I am the first leviathan eater of humanity again:Futa-Chapter 60: Our first Game of the Season

Reaching Valley high school we get off the bus and walk in to the gym to see the Valley high girl basketball team practicing as they’re waiting for us. As we head over to our side of the gym placing our bag down around the bench when we hear a gentle voice say "hello."

Turning around we see an girl that has light brown hair with ruby eyes with and b-cup chest as she seems to be about 5’4 as she was smiling at us.

Seeing that she has our full attention "my name is Sonia and i am the manager for our schools basketball team here as your coach is busy talking with our coach. I will show you to where the locker room is so that you can place your things in there and change before the game."

(10 minutes later)

Standing in front of Gina and the coach as the last of the team finishes doing their lay-ups to come and join us while i had taken a few sips from my water bottle.

Gina: Seeing that the full team has been gathered "today against the Valley’s high school we will be having Zola, Beatrice, Sara, Selene, and Lucy be our starting 5. With Zola at the point guard, Selene at shooting guard, Beatrice at the small foward, Sara at power foward, and Lucy as the center.

As our game plan is to run an 3-2 zone defense as they’re strongest position have always been their 1-3 positions. As we have no new data that shows any differences but... their point guard this year has changed from their usual one thats been to nationals with them for 2 consecutive years.

To be replaced by someone that just started to play for their team only last year that made quite the name for themselves alongside Zola as there’s little of video footage on her last during that season.

But from the footage that i’ve managed to get is...hard to believe as their is someone else that’s able to match Zola...besides us...and there’s been no mention of any other.

Prodigy or of geniuses that’s been mentioned out of the 10 that are known with me, Selene, Beatrice, and Sara being the top 5 genius."

Hearing what she said ’is...is...she...is she... really here...at...at...Valley high...why...why... out of all the schools...and if...Gina can’t find anything...on her besides...some basketball footage...she must be from one of the 12... families....’

Unconsciously i say "so...Raven...you’ve... even followed me...this far away from Ghan city to even here."

Selene: "So Zola you know her then" i asked after hearing her speak out unconsciously.

Widening my eyes from surprise as i realized i’d spoken out loud unconsciously before i’d bit my lower lip before making a complicated expression as i felt everyone’s attention had turned upon me.

Beatrice: Seeing the expression that has shown upon your face "it’s safe for us to say that you more than...just know her. I take it that the both of you have some history that is between the two of you."

Bitting, my lip harder to draw blood as i had lowered my gaze without realizing before i’d felt all hand be place on my shoulder to see it was Gigi that was in front of me with her hand on my shoulder with an worry look in her eyes.

Sighing as i tasted blood from my lower lip "y-yes...me and Ra...Raven...has...history bet-ween the two of us...as we used to be on the same team together...before we’d we went to different schools and meeting alot in the final to determine who’s would go to nationals."

Gina: "I see then...its ok...then if we leave her to you then as your...most familiar with her game than the rest us."

Nodding my head, "ok..." sighing again before looking up to see her smiling at me before the coach says "ok then you know the game plan go an show them what you can do."

Walking on to the court first i stop when i saw Raven standing in the middle of the court with her back turned to me. As if sensing me staring at her she looks over her shoulder with her eyes meeting mine before turning and walking to where i was on the court.

Standing a few inches apart from each other "h-hey...Raven...how have you been...in the last year after we met in the nationals."

Raven: Seeing the wary ness in how Zola is acting as she asked how i was. As i keep my expression neutral as i try to hold back my emotions from being heard "i’ve...been good...how about you?...have you been able to keep up with your training.."

Smiling at her "i’ve...i’ve...been well too...and hmm...i’ve been able to practice an great deal since then."

Raven: "mhmm...thats good...i’m looking to us having our usual head...to...head then as i’m looking to see how much you’ve...been able to imporve since we’ve....gone...our own ways." As i had bitten the inside of my cheek to stop me from saying anything else as i had walked away.

Flinching as i heard her emphasize thoses words as she walked away after finishing what she said "mh-mhmm...i’m...looking foward to it as well...as i’m looking forward to see how you have grown too."

Bitting the inside of my cheek has i didn’t bit hard enough to draw any blood i heard Sara voice.

Sara: "Little La...we understand that this is something that you have to handle alone... but do know that you have your sisters here for an reason. As it wwould be rude to inter-fere with someone’s else’s battle but just know you can rely on us when you feel that it’s the time you need us."

Turning only to widen my eyes as i saw not only them but also our parents in the crowd sitting in the bleachers. Smiling as i saw them as i even saw Val...with them that caused me to be even more surprised as i thought ’d-don’t the tennis team also has mates today... as well... so why is she here...watching our game."

Valarie: Seeing that Zola has noticed that i was here being that i was worried and i was right to be as we all could senses that she’d gotten weird before walking on to the court as it only got more apparent when she talked to an girl from the other team.

Looking away from her ’well it’s not l...l...like i w-would ever...tell...her that i was...worried... to the point of having my match that was to be played today switch to our vice captain.’

Sighing, i turn to look at her again as i mouth "you.better.win.sense.i.have.came.to.watch. you.or.i.will.be.upset.if.you.lose.hphmm" as i turn away crossing my arms.

’After the game end i’m so going to deny that i said any of that that.’

Smiling, as i read what she mouthed out to me as i felt my heart be rejuvenated by her and Trice, Sel, Sara, and Gina support i walk over to them as we get ready for the game to begin.

With both teams being in our positions for the jump ball the ref looks around with whistle in his mouth and the ball in the other before he blew it and threw the ball up for the centers to go ahead and jump for the ball. With Lucy as the one to had won with her tipping the ball back to me as i dribble with the crowd having break out in to cheers.

Dribbling the ball just passed the half court line i saw Raven...at the 3 point line waiting for me as she had her team set in the iso... defensive set. While she look at at me with her an on her hip while she kept her neutral expression. But the aura she was emitting off to me was saying "Zola...we are going to do this now...no running away...no relaying on your team or sisters...this is...about you an me...as i will have my answers for why...why you made the choice that you...and i won’t let you get away until you tell me what i want to know and that i’m satisfied with what i find... otherwise...i...i...will cut...any...any...shred... of...ties we have to each other."

Stopping just short of her while she got in to her defensive stance...i dribble the ball as i just stand there ’Raven...Raven...why...why... have we gotten to this...point...you...say...it was me...and my...choice...but...it was... really..."
