"Brother Wen, since you have this thing, I think there's no need to put a door on this exit. Having a door's actually less safe. When we make an exit without a door, just use this Magic Wand as a key and it'll work perfectly.

Wen Yan didn't bother him and headed out of the passage, not worrying about it anymore.

When night fell, he checked, and Guihai Yidong still hadn't come out. Wen Yan called down at the entrance, but Guihai Yidong refused to leave, saying he'd eat and sleep inside, no need to worry.

Wen Yan scratched his head, thinking to himself, Maybe this is Guihai Yidong's path to advancement.

From what he'd heard, Guihai Yidong used to do everything himself, and judging by what he said, the materials were probably never properly sourced either.

Guihai Yidong immediately started digging a sloping passage downward.

After about 30 or 40 meters, a massive underground space opened up in front of them.

It looked like an underground parking garage, though the columns were nowhere near as dense, and the ceiling seemed to be over seven meters high. The whole space felt extremely open.

This one floor alone was about the size of a soccer field—pushed right to the limit.

Moving forward, Wen Yan saw there were elevator shafts reserved, and stairs on all four sides.

There were two more levels below, but for now, those weren't finished yet.

"I'm out of materials. I need to go get more. Brother Wen, have a look—this is pretty much the main structure."

Wen Yan looked at the columns, at least a meter thick, their surfaces so smooth it was as if an old master bricklayer had carefully troweled them—absolutely pristine.

"Three floors in total, the top one a bit bigger and the two below a bit smaller. This is the maximum strength my current abilities can handle.

It's not that I couldn't use better materials, but if I do, I can't control the process as well and something could go wrong, end up with flaws or inaccuracies.

If there's a defect, it might actually be worse than just leaving it like this.

This is the most reliable way."

Wen Yan looked at the space in front of him—what more could he ask for?
