The receptionist hadn’t finished speaking when two slender white fingers already pinched a card and handed it over.

It was a gleaming golden card, clearly marked with the letters SVIP. Vera Wave smiled as she waved the card slightly.

"Planner Xu, I’m really sorry, I’m a super V. You two should sit down first and wait until we’ve finished choosing, and then you can pick!"

In her bag, Vera’s phone buzzed lightly. She took it out to see a new message from Kris Cooper in her WeChat Moments.

The photo showed a long hand resting diagonally on a keyboard, with the index, middle, and ring fingers respectively near the letters U, I, and O. A men’s diamond ring was worn on the ring finger.

Below the photo was a string of text.

"Let me show you my new keyboard."
