I Am Genie-Chapter 63: One Domain, Two Abilities
Dragon God swung her spear again and again. She’d tried dozens of different attacks but the result was always Michael easily dodging them. No matter how much stronger she was than him, if she couldn’t hit him, everything was meaningless.
Leo was still watching the situation, not choosing to charge in and attack her. He felt something was really off, so he just used his domain to drain the energy in her body. With this kind of continuous wear and tear on both stamina and energy like this, he believed the longer the fight went, the more the advantage would swing to their side.
With her hot temper, Dragon God started yelling curses now. She was stomping her feet and shaking her fists, furious that she couldn’t just tear Michael apart right away. If her current strength hadn’t dropped so much, she wouldn’t be getting toyed with like this.
"You bastard, you bastard, you bastard! Just die for me!"
It was like she was so angry she lost her mind and threw her spear straight at Michael. The spear’s speed was very fast; Michael didn’t dare mess around and immediately teleported to a safe spot.
After teleporting, he looked at Dragon God with a mocking, taunting look. He could see she was clearly so pissed off at him she’d gone stupid. Throwing away her divine artifact, what did she have left to fight the two of them with?
"Ha ha ha, you are so stupid, ha."
He threw his head back and burst out laughing. He was even arrogant enough to not open his eyes to look at Dragon God. Of course, the main reason he was confident about closing his eyes was because his domain let him ’see’ everything inside it.
"Watch out!" 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
Leo yelled and immediately ran toward Michael. He had been keeping an eye on the spear’s flight path, so he quickly noticed something strange.
It wasn’t following a normal flight path, it was like it could chase after Michael. Plus, another weird thing was that its speed didn’t change, no matter how far it traveled.
Suddenly, an idea immediately flashed in his head. Until now, he had only used his domain’s ability on opponents, never trying to use it on other objects.
He immediately shifted the direction of gravity to push the spearhead up into the sky, but it was useless. A divine artifact wasn’t like a normal weapon; even when thrown, it still had protective energy to resist any negative effects.
The corner of Dragon God’s mouth curled up into a faint smile. Before, she might have been a fool, but after being betrayed once, how could she not learn from experience? Thanks to Sun God and Sea God, Dragon God now knew how to scheme and plan too.
All her acting pissed off just now was only to make Michael lower his guard. Michael’s ability was really hard to deal with, so she needed to take him down in one decisive hit.
From her observation, Michael’s teleportation distance was getting shorter and shorter. The purpose, without needing to think much, was obviously to taunt her. He was definitely pissed about getting beaten up by her at the very start, so now he was doing this to get back at her.
When he was close enough and arrogant enough in his mindset, that was the moment for her to land the finishing blow. She had calculated the positions carefully; Leo had no way to run over in time to save him. This time, Michael would either die or be severely wounded.
"Ha ha ha... Just a brat, and you think you can toy with the great Dragon God?"
She laughed softly, her eyes looking forward to seeing that annoying guy in front of her get pierced by her divine artifact.
Hearing Leo’s shout, Michael was startled and paid attention to the spear that he had clearly dodged, which had suddenly changed direction without slowing down at all.
He intended to clap his hands to teleport again, but the spear’s speed was too fast, he couldn’t make it in time. If he clapped his hands, he would have already been stabbed with a deep wound before teleporting.
With no other choice, he could only actively block the blow. His six arms immediately swung up to grab the spear’s shaft. The intense friction made the palms of Michael’s hands bleed, but he still gritted his teeth and endured.
The spearhead continued forward, stabbing into his chest, but it only went two centimeters deep before being forcibly stopped.
Feeling the sharp pain in his palms and his chest, Michael’s face twisted in a pained grimace. But he quickly forced the feeling down, revealing a strained smile to show he was fine.
"Ha ha, you only managed to give me this little scratch, and you lost your divine artifact. Your brain is still just as weak as ever, huh? I thought you’d come up with some more vicious scheme, but this is just kid’s stuff."
His mouth was talking tough like that, but it wasn’t hard to see that he was shaking. The explosive force Dragon God put into throwing that spear wasn’t something he could easily handle.
"Just this much?"
Dragon God pouted a little, disappointed. She actually thought that even if Michael didn’t die, he’d at least get impaled, but it looked like she’d underestimated him.
But judging by his current state, his clapping frequency would be hard to maintain since all six of his palms were injured.
"Hey, you idiot. Who told you I only have one spear?"
As soon as she finished speaking, the mark on the back of her hand lit up again. A long spear appeared in her palm because of it.
It was still that divine artifact, still the Seven-Hued Celestial Dragon Spear. But if you looked closely, you could notice a slight difference in color. Its color was a little fainter compared to the first spear.
Not only that, the color of the spear Michael was holding tightly in his hands had also faded a bit. Maybe the more there were, the lower the quality, but since there were only two spears so far, it didn’t affect it much yet.
"Let’s see how you block this one."
Dragon God smiled wickedly and once again threw the spear straight at Michael. Right now, all six of Michael’s hands were injured. Plus, his six arms were all shaking from the powerful force, making it hard to block another blow.
