From the moment I boarded the train, I knew something like this was going to happen.

As we walked out of the compartment, the sight of many trembling gazes flashed in my eyes.

Just then, a man broke into the hallway door.

Seeing that edgelord, I decided to pry a bit and stepped forward.
"I am Noel De Nova, the only and sole heir of Nova. State your purpose for attacking us. Do you want to kidnap me and ask for compensation from my parents?"

"Which bastard fired the arrow!"
I got up and followed.

A mana arrow shot out from a mage at the back.
In a blink, Elderic wielded his greatsword against the incoming arrow.

A few of the spikes that weren’t destroyed by the flames shot at Elderic.
But without fail, he managed to either deflect or block all of the strikes.
Even though he was wielding such a big sword, it didn’t hinder his movements at all as he tore through the compartment.

Just as he thrust his sword at him one more time, Kai stepped aside, letting his blade meet nothing but air.
Quickly, from the side, he unleashed an upward swing with his colossal sword.
Since his sword was twice as big as his own body, when he used it to perform an upward slash, his blade collided with the metal floor.

"Idiot... At least mind your surroundings?" I screamed as debris flung toward me and others.
But instead of stopping or slowing down, his sword simply dug through the ground and closed in on him from below.

Kai stepped up and said, "Quickly, drag them and let’s run."
"What about him?" one of them asked, looking at me.

"Just leave him."
With that, they lifted Elderic and Eleanor.
One of them looked back at me, as I lay there unconscious as an act, but seeing that they had no intention of taking me, I shouted,
"Hey, why don’t you take me too?"
"Sorry, we don’t need dead meat."
"FUCK YOUU!"
It was then that a loud explosion erupted, blinding everyone’s vision, after which all the figures dispersed.
