Once you have your own understanding of the Otherworld, you can then decide your next step. In this way, at the very least, your heart will be firm, avoiding internal conflict and hesitation.
My dear daughter, even if you choose to give up, I will not blame you. You have the right to choose abandonment. The things that past Witches and I could not complete, I have no right to demand you to fulfill.
Live according to your own wishes. Even without you, I believe that a hundred years’ time will not lead to the destruction of both worlds.
Avoid the family, go and enjoy your own life.
After you die, the family will have their ways to retrieve the Mountain Ghost Coin, and methods to ’create’ another Witch.
Regarding this, I have thought carefully. From the distant Warring States period to modern times, after numerous wars in Huaxia Land, it is certain that there were situations where the Witch line was cut off. The men of those families surely had ways to ’bring back’ the Witch to the family, otherwise why would the Witch be willing to bear children?

He was also a Nine Songs Storyteller and chose the former over continuing to be a Nine Songs Storyteller upon becoming Prime Minister.
So, I took on a disciple, whom I named Mo Yan Shu, slightly older than your brother. I imparted all of the Storyteller’s duties to him.
Besides me, the leader, and the Storyteller, Nine Songs also has a Ghost Vendor, Bell Doctor, Shopkeeper, assassin, Daoist, Monk, and Gu Master.
The code names are all professions, which also represent their functions. Specifically, I wrote them alongside the role of the Mountain Ghost Coin, which you can view by yourself.
If you find the Bronze Mountain Ghost Token I left for you, and you wish to command them in the future, then take out that Token. Some of the Witch Lady’s power still lingers within that Token. Keep it with you, for in critical moments, the Witch Lady will bless you.
But do not overly rely on that Token. The Witch Temple is being abandoned, and sooner or later the Witch Lady will completely disappear from this world.
Additionally, once you step into the Ghost Level, that Token will attract the people of Nine Songs to slowly gravitate towards you. Even if you do not seek them, you will ’coincidentally’ encounter them in various situations.
If you wish not to encounter them, place that Token in this painting.
This painting, apart from the Mountain Ghost Coin, is the only thing I can leave you. It is both a containment object and a secret little world.
It is a product of many coincidences and accidents, a unique item of two worlds that cannot be replicated. I hope you will take good care of it and make good use of it.
Lastly, there is one more important matter.
Your father and I have a concept for ending the era of ghosts, which might serve you as helpful reference.

If you find it hard to understand, think of a bank. A bank’s money is saved by people bit by bit, gathering into a large fund, which those in need can borrow, then repay with some interest.
The Divine is such an existence; you cannot expect the bank (Divine) to take the initiative to solve problems for you.
I cannot control the Witch Lady to devour all the world’s ghosts. I have verified this myself. I once led the people of Nine Songs to collectively pray to the Witch Lady but received no feedback.
Thus, this matter must be accomplished by a Yin Walker who can cross the line of the Sixth Level and a powerful ghost that can be controlled by the Yin Walker.
We do not know whether anyone has tried this before. We have also worried that, in case after devouring all the world’s ghosts, it results in the creation of a terrifying being that amalgamates all the world’s ghostly powers, it might ironically bring about the world’s doom instead.
Furthermore, what lies beneath the Ninth Layer of the deepest part of the Nine Netherworld, the family does not know, nor do the people of the Otherworld.
The family has been passing down for so many years, yet our knowledge of all this is pathetically little. These hidebound, conservative factions!
The above thoughts were discussed between me and your father, but there remains a fundamental issue to be resolved, that is, the source of modern Dark Power, which fundamentally creates ghosts and is a crucial problem that must be addressed.
