I Am the Only Fertile Woman in the Game-Chapter 90: Asura’s Arena (Part 1)
The next day, when Qiao Suisui woke up, Zong Fang had already left the house. She then realized the house was quite large, so large that any sound she made echoed clearly and monotonously. She had a simple lunch and then placed the little lion into the nursery box and sent a message to Ruka.
Just as she turned off the Light Computer's screen, Ruka's video call came through.
"Suisui, I'll come to pick you up."
"No need, going back and forth would waste time. I'm on my way back."
Ruka didn't argue but looked at her for a few seconds and asked, "Are you unhappy?"
Qiao Suisui lowered her eyes, looking somewhat listless, but still managed a smile and said she was fine. After ending the video call, she went straight back to her own small building. By the time she disembarked from the Flying Ship, Ruka was already waiting for her at the door.
Ruka took the nursery box from her hands and, instead of looking at the cub immediately, he stroked her head and hugged her.
"I was originally planning to visit you after you returned to school. I thought you would spend the weekend with Zong Fang..."
Qiao Suisui, smelling the familiar scent on Ruka, felt significantly more relaxed; even the insecurity caused by Zong Fang's hot-and-cold attitude eased somewhat.
"Ruka, I've been neglecting you recently, haven't I?"
Ruka stiffened, then looked down at her, his eyes full of concern. "Not at all, don't think like that. Suisui, everyone should have things they want to do, and you are no exception. So don't feel burdened about it."
Qiao Suisui's nose twitched, and she felt a bit teary; she buried her head in Ruka's embrace and did not speak for a long time.
When Leberli received the message and came over, he saw the two of them hugging at the door from a distance. His face darkened, but as he approached and noticed Suisui's condition, he frowned and looked at Ruka, who gently shook his head. The two men exchanged a look quickly reaching an understanding and did not ask her what had happened.
Leberli coaxed her into the house, while Ruka took the little lion upstairs.
The three little lions were quite fluffy and had grown a lot. From a young age, their personalities were evident: the eldest was quiet and more calm; the middle one was the infamous Naonao, particularly mischievous; the youngest was shy but the cutest and looked the most like Ruka as a child.
Ruka placed the white little lion among her three brothers. The three little lions immediately came over to sniff her.
Naonao did more than sniff; he also tried to bite her tail and was slapped away by Ruka, tumbling end over end.
Xiao Bai, unfamiliar with the new environment, had teary eyes but did not cry. After meeting her brothers, she just quietly lay down there, adorable and well-behaved. The eldest also lay down beside her, sticking out his tongue to lick her fur. The youngest lay off to the side, watching for a while before moving to lie down next to his siblings.
Only the troublemaker Naonao was jumping and bouncing around, even making howling sounds, but since none of the three paid him any attention, he crouched down pretending to pounce. But with his father watching nearby, he didn't dare to truly pounce and ended up slipping in a comical feint, tripping over his own pudgy paws.
Ruka watched the four cubs finally reunited, and an involuntary, gentle smile appeared on his lips.
Downstairs, Leberli had Suisui sitting on his lap, whispering in her ear as they chatted. He occasionally pinched her waist and looked at her legs.

"How come you seem thinner?"
"Not at all, same as always."
If she hadn't gained any weight during this pregnancy and had actually lost some? The more Leberli thought about it, the more he felt he couldn't let her continue running around outside.
"Take tomorrow off from school, take another day to rest. Three days for the weekend is too short."
Qiao Suisui chuckled, feeling he was also someone who spoiled kids. "How can that be? The school has just started, and I am supposed to take a leave?"
Leberli wasn't concerned. Once he held her, he wouldn't let go, sticking to her like a magnet wherever Qiao Suisui wanted to go.
"Ash, I need to change clothes."
The man lingered and wouldn't leave.
"You change yours."
Qiao Suisui maintained a stern face and just stared at him without speaking, so all that was left to see was the mighty Sun of the Auslan Empire getting up sheepishly from the master bedroom, and as he closed the door, he added, "I'll wait for you downstairs."
Finally alone in the room, Qiao Suisui breathed a sigh of relief, changed into a comfortable, loose-fitting dress, lay on her bed, and stared blankly at the canopy above.
She had no idea why Zong Fang was in a bad mood, and he hadn't given her a chance to ask. They had been fine at the party; could it be because of Lanze that he was upset? But then she shook her head, dismissing that thought. Lanze was such a gentle person, never antagonistic, whereas it was Zong Fang whose moods were unpredictable. She wondered if he might cause trouble for Lanze...
Qiao Suisui sighed, turned over, buried her face in the pillow, and rested her smooth, fair legs on the end of the bed, her mood evidently sullen.
"Oh, who is this? Our mighty little boss has finally deigned to come back?"
Qiao Suisui jumped in surprise, sat up on the bed, and looked at Carl who had suddenly appeared in her room. He was now lazily sitting on the table, his long legs carelessly wide open, leaning back with his arms propped on the table, sporting a face eager for a good show.
"How are you here?"
"Can't you tell? I've come to urge you to pay attention to a tenant's complaint. Believe me, I could give you a bad review."
Qiao Suisui, who was about to lose her temper over his misuse of Talent, found herself somewhat speechless at his bringing up this matter.
Ah, truly, "money is hard to earn, shit is hard to eat."
Resigned, Qiao Suisui got out of bed and walked towards the door, but only took a few steps before she heard Carl's annoying voice again.
"Come back."
"What now?"
"Put on your shoes."
She looked down and noticed she was standing barefoot on the slightly cold floor, then looked up again, her expression somewhat puzzled.
What did him whether she wore shoes or not have to do? Could it be he...
Carl, observing her guarded expression, raised an eyebrow, jumped off the table, and walked towards the door, not even glancing at her.
"Your feet stink, I can smell them from here."
"??????"
She must have become foolish from too much studying to ever think Carl liked her. Qiao Suisui hurried back to put on her slippers and then stomped after him, grumbling.
"You're the one with stinky feet, your whole family has stinky feet."
Unnoticed by her, Carl, walking ahead, adjusted his pace to be neither too fast nor too slow, just enough for her to keep up. At this moment, a silent smile played on his lips, his eyes brightened with pleasure, but he quickly looked down, hiding his expression.
Just as they were coming downstairs, Sang Yan, who had just arrived, caught sight of the two of them together; a glint passed through his dark eyes.
"See, Brother Yan, I told you my nose was the sharpest. I said it was the little female coming back from far away." Gai Meilun slapped Sang Yan's shoulder excitedly, then greeted Qiao Suisui with a radiant smile. Ah Yao, standing behind them, also waved at Qiao Suisui and amiably said 'hi'.
Qiao Suisui happily greeted the three men, with Carl standing indifferently behind her. Although he did not join in, he showed no intention of leaving. At that moment, Leberli, carrying an enamel pot from the kitchen, saw Qiao Suisui standing among a group of men, and however you looked at it, the scene was just awkward.
"Suisui, come here."
