Hyper-Dimensional Player-Chapter 541 - 95: Four Gods Slain in One Day! (Part 2)
Manka Ula.
A hero without much legend, but his identity is anything but simple.
He is believed to be one of Horus’ four sons in human form.
— Manka Ula (Votary of Amshet) (God of Funerals) (Death Domain) (Five-Star Gold)!
The time has really come.
Many of the Divine Spirits wavered, unsure whether to risk their lives, but ultimately it was Horus’ sons who stood up. They were also powerful Demigods, subsidiary gods of the Netherworld domain, overseeing part of the power of death.
Since it’s the Death Domain, naturally, there is no weakness.
The spear in Manka Ula’s hand is called the ’Spear of Death Soar’, not a very famous Divine Artifact. Its greatest feature is that any mortal struck by it is doomed to die. It is incredibly light, twirling like a whirlwind, and its spear tassel made of peculiar feathers allows it to pierce enemies as if flying.
It is actually not in its complete form.
Its full name is the Spear of Necromantic Night Soar, both a war spear and a javelin, a weapon forged in the Dark Ages.
Manka Ula stepped directly in front of Duncan, yet did not enter the river.
Duncan had slain the crocodile god’s votary in the river, reminding them of the Lady of Fury’s power. Confronting Duncan in the river was quite disadvantageous, so Manka Ula stood on the riverbank’s flat ground, observing Duncan’s wounds, and raised his war spear.
This is a land battle because the water battle is uncertain.
Duncan looked unafraid; he lifted his grandfather’s battle axe and leaped down. The waves behind him dissipated, but the gaze of the Lady of Fury continued to shine brightly, her divine will constantly focused on Duncan.
In short, the golden body has been forged.
Duncan could die on the battlefield, but if someone dared to act treacherously or use some curse spell in secret, the Lady of Fury would surely overturn the table.
Heroes don’t die from sneak attacks.
This is a rule acknowledged by the Furious Gods; anyone who violates the rule, the Furious Gods will no longer be bound by any rules.
They are gods of chaos, and being willing to sit down to fight with you is already quite restrained.
— "Protection of the Lady of Fury: The divine power of the Lady of Fury constantly protects you. Any spell or curse must first break through her divine power before it can affect you."
This is the same treatment Hegel receives.
Only that Hegel is protected by the God of Strength, with divine power awakened during frenzy.
Come and fight!
As Duncan set foot on the shore, Manka Ula left a flash of shadow in place. His speed was extremely fast, faster than that of the elves. Such an enemy severely restrained reckless Barbarians. With a burst of dim light, Duncan’s shoulder was already blooming with blood.
Attempts to parry, block, or evade all failed.
Duncan’s expression grew increasingly solemn; the enemy was too fast, incredibly agile, and his weapon was strange, seemingly absorbing Duncan’s blood.
This is a weapon of the Death Domain; it is as light as if it has no weight.
Manka Ula circled Duncan swiftly, and after merely a few exchanges, Duncan was completely outmatched because he couldn’t hit the enemy. The horizontal sweep whirlwind of the grandfather’s battle axe was easily dodged by the enemy, and in an instant, Duncan’s shoulders, arms, and thighs bore numerous wounds.
Little knife cuts!
Not lethal but very painful.
As Duncan was suppressed, Prometheus and the allied forces on the Golden Coast grew exhilarated, and the Barbarians across the river became increasingly grave, with Hegel murmuring, "The enemy is too fast!"
Indeed, he’s fast.
Manka Ula’s swift movement directly left behind flashes of shadows, and Duncan was struck six times, his life bar decreasing section by section.
If this continues, Duncan will be worn down and killed here.
As if barely containing his fury, Duncan repeatedly failed to hit the enemy. He slammed his hand heavily on the ground, causing Manka Ula to stagger in the air, and as Duncan attempted to lift his battle axe again, a huge opening became evident.
Nearby, Prometheus and his group were overjoyed.
This man is going to lose.
Indeed!
In the next second, Manka Ula’s form flew forth, the necromantic spear arced through the sky, piercing Duncan’s chest like blood-red lightning, but the initially intended stab to the heart slightly deviated, merely penetrating the center of his chest.
This is already a serious injury!
As long as Manka Ula backed off, he could exhaust Duncan to death.
But as he tried to retract the spear, he found it was too late.
— Tenacious Frenzy.
Barbarians don’t die from non-lethal injuries.
Duncan astonishingly held the spear’s shaft piercing through his body, and in the next moment, in Manka Ula’s horrified gaze, he directly embraced the enemy before him. His speed was lightning-fast, and the enemy had no time to react. By the time others realized it, Manka Ula had already let out a heartrending scream.
Ah!
Blood spurted!
Eyeballs burst!
Crack!
In the blink of an eye, everyone could only see Duncan embracing Manka Ula, then inserting his fingers into his eye sockets, crushing the eyeballs in an instant. Subsequently, Manka Ula’s skull fractured, with brain matter and blood splattering like an exploded jelly, as if his whole skull burst like a smashed watermelon.
The outcome was decided.
No life, only death.
Duncan slowly drew out the Spear of Death Soar from his pierced chest. He also excelled at using spears, perfectly complementing the grandfather’s battle axe’s insufficient lethality. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
Manka Ula’s corpse fell limp, the whole head a sight too horrific to behold.
