Chapter 482: Chapter 482 Professional exaggerator

Boo floated outside the classroom door like a celebrity arriving at a press conference, chest puffed out, tail flicking with unnecessary drama, a grin stretched so wide it looked permanently glued to his face.

"May I come in, teacherrrrrr?" he sang in a long, spooky-dramatic tone, dragging the word like a haunted musical note.

Every baby immediately turned to stare at him with suspicious curiosity.

"Yes, Boo," Alina said, amused, already sensing chaos.

He floated inside with exaggerated elegance, spinning once in the air as if entering a royal court, still grinning like he had just won a ghost lottery.

"So?" Alina asked, folding her arms playfully. "What did Principal Sir want?"

Boo placed a hand on his chest proudly. "Well," he announced loudly, "Principal was VERY impressed with me. Extremely. Deeply. Emotionally moved. He even prepared a special flying chair just for me."

The babies gasped.

Boo continued with smug confidence, "He said I am too talented to be ignored, so for an entire week, I will visit his office every day... to bless his ears with my spooky voice."

He lifted his chin like a celebrity being interviewed.

For a second, the classroom went silent.

Then—

"That is a LIE," Lucien said instantly, brows knitting. "Dad would never say that."

"Yes, yes, I don’t believe you," Drake added, shaking his head seriously. "Principal Sir is scary, not a Boo fan club president."

Luna bared her tiny teeth in mock threat. "Tell the truth or I will eat you," she growled dramatically.

Rocky blinked nervously. "P-Please don’t eat him..."

Felix sighed, rubbing his temple. "This sounds fake. Even for Boo."

Boo gasped loudly, clutching his chest as if personally attacked. "Easy, easy! Why would I lie?" he said smugly, floating in slow circles. "I am a professional storyteller. A respected spirit. A historical legend in progress."

Lucien crossed his arms, staring at him flatly. "You are also a professional exaggerator."

Boo pointed at him dramatically. "Jealousy is ugly, young demon prince."

Drake squinted. "Did Principal Sir REALLY say you’re blessing his ears?"

Boo hesitated for exactly half a second.

"...He said I was loud," Boo admitted.

Felix nodded calmly. "That makes more sense."

"And he said you must come every day?" Luna asked suspiciously.

"...He said I must come every day," Boo said.

Lucien narrowed his eyes. "To... write?"

Boo froze.

His smile cracked.

"...To write," he whispered in horror.

The entire class burst into laughter.

"So you’re not blessing his ears," Drake wheezed, clutching his stomach. "You’re being punished!"

"He made you do homework!" Kelpie laughed.

"Principal Sir is training you!" Felix added dryly.

Boo floated dramatically to the corner, clutching his heart like a fallen ghost actor. "This is character assassination," he lamented. "I wanted to return as a feared spirit... but I returned as a punished child."

Alina laughed so hard she had to wipe her eyes. "Alright, alright, Spooky Celebrity, take your seat."

Boo sighed deeply and floated back to his desk, muttering, "One day they will respect me. One day they will fear my spooky voice."

Vlad Jr. tilted his head slightly, brows knitting in genuine confusion. "But what exactly did you do?" he asked in his usual composed tone, as if this were a formal court inquiry instead of kindergarten gossip.

Drake burst into laughter, almost falling off his seat. "What else? Principal Sir must have caught him gossiping! Or haunting someone! Or doing suspicious spooky business!"

"Yes, yes," Boo said with a dramatic pout, folding his tiny ghost arms. "Principal found out I was gossiping with Teacher about him."

The moment the words left his mouth, several pairs of eyes slowly turned toward Alina.

Lucien sighed, looking both unimpressed and tired. "That’s why you deserve punishment," he said flatly. "You keep spreading nonsense."

"It was NOT nonsense," Boo protested loudly. "It was information sharing."

"Cough, cough! Now that Boo is back, let’s move on, okay?" Alina said, clapping lightly to gather their attention, though her smile betrayed how entertained she still was by his dramatic return.

Boo floated to his seat with exaggerated grace. "Are we playing a game again? I like games," he said hopefully.

"No, no games for now," Alina replied gently. "We’re going to talk about this new term, then a few important things... and after that, you’ll all have nap time."

The moment she said nap time, Sable’s eyes lit up like tiny stars.

"Okayyy..." the babies replied in a chorus, some excited, some suspicious, some already half-relaxed.

Alina’s tone turned a little more official, though her warmth never faded. "So, I’ve already corrected your papers, and next week we’re going to arrange a parents’ meeting. That means each of you has to bring at least one guardian. It can be your mom, dad, aunt, uncle, grandparent, or anyone who takes care of you."

Drake shot his hand up instantly, nearly launching out of his chair. "Teacher, I will bring my mom and my dad!" he announced proudly, tail flicking with excitement. "My dad will brag about my fire control. And my mom will bring snacks. Very good snacks." 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

Kelpie raised his hand next, smiling brightly. "I’ll bring my mom and my aunt. My aunt always brings homemade sweets, and she tells funny stories about when I was a baby."

Felix stretched lazily. "I’ll bring my mom," he said calmly. "Though if she pranks someone, it’s not my responsibility."

Rocky lifted his hand shyly, cheeks faintly pink. "I... I will bring my mom and dad. And maybe my uncle. He likes colorful pebbles... He will understand me."

Luna crossed her arms with pride. "My whole pack wants to come," she said. "But Mom said only one adult, so she’s coming. She will sit properly. Probably."

Vlad Jr. smiled elegantly, raising a hand with perfect composure. "I shall bring my parents. They enjoy formal meetings. Mother will critique the décor, Father will praise my academic progress, and afterward we will host a small tea gathering."

Boo floated up again, spinning slowly in the air. "I will bring my elders," he declared. "They will pretend to be scary but actually ask Teacher if she likes spooky décor. Maybe they will sit like decoration. They’re very lazy!"

Alina chuckled softly, then turned her gaze toward Sable.

"And you?" she asked gently.
