Chapter 210: The storage room {Slight M)
In the end, it was decided that they would have a barbecue at a very good barbecue spot that was recommended by their Sergeant. What was really surprising was that Arlen indeed went upstairs and when he came down, he was holding a blue card in his hand that made the entire room holler with joy.
It was unanimously agreed that their barbecue spot would be changed to a more expensive one. The Chief was generally stingy so now, he had given his card up for the group, they were determined without a doubt to splurge as much as they possibly could for one day.
Even Ravi who had initially had no interest in the barbecue suddenly started looking forward to it. He looked at the man in the office whose head was narrowed as he reviewed the reports of last week’s cases and he looked back at his work. His fingers flew so fast as he hurriedly finished everything.
He printed it out, put it in a file and hurried to Arlen’s office. The moment he opened the room, the sweet scent of vanilla danced below his nose.
Arlen looked up at him and Ravi swallowed.
"I am here to submit a report."
Arlen arched a brow at him. His flattened palm lay inches away and Ravi was so tempted to brush his hand over it, just to feel a hint of that warm heat.
His eyes were filled with a knowing tease, "Officer West, you have always loved to submit all your reports together. When did you start to submit them one after the other or did you come here for another reason?" Arlen smiled at him and Ravi could feel his heart beating faster.
The Adam’s apple on his slender neck rolled, as if he was suppressing something.
Like a charming fox spirit.
"I missed you." He confessed, he dropped the file on the table and lowered his voice. The office of the police Captain was made of glass so anyone could early look in, Ravi did not do anything outrageous, just brushing his hand slightly against Arlen.
"Oh heaven! I want to kiss you right now." Arlen whispered, leaning back as he ruffled his hair. Those gorgeous blue eyes were filled with so much sweat that it was enough to cause Ravi to stir.
"I have been holding myself but you just had to come to my door to tempt me, love."
Arlen’s pupils dilated and Ravi watched the way Arlen’s tongue tongue slipped out to wet his lush lower lip.
Fuck! Fuck! They were in the office.
Subordinate.
Captain.
He swallowed and in a fashion that was purely Ravi, he fled, "Captain, please review it as soon as possible." The electricity that the smouldering gaze had raised was still racing through his veins. When he sat down at his desk, he had to put his cold face on his face to hide the heat on his cheeks.
Lisa looked at him but she did not speak and went straight to their report.
"Officer West, help me take these records to the storage room." Arlen’s voice sounded in front of them and Ravi looked at him.
Arlen was carrying an impossible amount of files in his hands and Ravi stood up to help. He took the majority of the files without any problem and led the way to the storage room.
The storage room was opposite the forensic room and Ravi took the key to open the door while balancing the files with one hand, he entered inside and looked back at Arlen.
"Which compartment are they going in?"
Arlen leaned in to capture Ravi’s lips. Ravi let a low groan against his mouth, the noise rippling through Arlen as he deepened the kiss.
He kicked the door to the storage room shit and in the next moment moments, the kiss had turned into tongues, teeth and gasping breath. Ravi sank into the taste that was so purely Arlen, rich, sweet and so damn delicious. He gripped the front of Arlen’s clothes to stabilize himself.
Their lips pressed together sent a sweetness through his body like a sticky syrup and he pushed Arlen against the shelf in the storage room. Arlen’s palm travelled from his cheek to circle his neck as he gripped him tight.
Ravi basked in the possessive grip. He had truly missed him, kissing Arlen was more than physical, always more than the shuddering thrill of sensual contact, it was filling.
He wondered if he could ever find the words to explain just how addictive this man’s lips were to him.
His lips caressed Arlen, teasing as he pulled away only to dive back in all over again.
Arlen groaned, "Behave." He said as he slipped his tongue in again, as if wanted to devour him and Ravi melted. Their bodies were oppressed together in this moist storage room and all Ravi could feel was that he was intoxicated.
The ferocity between them beed, and the kiss began to turn into tender, slower, longer strokes as the two of them savoured the feel of their lips against each other. Arlen pulled away after what felt like hours and Ravi looked at the files on the ground.
"So you had ulterior motives for inviting me here."
Arlen raised his hand and a cold wind blew, lifting the files and placing them on top of each other.
"Aren’t you the one that came to my office to seduce me?" He could still feel it, the taste of Ravi’ in his mouth, the sinful caress of his tongue.
"Seduce?" Ravi carried the files and placed them in an empty compartment, "You exaggerate, Captain."
Arlen chuckled and hugged Ravi from behind, he leaned his head on his shoulder, and began to act coquettishly, "I missed you so much, Ravi."
Ravi’s lips twitched, "A pity we have to go to that barbecue, we could..."
"Let’s cancel it." Arlen instantly suggested, "I would rather have cereal with you at home. I just want to cling to you, Ravi. Missed you."
Ravi laughed and reached to ruffle Arlen’s soft blonde locks. This person. His words. Every time.
Like fluffy cotton that had basked in the sun, gently wrapping around a person.
"We spoke this morning." He tried to say but his cheeks were red and his heart thumped in his chest.
It was a pity that fates were not in the support of the honeymoon in the storage room.
There was a loud pounding on the door, "Arlen. Officer West. We have a case."
