Chapter 70: Mood Change

Michael didn’t have any clear plan, but for now, keeping Dragon God from flying into a rage and stabbing a few holes in him with her spear was the top priority.

"We still haven’t had much chance to talk, have we? Sit down for a bit. There’s still plenty of time anyway. At least you’ve got a few decades to hit me. If I become a god, then the time will be even longer."

His words were flattering, his face cowardly, and of course, what he said was also true. It’s just that later, when he has strength, at least he’ll have the confidence to fight on equal terms with her, not be on the receiving end of abuse like now.

"What are you talking about? What good do we have to talk about? How about you just stand still? I’ll stab a few holes in you, then give you a day off."

Dragon God curled her lip in a smile and held up one finger. Her tone was so generous that Michael almost thought she’d said ’a year’.

"One... one day? And get stabbed a few times?"

Michael held up a trembling finger. He couldn’t believe it, his eyes wide as he stared at her, as if wanting to confirm if there was some mistake.

"Hmm... One day is a bit short, so how about a day and a half? If I don’t stab through your body, with this body of yours, that should be tolerable for that time, right?"

Dragon God scratched her chin, thinking seriously, then nodded, giving Michael an extra half day of rest time.

???

What the hell is a day and a half? Is this for you to rest or for me to rest?

"F*ck!"

Michael cursed under his breath, stood up, and charged straight at Dragon God. His movement was decisive, his gaze firm, like he was about to throw down.

"Ha ha, very good... Huh???"

She was just about to praise Michael for being so self-aware, taking the initiative to come before her so she could hit him, when she suddenly froze.

Michael suddenly slid on his elbows right in front of her. With a pathetic look, he knelt and hugged her leg, his face crumpled as if he was about to cry.

"Boss, from now on you are my boss. My admiration for you is like an endless river, flowing on and on without stopping. If you tell me to go east, I absolutely won’t go west. I can do so many things, you know.

I can take care of you, I can clean and do laundry, I can run errands, I can massage your back, and so much more, just say the word and I’ll do my best to help you."

Michael absolutely did not feel embarrassed. At least it was much better than having some crazy b*tch chase him with a spear every single day.

Right now, if he chose to run away, she would have a hard time finding him, but he wasn’t one hundred percent confident she wouldn’t find him. Besides, his mission was to help make Leo’s wish come true, so he couldn’t just abandon Leo and run.

Thinking it over, this embarrassing option was the only one left. Moreover, bowing his head to a god wasn’t too shameful. Even though he was a genie, aside from being immortal, he currently didn’t have any worthwhile abilities.

He firmly believed that within ten years, he would escape his current situation. Slaughter God’s abilities were no less than Dragon God’s. By then, at the very least, he could stand on equal footing with her, with neither fearing the other.

As for Dragon God, she was still dumbfounded, unable to process the current situation. She looked down at a posture that was very familiar, yet she saw none of the god’s pride anywhere in it.

She had lived for a very long time, so long she couldn’t even remember how many years. But she had never imagined that one day Slaughter God would call her ’boss’, and moreover, hug her leg and refuse to let go like this.

And what was he saying about doing all sorts of things, sounding no different from some kind of servant. Slaughter God as a servant... If Martial God joined in, wouldn’t that make a perfect pair?

Thinking about both gods groveling at her feet, Dragon God once again felt that she was the greatest existence on this continent.

Even though they didn’t have any strength now, they were still ’gods’. In the future, no matter how strong those two became, it wouldn’t erase the fact that they were once her ’servants’. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

"Ha ha ha, very well, from now on you are my first servant."

She laughed even louder, not forgetting to confirm the status. If she didn’t make it clear, later Michael might deny it, and that wouldn’t be fun at all.

This really was the first time she had taken someone on as a servant. Anyway, gods could do everything themselves, so she had never really thought about trivial things like this.

’Servant? How the hell did I become your servant? Ah, whatever, at least I won’t get stabbed full of holes.’

Michael was extremely resigned. His status since arriving in this world had really taken a nosedive. At first, he was a genie, a real god. Now he’d dropped straight down to being a servant for that crazy b*tch.

"Now, here’s your first task."

Dragon God didn’t care what Michael was thinking in his head and started giving orders.

???

You’re really not going to be the least bit polite with me, are you?

Michael really wanted to curse when she immediately started treating him like a servant just like that. Even though this whole mess was his fault... No! This whole damn mess was caused by Slaughter God and Martial God, and in the end, the consequences fell on him and Leo.

"What do you want me to do?"

He stood up and asked her, his demeanor looking nothing like the groveling wretch from a few seconds ago.

"Stand still and let me stab you once with my spear. Don’t worry, you won’t die."

Finished speaking, she even gave a light laugh. But that light laugh with this dragon head, no matter how you looked at it, just seemed wrong.

A vein popped up on Michael’s forehead. If he took this, he’d be a damn dog. He raised a middle finger ’politely’ towards her face and spat.

"F*ck you!"

A series of clapping sounds rang out, and Michael’s figure vanished once again.

"Hmph, a servant who doesn’t even have the basic requirement of listening to orders."

She snorted and then used her hand to wipe off Michael’s spit that had just landed on her face. She didn’t really care about this kind of trivial stuff.

Looking in the direction Michael had disappeared, lost in thought about something, she suddenly smiled. Her demeanor now was much more composed than when they first met. It was as if ’having fun’ here for a few days had made her stop feeling so irritated.
