I Am An Illegitimate Child With A Legitimate Reason For Revenge-Chapter 51: Raymond went to the convenience store

Raymond found himself in the convenience store downtown. He did not know how he got there.

"What am I doing here?" He asked, palming his face.

Somebody needed to get the sanitary pads and spare clothes for Ariel but he couldn’t send White because he was busy and it looked like Ariel urgently needed it so he came down on his own.

He couldn’t send the bodyguards either since they were a bunch of bone heads who knew only how to use their fists and body.

"I don’t even know what I’m looking for. I should’ve just sent a female staff." He groaned while rubbing his chin. Then, he folded his arms and stood still like a statue.

The ladies who passed by couldn’t help but admire this tall and handsome guy wearing nothing but rare designer brands. He looked so stunning that they couldn’t help but stare. His demeanor was no joke too.

From a glance, one had to admit that he was the kind of guy every girl wished to be their partner.

"Excuse me?" A female employee at the shop boldly walked up to him and he turned. "What are you looking for?"

"Pads." He bluntly answered and the female employee’s face flushed for some reason.

She couldn’t tell if she flushed because he mentioned pads or because of how manly and sexy his voice sounded.

"I need pads. Where can I get them?" He asked.

"Um, right this way." She led him to the ladies section while fanning her face with her hand. She couldn’t stop blushing.

The female employee stopped in front of the pad rack and pointed.

"Here they are. Which brand are you looking for?" She asked him, hoping to once again hear his voice but Raymond was silent.

’Aren’t those diapers?’ He thought and looked at the lady. She looked like she knew what she was doing. ’Maybe they’re just similar.’

Seeing Raymond remain silent, the female employee decided to repeat her question, thinking he didn’t hear her the first time.

"Um, which brand...?"

"Which is best?" Raymond asked, cutting her short.

"Well, every lady has a specific preference." She said, her face retaining its flushed state but Raymond did not pay attention or show concern to that.

’Preference.’ He thought and shook his head. There was no use thinking too much. He raised his hand, pointed at the start of the rack, and drew a line to the end. "All of it. Give me all of it."

"What?"

As shocking as his words sounded, he was serious and he ended up buying all the sanitary pads in the shop. As for the panties, from a glance, he knew the right size.

He had held her many times, enough for him to know her waist size, her breast size, and her butt size.

While buying these, he kept a straight face, making all those who were staring at him, look like clowns with red faces.

Meanwhile, Ariel stayed in the bathtub, wondering.

Raymond’s recent behavior towards her was quite unusual. If she didn’t know better, she would’ve concluded that he had taken a liking to her. But she knew that was impossible.

For one reason, he made her strip but didn’t react to her naked body at all. And for another reason, he said it himself, he wouldn’t touch or show interest in a girl far younger than him. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

"Still..." She muttered. "I can’t help but feel that he’s treating me a lot differently from before. He’s kinder with words too."

The water was getting cold and Ariel felt it was time to get out of the tub, lest she caught a cold. But her new change of clothes hadn’t arrived yet.

She got out of the tub and went to take a hot shower, hoping the time would pass quickly.

Just then, the door to the bathroom opened and she paused.

"Sir Raymond is that you...?" She asked.

There was a glass wall, demarcating the shower room from the bathtub. And the glass was covered in steam so she couldn’t exactly see who it was.

"Yes," Raymond answered. "I got everything you asked for and the bed has already been taken care of."

Ariel washed the soap off her face and cleaned the steam off the glass, enabling her a clearer view of him.

"Thank you." She said, smiling widely. "I’ll be out in a minute."

Raymond did not respond to this and simply stared. Ariel tilted her head, wondering what he was thinking about.

"Sir Raymond?" She called, snapping him out of whatever got him hooked.

"Ah, yes." He tore his gaze away from her. "Come out once you’re done." She nodded.

Raymond closed the door after leaving the bathroom and covered his mouth. His eyes were uncertain as he wondered what sort of reaction he had just now.

Staring at a naked Ariel through that glass made him have a certain craving he had never had before. Why now? He had seen her naked before. He had held her breast, touched her back, and hugged her yet now... Now he felt like if he didn’t hold her, his insides would explode.

He grabbed his chest. He suddenly craved to hold her in his arms. What was happening to him? Why was he feeling things he never felt before?

He took out his phone, ready to call Steve when the door opened.

"Oh, Sir Raymond." Ariel looked surprised. She didn’t expect him to be right at the door. "What were you doing?"

"It’s nothing." He answered, hiding his confused expression and kept his phone back in his coat pocket.

Ariel wore a robe, so for the meantime, his thoughts could stay clear.

She walked up to the bed, only to discover that there were more than 20 sanitary pads on the bed. She blinked her eyes twice to make sure she was seeing properly and then turned to him. She pointed at the bed.

"This... What’s all this?" She asked.

"I didn’t know what brand you used." He said.

"Then in that case, you could’ve at least bought two of each brand. You bought ten of each." She pointed out, shocked.

"It seemed like you would bleed a lot." He said in an outright manner. "I don’t know if two will be enough for you so I bought ten of each."

"Ten of... " She paused, suddenly realising something. "Wait a minute." She took a step towards him. "You went to buy these... by yourself?" She asked but he did not respond.

Raymond’s silence confirmed her question and she became even more confused.

"Why go to such lengths?"

"White was busy." He answered.

"So you went out...on your own...to a convenience store and bought... Pads?"

"I did."
