had tested nearly every other module system in real combat.

Unfortunately, the new module was still only a concept.

Once it was finished, he would have unlimited energy to outlast any opponent.

"Hah. Time to go back."
