I Can Claim Daily Rewards-Chapter 148 Meeting The Commanding General Again
Arlan suddenly laughed after seeing them fight for the chance of survival. They didn't even hesitate to betray their own people.
"I've heard everything that I want to hear." Arlan muttered as he left the room.
"Sir, wait! Please don't go so soon! We are willing to negotiate with you!"
"Sir, bring me to the police! I will confess everything!" bed𝚗o𝚟𝚎𝚕.𝚌𝚘m
Arlan waved his hand without looking back. After he left the room, he saw Codename 01 standing outside with a calm look on his face.
"You guys stay here and keep an eye on them. Don't let them escape. I still have some use for them." Arlan said as he took out his phone. He scrolled through his contacts and searched for Lieutenant General Rivera's contact information.
Ring! Ring! Ring!
"Hello! This is Lieutenant General Rivera speaking." The commanding general answered the call in a stern voice.
"Hello, Commanding General Rivera! This is Arlan Dominic Roa, the new owner of the Arms Corporation of Maharlika." Arlan smiled as he introduced himself.
The commanding general was taken aback when he heard the caller's identity. Only a few people knew his number and he didn't recall giving his contact information to Arlan. 'Was it Rex De Guzman?' He thought to himself. During his last meeting with Arlan, he noticed that he had a close relationship with Rex so he suspected that it was him who sent his contact information to Arlan. However, Rex was the kind of person who would ask permission before doing things like that.
"So it's Mr. Roa! To what do I owe this pleasure?" The commanding general still had a lot of things to do so he straightforwardly asked the reason for the call.
"I believe you are planning to go to Mindanao today, but I suggest that you should postpone your trip, General." Arlan's words made the commanding general frown.
"What do you mean by that?" He asked.
"Check the message I sent to you just now." Arlan replied mysteriously.
Lieutenant General Rivera lowered his phone and opened his inbox. He clicked the message sent by Arlan and he saw a photo of three people tied up. "These people are..." He stood up in shock while staring at the image. He then quickly pulled his drawer to get a document that was labeled 'top secret'. Displayed on the document were the pictures of the same individuals who were in the image sent by Arlan.

"General, I will bring these people to you, but you can only see them if you make sure that you won't inform the president about this." Arlan's voice drifted into his ears.
Lieutenant General Rivera thought deeply for a moment before he replied. "Alright. I promise you that."
"I hope that you will keep your word, General. I'll send you a location after this call. Let's meet there tonight at 9 p.m." Arlan disconnected the call afterward.
Lieutenant General Rivera took a seat and communicated with his assistant. "Cancel the flight. I have something to deal with tonight."
Meanwhile, Arlan commanded the Oorlewende Unit to move the leaders of the NPA to another location. He then stared at the time on his watch. "There are still a few hours before I meet with the commanding general." Arlan had to make some preparations since the person he would meet later was one of the top figures in the country.

At exactly 9 p.m., Arlan's group arrived at the meeting spot. They stepped out of the vehicle and entered the broken building.
"You're finally here..." A calm voice drifted into their ears.
Arlan smiled as he looked at the commanding general. "Thank you for your patience, General."
"Mr. Roa, as you requested, I didn't inform the president about the contents of our conversation. Only my most trusted subordinates are here with me so you can rest assured." Lieutenant General Rivera said with a serious look. He then stared at the people behind Arlan. One of them looked like a local, but the remaining people were foreigners.
"I trust you, General." Arlan smiled when he the general sizing up his men.
"Mr. Roa, can you bring the three people now? I'd like to confirm if they are the same people I know." Lieutenant General Rivera didn't want to waste time. His every action was strictly monitored by the government so he had to end things quickly before they start to suspect him.
"Of course!" Arlan nodded his head. He then gave a signal to his men as he said. "Bring them in."
Soon, the soldiers brought the leaders of the NPA inside the abandoned building.
Lieutenant General Rivera and his men were stunned when they saw them. "It's indeed them!"
The soldiers behind Lieutenant General Rivera were agitated. "General, those people are the leaders of NPA! We have their personal information in our database!"
"General, I know that these guys were responsible for the death of your men in the last few decades. I brought them here to let you know the truth." Arlan's expression turned serious.
"The truth? What are you talking about?" Lieutenant General Rivera didn't know Arlan's motive so he decided to play along with him.
Arlan turned his gaze to Cedrick and told him. "Show it to the general."
"Yes, boss!" Cedrick nodded his head. He then grabbed the laptop inside the leather suitcase he was holding. He opened the laptop and showed the screen to the commanding general.
Lieutenant General Rivera stared intently at the screen. "That is.... how is that possible?! How could the president do something like that?!" His face changed dramatically.
Displayed on the screen was evidence of the president's corruption and criminal activities. Everything was very detailed and there were even videos to prove the president's crimes.
"President Maracas is involved with Leandro Manzano's drug cartel. If you don't believe me, you can confirm this by doing a drug test on him. He should be positive for cocaine and methamphetamine hydrochloride." Arlan's words stunned the commanding general and his subordinates.
